It has been nearly 5 months since I took my original «fat» 80GB PS3 to Silicon Computer, and it is still kicking! The PS3 would refuse to start, and would display a blinking red light. While most repair places just reflow the GPU’s solder to temporarily fix the problem, the guy I talked to at Silicon Computer claimed they reballed the GPU! And given that my PS3 has been working fine since, I’m inclined to believe him.
That said, my usage of the PS3 has been sparse, so your mileage may vary. Even if my PS3 dies next month, the repair cost was reasonable enough that I won’t mind. And the service was fast too: done the same day I took it in.

Henry was amazing! He was not only fast, but he did everything with such quality. He replaced my iphone 6 screen which got ran over by a car for 90 bucks. Highly recommend! Would definitely come here if I shatter my phone again (which most likely will happen)

Henry was able to get the glass screen replaced on my Samsung Galaxy S5; the downside was that after couple days later, the screen just suddenly went black. I was quite disappointed that $ 95 for the glass screen, plus a bad feeling of the $ 200 to replace the whole screen. I really didn’t drop the phone at all after I got the phone back; yet the screen was black.
Took it to Henry last week to see what was going on, and he said that the LCD is damaged and it would cost about $ 200 to get it replaced… What I did was nothing but to leave as I felt that whoever repaired my phone got the screen messed up. I shouldn’t get charged as the damaged LCD screen was not my fault; probably I would ask them to see what they can do, or take apart the phone if needed, it is possible that it is a loose wire or something that caused the LCD screen to go black. (I’m not a tech person, but it is just a hypothesis)
For other phones like iPhones, they can get it done; as for Samsungs, not exactly.
But for one, I don’t want to be charged for something that I haven’t done at all. If I have to replace the LCD, then drop the price, because the LCD replacement would come with a glass screen. I won’t spend more money on a glass replacement, then now I have to deal with the LCD screen.
Would recommend this place for iPhones, but not Samsungs

I personally am very wary of repairing my own hardware, so the guys at Silicon Computer were super great at helping me out with that. They replaced the screen on my ASUS T100 for about $ 55 (I bought the part myself), and they also installed the SSD on my Samsung laptop for about $ 65 (once again, I bought the part). All-​in-​all, good service at a reasonable price, since other places charge more for labor. Highly recommended!

A few weeks ago I had a power outage in our house that shutdown my imac and I couldn’t turn it back in. I took it to the Macstore and the Geniuses said it was the power supply unit was dead but they couldn’t fix because my mac was old and the part was discontinued. So I went to find a shop who can still get the parts. I found Silicon Computers close to my house and brought my mac to them. Dropped it off on Thursday and got it back on Tuesday. Computer is working great and the service was excellent. Thanks

I had first called (silicon computer Inc) about the tempered glass screen protector for my IPhone 5s. So I go buy it and have it installed, all for only $ 6.00 flat out the door no taxes and absolutely no air bubbles, lint or dust underneath it at all! If your looking for a tempered glass screen protector. I would highly recommend this place 100%
Now I’m not sure about the same price for other models, but I definitely would recommend this place satisfaction guaranteed… No complaints at all what so ever!!!

Henry is simply a genius, I spilled water on my brand new MacBook air so I took it to Apple Store, and they would charge me for $ 800 cause i did liquid dmg on it, which i refused to do so. So i found this guy on Unilocal and took the poor laptop there, and guess what?! He repaired it in just one day for only $ 200. Let’s give this man a huge applause.

My IPad touch screen and sensor does not work anymore, only 2 months after the screen replacement was done on 09÷09÷14. Seems to be that the glue and other stuff behind the screen did not put together well and the work quality was poor. Will not come back regardless how good the price is now. It’s just not worth the time and money in the end to keep coming back for repair due to low quality.

Our iMac5 started to act up and would freeze occasionally. I took it to Henry and within a couple of days, he fixed it up and it works very well. I welcomed this option to buying another «new thing» which will only last for a while. I highly recommend Silicon Computer to all who’d like to not only save money but get more from what they’ve already got. Today I am going to take our Nobis tablet and can’t wait for them to fix it.

If you have a broken screen you MUST go to Henry! He is VERY kind and knows what he is doing ! I advise you call beforehand and make sure that you set an appointment because he is sometimes not in the office to get parts!
For my completely shattered iPhone 5c he charged $ 75! After calling numerous places I could not find anyone cheaper. Plus another $ 20 off from the Unilocal deal! He fixed it literally in 15 min and it looks like brand new.

A couple of months ago I dropped my iphone and of course had a broken screen. I did a craigslist search for iphone repair and found an add by Silicon Computer. I called them up about 10 minutes to closing seeing if someone could fix my phone — not only did the person stay about 20 minutes after closing to fix my cell phone, they did it quickly!
Yesterday, I amazing dropped my cell phone in a cup of water sitting in my car’s cup holder and left it there for a good 5 minutes before noticing my phone was submerged! I rushed over to Silicon Computer and the same person who replaced my cell phone screen opened up my phone and helped me dry out my iphone battery so there wouldn’t be too much damage. When I asked how much this would cost, he said it was no problem and didn’t charge me anything.
Great service, very customer friendly and good prices. I hope I never submerge my laptop or drop and break the laptop screen, but if I do, I will most definitely be making another visit to Silicon Computer

I came here to get my wife’s iPhone screen fixed. Not only did Henry do a great job, but he did it fairly quickly… in about 10 minutes! He was very kind and not like these other sales people who try to sell you other useless things and overprice you. I’m definetly coming here the next time my wife breaks her iPhone, iPad, iAnything cuz I know it will happen again. I’m glad I found my go to electronic repair shop.

Their team is great at repairs and quick about it! When I had questions, they answered them honestly and with the confidence of knowledge. I can tell they’re going to be be way busier in the future so I suggest that if you need to get your repairs done, get it done with them asap because I doubt they’ll be this inexpensive for the type of quality they provide for too much longer. As soon as I get some more money I’m going to ask them to upgrade the hardware for my Mac. They deserve this review so I hope they get more business rolling their way.
