Timothy Gill, Attorney At Law

Well, what can I say? I have not worked with an attorney before on an auto accident but this was not a good experience. It took a year and a half for me to get a few hundred dollars over and above my out of pocket expenses. Lots of work but very little reward. Would I do it again? Never. I would say a waste of time, energy, effort.

I have had the opportunity to work with this office on a couple of occasions. The first time, I was hit while in my car. The person who hit me took off. I thought I did not need representation because I have a very reputable insurance company. It was recommended that I meet with Tim and thank goodness I did. His office took care of everything for me. Apparently my insurance company neglected to their part and make sure my costs were fully covered. The second time I used Tim’s services, I was walking in a parking lot and had fallen in a large pot hole. My body had suffered injuries. The office helped me get the care I needed. I love this office and the service they provide. I would highly recommend this office.

I was road cycling, doing everything correct, when a driver made an unprotected left hand turn in front of me. Police report placed the driver at fault​.Mr. Gill represented me and I received a settlement from the driver’s insurance company. Excellent work on his behalf as well as his staff.

Consultation Review–
Wow… never in my life would I speak to someone whose career is about representing you, yet I felt degraded and low just by speaking to him on a six minute phone consultation. I asked him how to approach my auto-​injury and he claims he has handled 10,000 cases (hmmm…so only 20+ clients chose to write a review?) and that every case is different and he wouldn’t be able to tell me what I think is fair. I asked for his suggestion and he felt as if I wanted «free help.» The previous lawyer we hired on a probate case, was paid $ 14,000 and he gave numerous «free help» to us, This Tim Gill has yet to receive a dime from me and he’s already insulting me? I ignored the Unilocal reviews, as he was recommended by the chiropractor office I went for treatment, which I trusted their judgement as they treated me well. But I hope this a HUGE warning for others, save your time, money and energy and do not consult with Tim Gill.
May god bless your heart, Tim. You’ve taught me to be nicer to people, as you sure weren’t nice.

Timothy Gill is a sleaze ball of an atty. Hez not gonna fight for u. All he wants is ²⁄₃ of your settlement. If you don’t no anything about personal injuries HE WILL rip you off nd his non-​speaking english or spelling staff. TOTAL SLEAZE BALL!!!

Being 23, I don’t have a ton of experience dealing with attorneys or matters that require attorneys. I worked for a chiropractor who referred me to Tim because they had good rapport with him.
Face to face, Tim seems really caring and authentic. His office staff seems incapable. He’s impossible to get ahold of and the office staff doesn’t seem to forward any messages to him. I get it, you’re busy, but I’ve spoken with other lawyers who’ve made time just to give me free advice.
Pertaining specifically to my case and experience, he disclosed information I told him not to with the insurance company and he took advantage of my lack of knowledge. He didn’t fight for better circumstances for me and my situation. In a car accident where I was nearly killed as a passenger, in pretty disappointed that I’m walking with a measly grand when I hear of other accidents that produce thousands. Of course I don’t understand the dynamics of all of that, but something surely seems out of place here.
I have a lot of bitterness regarding this case and this office and specifically Timothy gill. I do not recommend him.

Tim Gill is one of the most ethical and honest attorneys i have met. Through different offices i have worked with over many years, i have come across one or two truly honest attorneys, and many many more who are just in it for the easy work. Tim Gill is on the short list of honest ones. In my experience, he will tell you if you can do it yourself, or if you need him, or if your case isnt strong enough. You can take his opinion and go to another and get a second opinion. Before you judge him and badmouth his reputation, you really should compare his opinion with another. For any accident anyone i know has, i always send them to Tim.

This guy doesnt even deserve one star.
I was In a MVA which wasnt my fault. he said my case wasnt worthy, was risky and made it clear i was not going to get reimbursed for missing work nor get compensation for pain and suffering. so I got up and walked out.
he said he was trying to help me out… yeah right. Scam artist rat.

