This place lives up to what people refer to as horror stories of a nursing home. .

So I may be a little biased because I work here… But it changed my mind about the way I think about nursing homes. I’ve come to love the people there. It’s really the patients that make the place awesome. A lot of visitors have conversations with other people besides their loved ones, and it’s become a little community. Plus, almost all the employees are Filipino. Sometimes there’s food, and it’s shared generously with many others. The best thing I love is something I noticed the moment I walked in for my interview. ITDOESN’T SMELLLIKEURINE!!! I’ve been to a lot of nursing homes and they all stink. Because it’s a nursing home, it’s impossible to completely get rid of foul smells. But the CNAs do a really good job keeping the smells at bay. And the housekeeping and janitors keep the floor so clean you can eat off it. Sometimes I can’t tell if there’s water on the floor or if its just the wax.
