Dr Cohen and his staff are the greatest team of dental professionals that you’ll ever come across. They are friendly and courteous, and always take great care of me.

I have been going to Dr. Cohen for years, he and his staff are great. He remembers everything that goes on in my life that I share with him and the staff and always ask how it was going in my next visit. His staff is great especially the hygenist, my teeth stain fast and easy, they take their time to remove most or all of the stains. I will not go to another dentist.

We have been going to Dr. Cohen for years now and our experiences have been nothing short of excellent. My oldest son has some anxiety issues, and Dr Cohen was so good with him. We were able to get x-​rays and he was able to do a complete exam. He was very gentle with him was able to talk him through everything that he was doing and it really put my son at ease. Highly recommend him. The office staff is also very nice. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

This review is loooong overdue! I’ve been seeing Dr. Cohen for a few years now and feel so lucky to have him as my dentist! He’s so kind and really genuinely cares for me. The same goes for his staff too! They all have big hearts!
I usually get butterflies in my stomach before seeing the dentist and I gag so easily, so some things are really tough to do on me (x-​rays!!). Dr. Cohen and the staff always try really hard to accommodate me and help me out. They use a little trick with the x-​rays and they try and do them as quickly as possible since they know it’s tough for me.
I’ve had a few cavities filled recently and was pretty nervous about getting the numbing shot and all that. They put some numbing gel on my gums and then I didn’t feel a thing when they did the shot! Not a single thing! In fact, I didn’t feel them doing the fillings either. Was totally bearable, and remember, I gag easily. Dr. Cohen and Audra kept stopping and asking if I was okay or if I needed a break. They really truly have my best interest at heart.
Highly recommend going here! You won’t regret it.

love, love, LOVE Dr. Cohen and his staff! I’ve been going to his office for 10+ years. He is super nice and so very caring to you as an individual. I like him so much that my whole family goes here for their dental needs. Too bad my insurance changed and I can no longer come here, but once I get better insurance I will be back in a flash!

I never had a favorite Dentist before, but now I do. Dr. Cohen is hands down the warmest and nicest Dentist I’ve met. He is one of the nicest people I’ve met. He’s always in a good mood and interested in the health of your teeth. He always asks you how things are going and shows a genuine concern. I had previous work done on my filling from another Dentist, where I could no long put floss in between my teeth and the bite was irregular. Dr. Cohen said he could fix it and he did it right the first time and he’s been doing right every time. I am a big baby when it comes to needles and dental work, but Dr. Cohen just makes me feel at ease and so comfortable. The time passes quickly and it’s always a professional job. Thank you Dr. Cohen. I am a loyal patient and will always return.

This is only my second review on Unilocal — –I was looking up Dr. Cohen’s website for someone, when I noticed the
url for Dr. Cohen, and thought how I should have done this a long time ago (not that he necessarily needs it) – by far he is the best dentist I’ve ever had and there have been many in 50 years. Besides his competency, technique & attention to detail, honesty, compassion & integrity…; he is just a great person with a personality and «chairside manner» to match. The same goes for his stellar staff— This review may seem a bit much, but it well deserved!

This review is long overdue. I’ve been going to Dr. Cohen for a while now and I couldn’t be happier. I don’t have a single complaint about him or his staff. They’re all very good at what they do, super friendly and always accommodating. Over the years I’ve had different dental coverage plans through work that weren’t always that great but Dr. Cohen has always been extremely flexible with me when it comes to payment plans and has never over-​charged me or insisted on a procedure that I didn’t need right away. I also really like the pleasant vibe in the office, everyone always seems happy and upbeat. I don’t really get nervous at the dentist, but I know a lot of people do — so it’s nice to walk in to a warm and welcoming environment where you can tell people actually care about you to put your mind at ease. It’s sort of like a big family there and I can tell Dr. Cohen takes care of his staff — and we all know that happy employees equal great service to customers.
Speaking of great service… Last week, one of my older crowns (done by a previous dentist) fell out while I was flossing. It is sort of on the side, so it was only noticeable when I smiled but I still felt self-​conscious about it. It happened on Friday, and I know their office is closed so I sent a text message to Dr. Cohen asking if there is something I can do to temporarily place it back in to get me through the weekend. He got right back to me and even though it really wasn’t a major emergency, he told me that he wouldn’t mind making arrangements to take care of me that day. He notified Audra who came and met me at the office within a couple hours of my call. She was super nice and pleasant as always which made me feel a lot more comfortable about having to bug her on her day off. I know she was really busy with her family so it really meant a lot to me that she took the time to help me out.
I’ve recommended Dr. Cohen and his team to countless people over the years and I will continue to do so. They’re awesome!

Dr. Cohen has been taking care of my teeth for over 10 years. He also works with my husband and both of my parents. He is friendly, warm, knowledgeable, and gentle. I have always had great experiences with his office. I like his dental hygienists as well. I don’t have any complaints!