Timothy Gill has recently aided me in receiving a substantial settlement agreement from an insurance company and I couldn’t have been more grateful. I don’t know where I would have gotten without his help; he is a listener and works to help out his clients in any way he can. Wonderful communication. I would deffinately reccomend his services to anyone who needs a legitimate P.I. Lawyer. Thanks Tim!
I’m new to this Unilocal thing, but in reading some these other negative reviews I feel the need to respond and say a just a few things:
1 don’t bring babies/​children to a professional environment like a lawyers office. It’s not fun for them OR YOU. Don’t get annoyed that a law office didn’t accommodate.
2 If your lawyer needs you to sign something and you are not able to, he SHOULD sign it for you. I’ve spoken to a VERY well known Superior Court Judge who has told me that when he was practicing law, he would NEED to do that for his clients sometimes, before the courthouse closes, before WHATEVER! Its what you WANT to happen even though it may not seem like it.
3 If Tim or any lawyer tells you they can’t help you in a case or it wouldn’t be beneficial at all to fight, then ask him to explain why! Most often times, a reasonable person can understand why a lawyer can’t help; even though you may think you have a case, your lawyer has to convince a jury of strangers of that. And if the likelihood of that happening is slim then maybe you SHOULD reconsider your path to settlement.
And for the record I don’t know which assistant Tim so called «yelled at» over a pen not working but if it was the same girl that I had call me all the time about my case, I would have yelled at her too, dear God. He could use a better assistant IF anything.

I was referred to this practice through my chiropractor when I was rear ended. I initially intended to handle my case myself until I received a call from the other party’s insurance specifically telling me they would probably not be paying all of my medical bills. I wasn’t sure how much my health insurance covered so I panicked and had a consultation with another lawyer who told me to do it myself as I wouldn’t get much and then I met with Tim. He asked me what were my expectations and I told him my honest answer «I just want my medical bills paid for.» He took my case when the other lawyer wouldn’t. I honestly wasn’t looking for any additional money other than to have my medical bills paid for. (To give you an idea of how much debt I would have been in: I was transported by ambulance, taken to the ER, had an MRI done, plus I was going to the chiropractor 2 – 3 times a week, initially). The whole in between period was quite long, especially since I rarely got any updates on what was going on, only the occasional phone call when they needed my help getting paperwork. Trying to get in touch with his assistant was nearly impossible, hence only 4 stars. I started to feel unsure about whether I made the right decision about signing up with an attorney, let alone this particular attorney.. .and lo and behold Tim stepped up and started contacting me himself giving me updates and asking if I had any questions. Shame on me for doubting him in the first place, I wouldn’t of been able to handle this by myself! The end part of this whole process is my happy ending and I sincerely thank him for all his help.

Tim Gill is one of the attorney’s our office uses for personal injury cases. Other attorney’s have fallen off our referral list for a number of negative practices. Tim continues to be at the top of our list for continuing to provide excellent representation to all patients we refer to him. In the 8+ years I have been working with him we have only received one negative response from someone who has worked with him. And to be completely honest, I am not sure that his case would have gone any different with another attorney.
I will continue to highly recommend Tim Gill to anyone in need of a personal injury attorney.

