Shalom Christian Academy

Our daughter loves it here. The staff shows caring which makes a parent comfortable.

Both of our daughters currently go to Shalom Christian Academy daycare. Our eldest daughter has been going there over two years. We highly recommend Shalom. Shalom is a great balance of learning, fun activities, served hot lunches, and nap time. Furthermore, the teachers are experienced and have been with Shalom for a longtime. We greatly appreciate the loving care that Shalom has provided to our daughters.

The food is really good. Loving teachers! Alot of things are set up in room to play with. Educational play too. Nice Easter parties. A very nice preschool.

My review is long over due, but here is my experience of Shalom Academy.
When it comes to leaving your precious ones to someone else’s care, it all comes down to «Trust» issue. Can I trust the person/​establishment to care for my child (ren)? Of course you won’t know this right away and it certainly takes some time to find out who they really are.
I am glad to have given Shalom that chance because I can truly «Trust» them to care for precious little ones. In fact, my two children have gone to Shalom Academy for couple of years before they moved on to elementary school.
Shalom is one of the schools I refer young families to check out when asked because Ms. Laura and her staff have earned my approval.
Positives I experienced;
— Genuine love and care for the children
— Dedicated teachers
— Organic Food. (Yes, you don’t have to prepare packed lunches for your children, they fed my kids well balanced organic lunches and snacks which is a huge plus)
— Easy to communicate. Ms. Laura and her staff doesn’t make you wait if you need to talk to them.
— Date night. (I know many places have this, but it certainly helps when we go on date night)
— Christian value based teachings. (very important to my wife and I for our children to be learning how to be a good person with Christian characters.)
— Location. (Right next to Santana Row. Need I say more?)
Not so positives I experienced;
— Tuition is on the higher side, but you certainly get what you pay for and more compared to other higher end preschools.
Lastly, this is my review of Shalom Academy and others may have different experiences, but they are mostly positives when I speak to parents who send their precious ones to Shalom Academy.

My eldest daughter attended Shalom Christian Academy for 2 years and my youngest has been attending for a couple years now as well. We’ve tried other preschools, but we found Shalom to be one of the best in the South Bay. I’ve seen some parents leave the school to go to other schools, but 99% guaranteed they return. Why? Because Ms. Laura (the owner) designed a curriculum that has a very healthy balance of academics and playtime. The school practices excellent hygiene which is very important to us. The food is beyond awesome because it is cooked with organic ingredients onsite. Ultimately, Ms. Laura and the teachers genuinely love the kids, and the kids love them and the school!
