They have managed our rental property for 3 years with no issues. They are easy to work with. Then they recently sold our condo in less than 2 weeks, easy process.

We just recently sold our townhome and had such a great experience using SV lofts and condos. Eric was our realtor, and we liked him from the start. He was personable and friendly without being pushy. His advice and suggestions were always just that — just recommendations. We never felt like we HAD to do something. Our neighbors used them a few years ago and we were so impressed by their work (beautiful advertisement) that we still remembered 3 years later when it was time for us to sell. And my goodness, they are so efficient! We never had to worry about anything other than moving. They set up everything else for us, which was so helpful since we have a toddler and baby. Moving itself was stressful enough without having to also think about repairs, cleaning, staging etc. After we moved it literally took them a week to get the house posted and set up an open house. We accept an offer after literally one day of open house. The rest of the team is also fabulous. Camille was a wonder. We already miss getting her updates. Couldn’t recommend them enough.

As a former property manager, if you told me I’d ever leave a review for another PM, I’d have laughed you out of the room.
They are hands-​down the best company I’m aware of. My manager, Kathleen, was genuinely interested in making every aspect of my tenancy easier.
From the start, we were given an information-​rich, bullshit-​free, packet of important need-​to-​know items such as how to reserve parking for the moving truck, specific nuances of the building important to that operation, and local utilities to call.
Yes, I can gather that information myself, but she took the time to do it and it made my life profoundly easier.
During the tenancy, there has never been an occasion where it’s taken more than a couple hours to return an email or call. And yes, she even gave me her personal cell to text.
Every maintenance concern was addressed quickly and with zero inconvenience for us.
Literally, in every way possible, this company made it a pleasure to be a renter. Frankly, it felt more like living in a luxury hotel than being a tenant.
If you can afford the prices their portfolio tends to offer at, you’re wasting your money if you go with any other company.

Moving is the best! (Said no one, ever) I think it’s safe to say moving absolutely sucks, but thanks to Kathleen, Tony, Tom and SVLC, our recent move could not have gone more smoothly! My boyfriend and I decided last year we wanted to live downtown, specifically the Axis condos, so we started putting our feelers out. We found a posting on Craigslist, and I was able to view it within a day or so of calling Tom. From the time we emailed Kathleen our application, to the day we got approved, it was less than one week. The entire process from beginning to end took a little over a month, with no bumps along the way.
Kathleen was very responsive to my many emails (sometimes responding within seconds), and she made each step in the process fast and easy. Thanks to SVLC we are happily settled into our amazing new home, and could not be more thrilled. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to live the downtown life.

From the marketing to the management of the property and the tenants, they handled every piece with little to no effort from me. When I decided to sell, they were my first choice as a partner. I had the pleasure of working with Kathleen on renting one of the units at the Axis. From the first time we met up until the keys were handed out, Kathleen has been a pleasure to work with.
What I find appealing about Silicon Valley and Lofts is that they make you feel like you are there only client. I couldn’t tell you how many times I was calling Kathleen prior to our move, so that she could grant us access to measure furniture dimensions in the new place.
While we have just started our lease, I feel confident that the initial experience will continue on throughout our lease… the experience was just sublime bliss!

After a horrible experience with a different agent, my husband and I found Silicon Valley Lofts & Condos and met the fantastic Eric Woodward! The first time we met him I knew instantly he was the one who would get the job done while being completely honest. Big smile, fantastic laugh… yup, he’s our man. We needed to find a property fast and were interested in a downtown property. Told him what we wanted and he found us everything and more! That was in 2009.

My fiancé and I met Eric Woodward when we were looking to purchase our first home together in San Jose in June 2013. As a resident of San Jose, Eric really knows everything there is to know about the housing market in the area. He is very easy to talk to and happily answered any of our questions. He definitely made the home search easy and less stressful!
We didn’t have to do much looking ourselves at all. He was always available to show us homes whenever we wanted. I really appreciate his honesty about each of the places we visited. No nonsense, no fluff.
Eric knew exactly what we were looking for when we said we wanted something modern and fairly new. We had our hearts set on the loft-​style condos but ended up with a townhouse in Japantown that still was very modern, new and clean. He did a great job negotiating to get me a good deal and helped me through the process given I was a first time home buyer. He was extremely responsive and got things done quickly. When I sold my home, he was spot on suggesting the price I should list my home at to get multiple offers and above asking price. The photos he had taken were very professional and the brochure looked great. As promised, my home sold right away and I got several great offers. It is always a pleasure working with Eric! Tony also helped out when Eric was on vacation and he is great too. If you are looking to buy or sell in downtown San Jose, these are your guys.
My husband and I also bought our home in San Ramon with Nikki and Joey because they are knowledgeable about the east bay. They also did a fantastic job and were great to work with. They were very attentive and got us into a great home sooner than expected in a tough market.

The comment by Tony is once again inaccurate. The day of move out, Tony himself said that the house was clean and in good condition and highlighted only 2 minor things that he said that we would get charged for… the mistake on our part was not making him sign on the move out inspection sheet
Also, Tony you should remember that all the rescheduling was to accommodate the landlord’s selling agent for the house wanting to do an open house that day… despite the fact that we were still paying rent for the property for that day…
I won’t respond to any further discussion on this… the deal was definitely not fair and nothing you say in a public forum can change that.

