Car died on a cold night on a busy, rush-​hour highway. Two tow– services I called were of no use to me, then I called Silva’s. Ray was professional and business-​like on the phone, arrived on-​time, and the job was done slick, quick and easy. Silva’s definitely will be my go-​to towing service in the future.

Silva helped when nobody else would/​could! Great folks who go way above and beyond «can-​do» to ensure their customer is well taken care of, I cannot thank them enough for their service and great staff. They exhibited perfect communications, super-​fair price, great care and dedication. I was in a tough spot. Despite the challenges of a late night call, a damaged, non-​functional, non-​rollable vehicle stuck in a lower-​level garage that made it nearly impossible to get the proper equipment close to it, they managed to carefully recover the vehicle and get it safely flat-​bedded away. Lyndon, the driver who responded to my call, instilled great confidence, provided superior customer service, and got the job done! He’s a great representative for his company. I highly recommend Silva Bros Towing!

I had an old 1996 van (with 166k miles) taking up space in my driveway. Due to a recent bad transmission, it had a top speed of 35 mpg, which made it OK for using on city streets to carry things, but not too practical. The cost to repair the transmission was more than the car was worth. Since the registration was due and a smog check needed, I decided to get rid of it. Due to the transmission issue, it meant selling it for scrap/​junk. I called many places that make a business of buying old junk cars, but most were offering too little money or were not that cooperative on the phone. Seeing a good review for Silva Bros on Unilocal,I gave them a call.
After describing the vehicle and its current condition, I was given an offer for the car. It was $ 40 lower than the best offer that I received. I told him about the other offer for $ 300, and he agreed to match it. I felt better about dealing with him than the other firm (phone manners are important for customers!), I decided to give him the business and agreed to sell him the car for $ 300.
As I was calling late in the afternoon, he arranged for someone to pick up the car with a tow truck the next morning. Right on schedule, there was someone there with a flat bed tow truck. I signed over the title and he gave me the cash. He then winched up the car onto the tow truck and drove off. Very easy and professional.
If you have an old junker, I recommend selling it to Silva Bros. They will give you fair compensation and tow away the vehicle.

I just got off the phone with Niko who gave us a more than fair price for our clunker car. My husband and I have been shopping around the area for quotes, and have received either terrible offers for our car or just plain rudeness over the phone by the person giving us a quote. Niko provided us with a fair market price, as well as a sympathetic ear to our situation. He was helpful in giving me the requirements needed for the car to be bought and offered to tow the car with no additional charges. As far as customer service alone goes, I would say Silva Towing left a lasting impression on me. I highly recommend them for selling your junk cars because they gave us a fair price for an inoperable vehicle and offered precise instructions on how to fully transfer the ownership to them.

I locked my keys in my car at a strip mall, one of the friendly onlookers suggested I call a towing company instead of a locksmith since they can often be cheaper. That wasn’t turning out to be the case, but then I called Ray. He was super kind, gave me a bad day discount, came as quickly as he could and reminded me that it could always be a lot worse and bad days are all about the way you look at them. My car was open so quickly, I was processed and on my way so fast I accidentally left a bag behind… Could be worse, right Ray?

EXCELLENT SERVICE!!! I have Silva Brothers Tow in my contacts. I have used Silva Brother Tow numerous times throughout the years and have NEVER been disappointed. Last night my car wouldn’t start and made a clacling noise. I called Silva Bros. and they offered to refer me to another tow service due to the possible 1.5 hour wair. I said that I would rather wait for them. I’ve used them many times before and they are reliable and bill State Farm directly. While I waited in the shopping center parking lot i envisioned myself taking the bus, 1.5 hr by bus 25 minutes by car, to work figuring I had major engine trouble, When Javier showed he asked what was going on with the car. He popped the hood and tried jumping it with a small generator, That didn’t work, so he cleaned some crude around the battery bolts and jump started my car with his truck. It started right up! Javier pointed out the potential cause of trouble and suggested I get my battery checked. He also cautioned me to watch out for symtons that could mean the altenator is going out. Instead of being towed home, I drove home. Thanks Javier and Silva Bros. You guys ROCK!!!

Best towing experience of my life! My tire blew out on Highway 82 and I had to pull off on the ramp over Labor day weekend. Thought I’d be without a car till at least mid next week. I called Silva Bros Towing and they picked me up from a nearby shopping center. We picked up my car off the ramp and they were super profession but at the same time really down to earth and friendly! Not knowing San Jose very well, I asked them to drive me to a nearby tire outlet that was already closed. I planned on calling them on the weekday to get my tired fixed. Silva Bros Towing recommended a tire company that they knew was open and towed my car there for no additional charge. To my surprise the tire shop they recommended was still open during Labor Day weekend, and was even able to switch out my tires to new ones within 20 minutes. I’m so glad I reached out to Silva Bros Towing, otherwise I may still be without a car right now. If I am ever in need of a tow in San Jose, I know for sure who I’ll be calling.