Wonderful and incredible! That is how I would describe Dr. Cohen and his staff! They always treated me like family and were very thorough! I recently moved to San Diego and wish I could bring Dr. Cohen and his staff with me, but I’ll share them with the great people of San Jose. :-) Seriously, this is one fantastic man and staff and you will be happy and confident you went to them.

Dr. Cohen is the consumate, compassionate health provider. He is honest and really provides the highest level of care. Plus he’s great with kids and his staff is competent. I couldn’t ask for more from a dentist.

Couldn’t ask for more! Love the staff, esp. Dr. Cohen and hygienist Andrew. My kids started there early on as preschoolers after a rather unpleasant experience with a pediatric dentist. Dr. Cohen sees all ages and he was wonderful with my kiddos. Super patient and caring! He is the dentist for our whole family!

We moved to the Almaden Valley area about 10 years ago and needed a new dentist. A friend recommended Dr. Cohen, Entering the office is an experience in its self. The staff is warm and friendly and everybody know your name. Dr. Cohen comes out and sits with you just to talk and find out how my family and I are doing.
Great place for kids and adults. I don’t take the best care of my teeth but Dr. Cohen and his staff does.
My daughter was terrified of the dentist after a bad experience with a dentist that specialized in pediatric dentistry. This dentist had a cool office, but patient chairside manner was deficient. Dr. Cohen was extremely patient and gentle with her, and after a few visits, she would go to the dentist without apprehension.
You can go to the rest or you can go to the best.

There’s no such thing as ‘perfect’ but if there was… Dr. Cohen, his office, and staff would all get the perfect stamp from me!
I had neglected my teeth for a couple years and was convinced I’d leave with a hefty list of things I would need to have done… BUT that was not the case. No cavaties, yay! I owe that to my good genetics. But I owe Dr. Cohen his patience in answering all of silly questions and also stating that there are no silly questions-​he encourages conversation and dialogue with his patients, this is a huge plus!
I had a series of x-​rays done since it had been so long, and the process was made very easy and comfortable for me.
His approach was very old-​school professional where you feel like you are talking to a very genuine person who is passionate about the business they run and making sure you feel completely comfortable… and again, answering any and all questions with very informative answers. I left feeling very well taken care of! I spent most of the time laughing because Dr. Cohen and staff make it such a lovely, positive experience from the time you walk in, until you leave. We had some great conversation aside from ‘teeth’ about life in general. You can tell that everyone at the office has a genuine interest in getting to know each patient! A huge plus– something that for me seems hard to find these days.
I am going back in a week just for a general cleaning, and no other services were needed at this time– nor did they try to push procedures on me or suggest anything unecessary. Infact I was the one who was looking into possibly having ‘teeth bleaching trays’ made for me and they answered all of my questions regarding this, without once trying to sell me the service or push it on me — how nice!
All in all, a PERFECT experience! I am completely thrilled that I have found a new long-​term dentist for myself, and looking forward to future visits and referring all of my family/​friends to them from here on out!

Best dentist I’ve ever been do! Dr. Cohen and his staff are so friendly and always make me feel welcome and comfortable when I go in.
I’ve been going to Dr. Cohen for about 8 years now and in that time I’ve had a number of cleanings, a tooth pulled and a cavity filled (I think, it’s been awhile: P), and in that time, I’ve only had extremely positive experiences. The work has always been pain-​free, smooth and professional.
Believe it or not, I’m actually looking forward to my next dental visit.

I recently moved to the Almaden Valley area and was looking for a new dentist. I have had a string of bad dentists in the past (last in Los Gatos) who, though nice, were constantly trying to pressure me to do a lot of cosmetic and what seemed like unecessary work.
I immediatey felt at ease entering the suite, very clean, inviting and very friendly staff. Both Dr. Cohen and his assistant were extremely nice and spent time answering all my questions, never making me feel rushed. Dr. Cohen is definitely more of the old-​school type of dentist which is exactly what I was looking for (the newer dentists feel like car salesmen to me… always trying to sell you stuff and much more showy).
On top of that, Dr. Cohen is one funny guy :) Loves to chat, you can just tell he is a people person and cares about his patients as individuals.
I also talked to them about bringing my 16-​month old son in for his first dentist visit in a couple months and they explained they love to have kids and encouraged me to bring him in my next visit so that he could get comfortable with them before his actual apointments. They explain that they do everything they can to entertain the kids and make it a fun experience for them and that there is no pressure if the kid does not cooperate.
I go back for a cleaning in a week and will update my rating if anything changes but I definitely give them 5 stars!

Dr. Cohen is a great dentist and truly makes you feel welcome in his office. He takes his time and you never feel rushed. He made me feel right at home from my very first day. Even when I get a teeth cleaning he makes sure to go into the room and say Hi to see how everything is. His staff is also very friendly. Top notch office!

The dental services provided by Dr. Cohen and his staff have been excellent. Minor procedures such as the occasional filling are performed smoothly and with great attention to patient comfort.
I’ve been a patient for probably a decade or so. I look forward to being a patient for many more years. Highly recommended.
