Specialties
My specialty is to solve behavior problems in a humane way, using the latest information in dog behavior science. I work with young puppies, wild adolescents, shy dogs, fearful dogs, and dogs who lunge and bark at others. My group classes are perfect for basic training; Private Lessons are designed to give you the personal attention you want to meet your training needs, and the Expert Personal Trainer program gives me the chance to apply all my skills and knowledge to training your dog for you. With Stacy’s Wag’N’Train, you’ll love your well-behaved dog!
History
Established in 1996.
After completing a Master’s degree in the psychology of animal behavior and learning, including developing her «chops» as an dolphin trainer, Stacy started her dog training career at the San Francisco Animal Care & Control. She was soon hired by the SF/SPCA to develop their first clicker training classes, paving the way for their world-famous dog trainer’s Academy. Moving to San Jose in 1998, Stacy has quickly developed a reputation for effectively improving dogs’ behavior with positive methods, creative thinking, and classes that incorporate humor and learning for both ends of the leash!
