Spa Severino

One of the best facials I have ever had! Diane did a great job, she has a gentle touch, yet is very thorough, my skin feels amazing. The massage was super relaxing, Diane uses Sothys and a few other anti-​aging lines, her spa is very clean and the facials are affordable. After the facial, Diane had the table set up with scones, water, coffee and tea… this is such a treat after a relaxing facial. I definately be going back, in matter of fact, I have already scheduled my next appointment. I will be telling all my friends about this place.

Best facial treatment I have ever had. I live in New York and visit my family every few months in San Jose and I always try to make an appt with Diana. She is a very warm and welcoming soul who really knows what she is doing. I always leave the spa feeling amazing. Another added bonus is it is extremely affordable! I can’t wait for my next appt =)

Diana is amazing. I was having these sudden breakouts on the right side of my face. She found time for me and she took everything out. My skin felt so much better. Of course the bruising and redness came but it’ll go away. I’m happy my face can breathe now.

The owner Diana was super friendly and professional. Upon entering the place gives you a warm feeling with nice furniture, artwork and soothing music. I’ve always had nagging moderate facial acne and Diana gave me great advice for getting rid of it and keeping it from returning. The post facial tea and cookies were also a yummy surprise and nice touch. I would highly recommend Diana and Spa Severino!

I absolutely LOVE this spa. The owner is super sweet, and she made me feel very relaxed and comfortable the entire time. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for spa treatment, or just a day of relaxation. She’s the BEST!

Went in for the monthly special yesterday, great experience! Small but very cute place. Diana was really nice and gentle. Best neck/​shoulder massage and really enjoyed the entire experience. Yep the extractions do hurt, but its so worth it in the end! Buy the bacitraction, helps reduce the inflammation. Tea/​cookies are offered :)

Diana is an amazing skincare professional. I had a great facial with her last month. She was very thorough and my skin was glowing afterward. She does a great job cleaning out the impurities from your skin. Her products feel and smell great and the neck and shoulder massage was exceptional. Her spa is clean, quiet and comforting. She has many special touches to make her customers feel at home. Diana is such a warm, genuine person and I enjoyed talking with her. In addition, she was AMAZINGLY understanding and welcoming after I was stuck in traffic and was very late. I called to just say I couldn’t come but she was so very sweet and insisted I come anyway and she was so understanding. I will definitely be a returning customer!

I am one of Diana’s regular customers. I keep going back there because she does such a wonderful job. I always feel so good after one of her facials. I can’t recommend this spa highly enough. Its just a great place to go to get pampered!

Great experience at Spa Severino! Diana provides excellent customer service and is warm but professional. She doesn’t up sell her products. She provides valuable advice to manage my skin problems. The deep cleanse facial is a fabulous deal.

Just finished a facial session with Diana. Incredible! I didn’t think facials could get any better. I was extremely relaxed the whole time. She’s got the most soothing voice and demeanor about her. The Sothys product line she uses is so gentle and great for sensitive skin like mine. My skin is as smooth as a baby’s bottom. If only Spa Severino was in San Diego.

This is my first true facial and I am so glad to have it done by Diana. Diana’s personality is warm. Since it’s my 1^st facial, she spoke aloud the steps she was taking and answered all of my curious questions.
The neck and shoulder massage was above and beyond my expectations too! In my early twenties I had a mall type of facial done — I guess it was about 30 minutes where the kept everything quick and simple. No steam, no extractions, no TLC! Diana really brings in the TLC. Yes the extractions hurt, but her voice was soothing, and I hope in a few days the blemishes will fade away.
Tip: get your own bottle of Neosporin or triple antibiotic ointment ready before you receive your treatment. Diana specifically recommended I get a tube of Bacitracin Zinc. I picked up one from Walgreens of JUST Bacitracin Zinc because the antibiotic/​Neosporin also contains other active ingredients. I’m unsure if extra active ingredients would be helpful for long-​term breakout treatment.
The treatment room is very quaint, and yes cookies and tea are provided!

If I could give Diana 10 stars I would… I got the deep cleansing facial and it was just that… My face is a bit war torn right now but that’s because she had to get deep into those pores of mine. Diana is a beautiful spirit and I would highly recommend her services to everyone I know.

The experience for this place was rather amazing. What’s more amazing is the service. Diana provided extraordinary service. She was really friendly and that was really something good to hear. So with the deep cleanse process she had for the monthly promotion, she explained the process of it all. Now the good portion was very pleasant, then she gave me a warning to be ready for the extractions. It’s all good till there, but boy, it sure does hurt like no other. After the extraction she provided some skincare tip and she was very knowledgeable and of course I would have expected much.
There is a little downside, but just a minor one. The location is like a little doctor plaza, but it just needed a little bigger sign somewhere around there. Just gotta walk around and find the spa a bit.
Diana is definitely a great esthetician to work with!

Just had a facial with Kelly or Kali. She was amazing! Very personable, accommodating, and knowledgeable. She went above and beyond with her customer service, and I highly appreciate that. I definitely recommend her and this spa!

I have been coming to Diana for about a year now, and have begun bringing my teenage daughter, who loves Diana as well. I have been to higher end places, and they simply do not compare. Diana offers a quality, caring and attentive experience. Spa Severino is super clean, close to home and very reasonably priced. We are loyal fans =)

Spa Severino is a small but cute location, just made for that special single person to come in.
I had a facial done by Kali, who was really sweet and made my experience so lovely. She took really good care of my face because I had some acne and some ugly big pores on my skin. Music and massage was very relaxing, that I almost could have fallen asleep through the soothing touches on my face and shoulders. 75 minutes felt really long, but I loved every minute of it. I liked that this spa provided me some water and snacks. Next day my face started clearing up with less breaking out. I went last week, and currently today my face is totally FLAWLESS and I do not need to wear that much make-​up anymore! Results are great, and customer service is excellent here. I would come back if I need another facial again. Check out their website for their monthly deals :)

New to the area and in desperate need of a facial I have these a try… and I was not disappointed. I have been suffering with skin outbreak for a few months and tried everything from different creams to new make-​up and nothing worked. I had the 75 minute facial with Heather and 2 days later my skin is completely clear and soft!!! She was extremely welcoming and professional. I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a great facial in the area.

My company was graciously given a random Friday off and my first thought was to use that day for myself. Sleep in and treat myself to some pampering. Mani Pedi? Massage? Facial?
I started searching for spas on Unilocal and came across Spa Severino. I called Diana and she promptly called me back letting me know she could fit me in that day!
Diana was so warm and welcoming. Her location is small but perfect! You can tell from walking in that Diana loves her business and her customers.
This was actually my first facial ever and I LOVED it. She did a wonderful job and made me feel so relaxed. Of course the extractions were painful but everything else during the 75 minute facial was amazing. My skin felt wonderful and glowing for days after.
The price definitely is so great and I cannot wait to treat myself to another facial with Diana!

I had to rewrite another review with another 5 stars. You don’t meet many professionals in the beauty industry that truly love what they do; and genuinely cares about their customers. Diana is the real deal. She’s kind, thoughtful, helpful and knows her stuff.
I’ve seen her several times for facials and I continue to be blown away by her energy and skills.
