San Jose Unified School District

Crap! Leland High School was suffering so much and we never got any money, even though our test scores were high in 1995 – 1999!!! Horrendous. so horrendous. Leland was suffering so much and all the other schools looked better in every way.
WE DIDN’T EVEN HAVE LOCKERS!
All the other high academic high schools like Saratoga, Cupertino, Monte Vista, Lynnbrook, etc. laughed at our school, calling us ghetto. How can Leland be «ghetto» if the neighborhood houses are a million dollars???
You are horrible school district. Because of you, I will never vote for any proposition that will EVER give money to the public school system. It was brutally clear to me when I attended Graystone Elementary, Bret Harte Middle, and Leland High that academic schools will never get a DIME because the San Jose Unified School District must hate Almaden Valley.
p. s. thanks for allowing Mr. Roske the chemistry teacher molest many female students since 2002 or earlier until you couldn’t avoid it anymore in 2005. you knew about it in 2002. you did nothing. a neither did bob setterlund. only until the cops come around in 2004 did you finally confess to all your protecting a sexual predator. thanks. alot. thanks. because of you, the families and those female students are thoroughly traumatized.

I grew up going to Booksin, Markham (now Willow Glen Middle School), and Willow Glen High School. All were filled with FANTASTIC experiences, great teachers, and wonderful campuses.