I was driving a friend home and we started to slow and smoke on the freeway so we immediately pulled over. She has State Farm and I wasn’t sure who to call for a tow so I Googled «State Farm tow San Jose» and this place came up high on the search results because of their great reviews.
I gave them a call to verify that they did indeed bill State Farm directly as I had read in another review and they did. The man on the phone was very nice and professional. The driver came pretty quickly (about 20 min) and he was super quick, funny (he was joking around with us a little), and also very professional. This company is great if you need a tow. I would definitely recommend them.

Very positive experience! On time, good rates, quoted price with no weird charges, overall fantastic people. We remodeled our house so my derelict baby (’72 Chevy Blazer) had to move to storage to make room. John set me up over the phone. Lyndon was on time, pulled my old beast onto the flatbed no problem, and dropped her into a tight spot like he was playing with Tonka toys. Remodel finished and it was time to bring the beast home. Again, John set me up (he remembered me from 5 months before) and this time Rey showed up on time and with a smile. Rey is a magician with the flatbed. Despite a cable TV box and a streetlight in the way, he finessed my truck perfectly into place on our driveway. Everyone I worked with was friendly and super professional. Whenever I need anything with wheeled towed, Silva Bros. is going to have my business. Thanks guys!

Best Towing Company in San Jose. My clutch went out and I was stuck in a dangerous place and from the moment I called Silva Bros and reached Ray it was a pleasant experience. Not only was it the best customer service, but the driver Ray got to us quickly. It was in the middle of the night and I and my friend were stuck on an on ramp in a dangerous situation. They answered the phone promptly and got to us in 20 minutes. They also drove us and towed our car all the way to San Francisco for a reasonable price. If I am ever stuck in a situation like that again my first call will be to Silva Bros Towing.

I used Silva’s Brother towing 3 times to get my car towed from place to place to place. They were very helpful and they guy even remembered me when I called. They were on time and not bad price wise. I would recommend to use.

On Valentine’s Day, I made a quick stop at Whole Foods. I was picking up melting chocolate for the chocolate flourless cake I was to bake. I get into my car and it does not start. Called the hubby. Hubby called our State Farm Agent. Silva Bros Towing was there in no time flat. They tried to jump start my car (with no avail) so they put my car onto their flat bed and towed it to the dealership.
Pros: they direct bill your State Farm Agent.
Just note: if you don’t have your insurance card on you the tow will cost a pretty penny!

Great Company! Excellent customer service, very friendly, very caring, and very quick! I was very impressed with Linden, the driver who helped me, today. He was very patient (I know nothing about cars) and really helped me out. Thank you! Highly recommended!

You know that big ball of fire up in the sky? I think that is decoration because my world rotates around me and so everything that happens to me is the first time and its monumential… okay I know I am not the center of the universe but hey what else can I do.
First, they are missing a start for arriving at 9am opposed to 8:46am why am I discounting a star for this because with me timing is everything hence they may get that star back should I have to really say goodbye to the red rocket.
Can you guess I have I have had my share of car troubles and in need of a permanent tow truck company? Yeah… its been that for me.
Anyway, they arrived, they drove and for a mere couple of dollars (read: less than $ 100 butmore then $ 50) they take the red rocket to get her battery and for that I adore them more than I adore free movies and cupcakes.
I need to find a towing company that has single drivers though…

SAVED MY LIFE. Ok, well not yet– and like, not literally. But still, they deserve a five star review for their customer service alone.
I called tonight after getting a flat on my way to my pet sitting client’s house. Total bummer. Even more of a bummer because it’s the day before Xmas eve and every other jerk I called was ho-​humming and price «adjusting» for the inconvenient timing. Sorry, flat tires happen on almost holidays too, people!
So after reaching maximum distraughtedness (yes, it was so bad I get to make up a word), I finally googled towing companies that accept State Farm.
Immediately Ray, the very awesome guy who answered the phone, put me at ease. He assured me that my insurance covered the cost of a tow and that I didn’t have to pay out of pocket. UM, yeah– two other places tried to tell me otherwise (they were very mistaken).
I’m due to have my poor car picked up by them tomorrow. I don’t even care if they’re the biggest jerks ever from this point– they’ve given me peace of mind tonight and that’s EXACTLY what I needed.
Update: Ray came and picked up my car this morning. Best service ever. Five stars all the way.
So people, when you need a tow, a tire change, etc. CALL THESE GUYS!
