This store rocks! They have a wide selection of really great beers and that is the main reason I go there. Faisel and the rest of the guys are very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. They also have great prices on their beer and booze. Don’t forget to grab a lotto ticket or two. I don’t smoke but they have you covered on that realm as well.

The price gouging alone makes me take my business elsewhere.

Driving around on the weekend wanting to get good beers to drink with our thanksgiving leftovers and we found this liquor store called Southgate. We went to see that not only did they have liquor they had a very good selection of craft beers in about 6 different cooler doors. This place was like a bottle shop and they sell kegs too. It was great having so much vareiry to choose from and to top it off we got a chance to buy bourbon county brand stout. If anybody likes beer this is a great place to check out.

So shady. If you follow them on beermenus looking for craft beer, they list all kinds of stuff that is unavailable when you actually get to the store. They had updated their beer list on the SAME DAY I visited, and I went there looking for at least 5 different brews. Walked out with none. Excuse after excuse, «someone bought them all earlier», «that one is part of a mix pack and you have to buy the whole mix pack», «beermenus automatically listed the wrong beer», «we have other beers from that brewery, not sure why we don’t have that one.» I would’ve spent at least $ 50 on beer plus given them repeat business, but now I can’t trust their updated beer lists and feel deceived by their false advertising. Never coming here again.

Amazing customer service. Definitely worth stopping by on my way home from work. Few places have the craft selection these guys have.

This is my favorite liquor store. I use to come here to cash my checks and all the workers are cool… they always have the newest drinks out and are always fully stocked. This is the only place I buy my lotto tickets from also… always a winner!!!

5 visits to this place, bought the same beer and was charged 3 diff prices. Should have given up the first time. Should have known, cashiers on cell phones not paying attention. No multi tasking here just multi stupidity. My bad for going there.

This is place is the bomb-​diggity. Great beer selections. Faisal and Frank know what they are talking about when it comes to their microbrewery selection.

I called in to this liquor store and asked if the owner had what I was looking for and he said let him call his supplier and 24hrs later I got what I needed for My Old Man Birthday tomorrow! Thanks Southgate Liquor

I’ve going here off and on for about 4 years now and they’ve just recently realized how popular good craft brew is. They doubled their capacity about 2 weeks ago, which means they have 2 fridges dedicated to craft brew. It ranges from the normal Lagunitas and Sierra Nevada to Drakes Hopocalypse and some new XPA by Deschutes. They even still have some 12 Stone and Parabola. They are super willing to stock anything they can get their distributor to get for them.
The old guy behind the counter is fairly grumpy and has a thick accent. But, whatever, the other younger guy is really friendly and cares a lot about the store.
If you are heading there late in the afternoon/​evening, there tends to be some loitering by younger people, but in general, they leave you alone and I haven’t seen any drama.
I think that with some good suggestions and feedback, they will continue to have a good selection of brew.
Oh yeah, prices are fairly average… the Hopocalypse is $ 7.49, the Imperial IPA from Green Flash is $ 6.99, etc.

Not really heavily stocked with a wide variety of liquor. It looks like they don’t want to invest heavily into stocking the place with quality product. The «finest» Single Malt Scotch was a Macallan 12. They do not carry Laphroaig or Balvenie.

Southgate liquors has lots of soft drinks, hard liquor, microbrew beers in stock.

I like going here, this store has every energy drink a vast selection of wine, beer, hard stuff. Good liqour store.

convenient, open late and affordable. this place gives you a free lighter with every pack of ciggarettes you buy! Everyone in my part of town knows this place real well.