I have worked with Eric Woodward and Silicon Valley Lofts and Condo’s for over 3 years, both as realtors and property managers; Eric, Tony, and Kathleen are extremely professional and knowledgeable in both areas!
Silicon Valley Lofts and Condo’s has managed a single family dwelling in Sunnyvale as well as 2 condos in Park Townsend, downtown San Jose. They did an outstanding job pricing each place to lease quickly with screened tenants who pay their rent on time.
I highly value SVLC being the on-​going contact for the condo tenants and the HOA management, when needed, so I don’t need to worry about anything. For example, the unit below us experienced water dripping from the ceiling and contacted the HOA management to gain access to our unit to find the leak. Kathleen worked with the HOA while they explored the causes and made necessary repairs; she kept me and the tenants informed of what was being done, when repairs would be done, etc. Turns out the leak was caused by a unit above us; but, this necessitated repairs to our unit. Without Kathleen’s capable managing of the process, I would have needed to deal with both the tenants and HOA managers — YUCK! I find the peace of mind worth the management fee!
In the case of renting the single family dwelling that had been neglected for years due to aging parents SVLC took care of planning and executing necessary updating, at a very reasonable cost, to make the home rent-​ready; all their vendors did a great job. They also quickly and economically took care of on-​going tenant requests for repairs that emerged in a 60 year old home that had not been maintained, relieving me of the stress associated with me needing to find a repair person, since they have developed professional relationships with MANY repair vendors. When it was time to sell this house, Eric came up with the creative idea of accepting bids due at a specific date and time which resulted in $ 50,000 over asking price!
With Silicon Valley Lofts and Condos as my property managers, I am completely free of any extra work related to being a landlord. I never think about my properties because SVLC takes care of them. I found their services invaluable, even when I lived in SJ. Since moving out of state 14 months ago, I have been even happier that I engaged SVLC as property managers!
I think the professionalism and engaging personalities of Kathleen, Tony, and Eric are another invaluable asset to their property management (and real estate) services.

I’ve worked with a few real estate professionals in the past and found Eric to be exceptionally professional. I own a condo in the downtown San Jose area. SVLC is my property manager, and I honestly couldn’t be happier. Talk about non-​drama. They take care of everything. If it weren’t for the auto-​payment every month, I’d forget I actually owned a condo. If you’re a landlord looking for piece of mind, I’d say look no further. Talk to Kathleen. Was greeted with a smile at the door and was introduced to the amenities then passed to another uniformed guy that showed everyone to the unit.
The brochure they handed out was actually useful stating the restaurants and stores around instead of just a print out of the MLS.
I have never felt that the realtors deserved the 3% commission until I met these guys.

I walked into this Silicon Valley etc. towards the end of a dog walk/​errand run, knowing very little about real estate, and looking like a vagrant (I usually look like one, it’s just the way clothes fit me), yet Eric Woodward went out of his way to help me. I learned things! Honestly, I’d been a bit afraid to go into their office without dressing up first, but I’m glad I went in as-​is and was able to experience how nice and non-​judgmental they were. I’m definitely going to return to Eric for help with this whole condo/​loft thing, if the market ever opens up.

Buying a property can be a frustrating and stressful situation, but SV Lofts and Condos made it a pain free process. And, don’t let the name fool you, SV Lofts and Condos got us our house.

I can’t say enough good things about Eric Woodward at Silicon Valley Lofts & Condos, so I will try to describe my experience in shopping for and then successfully purchasing a condo in downtown SJ.
My husband and I had been interested in living in the downtown area and during an online search of properties at Paseo Plaza, we came across a few listings on
. I was able to get in touch with Eric within 24 hours of my search and he was of great help from the get-​go. He had a great and easy going attitude, expansive knowledge of the downtown area, and was not pushy at the on-​set as my husband and I were still just window shopping at the time. Eric was able to give us all of the info we needed up front to get us started and even recommended a special bank program to look into for our loan (we ended up purchasing through this program as it offered the best incentives). I knew instantly that he would be a great realtor to work just from the first conversation.
Once we decided to get serious about buying, Eric was ready to roll up his sleeves and get started on the process with us. He educated us on all types of sales from foreclosures, short-​sells, bank owned, etc. so that we could be prepared to handle anything that came our way. Being extremely familiar with the area, Eric gave us the pros and cons of each condo we looked at and gave us insight into HOA management, street noise, level of foot traffic, etc. All of this was really helpful info for us to make our final decision. Once we finally got into contract, Eric was our advocate, dealing directly with the REO company, bank and title and making sure to keep us well informed and updated daily. It’s been a great process and made so much easier because of Eric’s help.
Today, my husband and I are happy new home owners. We were able to get the place we wanted and at a great price. Our neighbors are awesome and we are in love with the area.
Eric continues to be a source of reference for us and offers his help to us as we need it. The realtor/​buyer relationship has morphed into a really great friendship! My wife and I have spent the better part of the past 5 years looking for a place to buy. Each time we are ready to make an offer, something usually happens and we decide to hold off. C’est la vie.
As such, I have been obsessive about reading and understanding real estate in the bay area. I am also by default skeptical on realtors since all I read about is people looking to do as little as possible for their 3%.
When we decided to look into our options at some of the new high rises in downtown SJ, I decided to call SVL&C to see what they could offer (mostly just wanted to get their take on the properties in SJ). We met with Tony and we felt very comfortable with him. He took us around to all of the buildings and answered our questions. You know, typical realtor stuff.
Where Tony (and Woody his partner) really stood out was when we made an offer. Tony is a former lawyer and spent lots (and lots) of time with us going over 80 page contracts, signing documentation and ultimately negotiating with the builder. We felt our offer, which was accepted, was very good considering the market (and lower than what I expected to pay). Tony’s knowledge of the recent closing prices and downtown market in general was invaluable.
