It’s nice to know there are nice people and really sympathetic without an agenda to rip you off. This is no nonsense, simple, reasonable casket buying. The caskets range from $ 1888 to $ 2980. James is the nice guy.

My experience mirrors the others, we almost got took for over 3,500.00 for the same process.
I wish I knew about this place before hand, would have saved me a lot of stress. There are a few bits of info you’ll need such as the loved one’s S/​S number, place of birth and date and profession, their parents place of birth and their Birthdays and where they were born. That’s for the county records.
James was caring and professional and didn’t prey on a clients moment of weakness and didn’t sell you anything you didn’t need. I’m glad people like that exist as this makes the process so much easier on these hard times. If you want a low cost straight cremation this is the right place, I recommend him to others now.

I have yet to do services with this business and I am already giving them 5 stars! This review is based off my 3 phone calls with James.
At only 20 years old, I was completely lost on how to go about planning a cremation service by myself prior to my phone call with James. Hospice gave me a list of mortuaries and cremation services and I was a little skeptical about this particular one because it was one of the cheapest on the list. After many phone calls to at least 15 places, I decided to go with this one because of James (the affordable prices are a plus too). He is so genuine, caring, and personable! He explained to me the whole process with all the details and rates of every step. He didn’t rush me off the phone like other places. I feel like I am in great hands. You definitely won my business, James!
I will update when the time comes and I have to go through with his services.

We needed a cremation for my 92 year old mother-​in-​law. We did not need any additional services. We went to Oak Hill learning they wanted $ 3000 just for the Cremation. Are you kidding me? We went to Santa Clara Funeral & Cremation Services where we were told it was just over $ 700 which included a few death certificates. Great deal. The man who helped us, James, was caring, helpful, and professional. I hope my wife takes me there when it’s my time.

First of all my husband would be proud that we followed his wishes to be cremated and not go into debt. We went in not knowing what to expect. Our funeral Consultant ‘James Joesten’ was a God-​send to me and my 4 sons trying to navigate through a living emotional nightmare of doing all the right things. He got us through signing papers, gave advice on what to do next, and really just helped us out on what we needed to know about everything. Just wanted to give another ‘Thank You’ to James, we are in an even better place than where we were before we visited.

«Shopping» for a reputable and professional cremation service can be overwhelming and stressful, especially if you’re a newbie to the process like me. However, this place had been my answered prayer when we decided to cremate my mom. I was skeptical at first, given that the basic price was the lowest in town. That changed completely, once I got in touch with the person in charge, James Joesten. I was so impressed with his professionalism and efficient business manner, his knowledge and caring attitude. He contracts with the most wonderful mortuary, transport service, and crematory. He is very straight-​forward and doesn’t have any hidden fees, and he walks you through the whole process and keep you updated on the progress as well. I am so pleased with this place that I’m recommending them to everyone I know.
Note that the store front is called The Casket Store, where they also sell caskets and other funeral services as well, so it can be confusing at first glance. But no worries, James takes good care of you!
