I wish I was able to have more experiences with Dr Hirai, however his medical assistants are unpleasant and act like road blocks. Frankly, I question the stuffs ethics and conpassion for his patients. One told me to find a new surgeon instead of answering my questions and having the doctor call me back. I know for a fact that she has said this exact thing to other patients. So I took her advice and will be going else where. I hope the dr is aware that his staff is losing him money.

My husband needed a Hernia Repair and we wanted the best Surgeon for him. We went to one Surgeon and my husband didn’t feel comfortable. We live in Fresno and traveled to San Jose after hearing about Dr. Hirai being a great Surgeon. My husband was in a lot of pain when we arrived at his office. Dr. Hirai explained the surgery to Jason and said, he could get him in the next day. The receptionist Christy was very helpful in getting all the paperwork done for us and his follow up appt. scheduled. when we arrived at Regional Medical Center of San Jose the staff and Nurses were so friendly. Dr. Hirai came in before surgery and explained what he was doing again and asked my husband if he had any questions. When surgery was over Dr. Hirai came and talked to me in the waiting room and said everything went great, and asked if I had any questions. He said to call if we had any concerns or any questions. Dr. Hirai called to check on him, and the office called us as well. It been just over 2 weeks and he is healing well. We are so thankful that we found a great Surgeon! We would travel 2 ½ hours if we ever needed to see Dr. Hirai for any type of surgery again! Thank you Dr. Hirai! Jason was in so much pain before surgery and we are so thankful that you were the one to do his surgery!

It has now been 9 months since I had my Gastric Sleeve done by Dr. Hirai. I have now lost a total of 150 lbs. I feel great. I am going to see Dr. Hirai on the 23^rd of this month and I no he is going to be happy for me.
I have to say if you are going to have a weight loss surgery done. You need to make sure your head is in the game too. Because your head can play games with you. Always lesson to your stomach.
Dr Hirai is a great Doctor. I am sooo glad I went to him. Thanks for helping me do a life change Dr. Hirai.

I was recomended to Dr Hirai by my primary care doctor Elizabeth. I was at my heaviest weight and tired of my issues with weight. Depression, anxiety, bad knees, the worst self esteem, after losing and gaining more then 60lbs for more then 20 years, I was at my ending point. I walked into Dr Harai office and really felt comforable, Christy is awesome, she is organized, always with a smile on her face, and very patient, always willing to loan a hand. The staff is just awesome. When I first met Dr Harai, I was instantly impressed, well first off, he is a very handsome man, nice friendly smile, and very young, which made me nervous, I questioned how many sleeve surgeries he’s done and how much experience. HE was more then qualified, after my final approval, I was so nervous, but he always put my worries at ease. My surgery was 10÷15÷13 and thank God, no complications. I am down 62 lbs now and I am so thankful to the Dr and staff for quite literally saving my life. This was the best decision and the hardest one for me. But if it wasnt for Dr Harai, I wouldnt be able to say that I now feel comfortable in my own skin and am now on my way to a new healthier me. I want to thank the staff and Dr and am forever in your debt. I know you were doing your job, but compassion and honesty dont always come with that and when you’re at your most vunerable and miserable, it definetely helps to know there are people that care!!!