I should have read the reviews before coming here! A friend referred me so I came in after an accident (a steel bar hit my head and shoulders at a doctors office) and I explained in details to Amy over the phone the entire incident. She sounded as if she took copious notes because she would ask me to repeat things so she could get it right. I was a bit annoyed that I had to explain it so slowly but did it because I figured it would save me time later — — boy was I wrong. When I got there another receptionist said he was running late (35 mins) and so she guided me into a room full of boxes and papers and again asked me about the case again… (didn’t I explain it already??). Anyways, when he finally arrives late, he was soooooooo freakin’ rude to me I wish I could give him a negative star. He hadn’t even read my story yet (I called 3 days ago with the details) and he stood there looking at me, annoyed with his receptionist, and half looking at the papers with the picture of the steel bar. He said without even reading the details, «What is this?» I had to explain briefly what happened. I was so annoyed that he never even read it. He treated me like garbage and basically said something like «We can’t even get any money off of this case. It wouldn’t be worth our time. If you wanted to you could ask them to pay your dr. visit but we wouldn’t even take a case like this». I was so freakin annoyed with him. He obviously didn’t know what was going on. As I took my 1 year old in my arms ready to leave. I basically cursed him for wasting my time. He asked if I was seeing a chiropractor and I mentioned I was and he suddenly got real interested. He read the papers quickly and totally changed attitude. «Oh, I saw this picture of a bar sitting on the floor and didn’t know it hit you. I thought it was on the floor and maybe you tripped on it? He suddenly ushered me into his room, called my chiropractor saying he was to represent me, printed out an attorney-​client agreement paperwork for me to sign, yelled at his receptionist for giving him a pen that didn’t work, and then proceeded to pressure me into signing the agreement. I didn’t because my husband told me this morning not to sign anything yet. When I told him I’ll take it home and think about it, he turned up the car salesman pressuring tactics. He wanted me call my husband on the speaker phone or he can’t do any work for me. blah blah. basically i called on my cell and my husband told me to walk away. «We don’t like the pressuring». He called me twice that day and again the following morning to apapologizeor the pressuring tactics and basically kiss my butt and act all nice. What gives? This guy is a sleaze — — I wouldn’t recommend him to any of my friends or fellow Unilocalers!!! Rude, inefficient, wastes your time and is only nice to you if he thinks he can milk your case for money. Also, his office is totally NOT wheelchair or stroller friendly. There’s a ton of stairs to climb. I had to carry my 1 year old and leave the stroller at the bottom of the stairs.

I strongly like timothy gill, they helped me with everything and they were very reasuring and made it very easy for me.

I usually dont write a review on anything; however, i feel like this time, i need to let other people know just so they will not make the same mistake i made. I have to agreed with Steve E. and other Unilocalers who gave him one star. It was horrible working with him. He was alright at first when he first received my case. however, it was almost impossible to contact him later on. basically, i only worked with his assistant. plus, when i called her, she did not even return my call even though i was kindly enough to leave her message after message. my case ended up taking 6 months to settle. and basically after the attorney fee and chiopractor fee, my fee ended up to be negative. I would not recommend him to ANYONE. I wish that I read this review about him before I chose him, but sadly I didnt. I would never work with him if I know about this. Just simply bad experiment. NOT RECOMMENDED!

Tim Gill helped us and about 20 of our friends out a few years back when we had an issue with food eaten at a pizza parlor and we all had to file a lawsuit. He did a fabulous job of getting us through the claim and was very professional in his services.

If I can give this person a negative score I would. Unless you’re a previous client from Gill you will not know the truth about him (yes I’m referring to the Dr. who gave him a 5 star). I agree with all the other responses. RUN AWAY as fast as you can. I had a horrible accident where my car was totaled and was referred to by Warm Springs Chiro (they too are horrible as they referred me to Gill) and they milked me for everything I got. The accident was not even my fault and when I wanted to take it to court Gill said it’s highly unlikely that I will win. Are you kidding me? Well of course not, he and Warm Springs made sure they got their money first before they took care of my case. I even spoke with the person who worked for Gill and he told me personally that he felt sorry for my situation as Gill is not a good lawyer at all and has no morals.

Stay away! Received the settlement copies with one of the pages signed with my full name and date on the liabilities waiver agreement. I never signed this page before! Even if he has a right to act on my behalf, he can’t signed the paper using my full name.

You’ll have better luck finding an attorney who will study your case and fight for you through the county attorney referral system.

This guy doesn’t even deserve one star. He use to have this horrible low budget office and now it looks like he relocated to something better, BUT don’t let the looks fool you. He’s just in it for his money and will not help you with anything at all. During this whole ordeal after a slip in fall, no one saw him but one time. He’s not going to fight for you or help you out. He’s going to take his cut and run. There was a lot of work done on my own and when I handed it to him he did nothing with it. For lack of a better word this guy SUCKS!
