Too funny! The 15 minute statement is quite true and hilarious. Nice guy and services is great but one star off for understated the 15mins. It’s more like 35mins.

Decent waiting area. Nice people. Reasonable prices. Quick too. Call ahead and see if there’s a wait tho. Discount for repeat customers. :-)

Friendly guy who works the shop. But be warned, he’ll tell you that it’ll only take you fifteen minutes till you’re done. I sat in the waiting room (watching Cesar Millan, which that as cool) and listened to him tell at least three people they’d be done in fifteen. They were not. No need to under state the number. So what, we wait, that’s fine, just be honest. Aside from that, everything was good.

Work for truck dealership bring all our cars and trucks here. They are very honest and helpful.

I do not write reviews often but when a shop goes out of their way to do great customer service, I go out of my way to write a review.
Friendly service, clean area, and quick. Price is reasonable and convenient to CSAA where you can get your registration done within minutes!

I have been here 4 times and I’m 3 out of 4 with passing on the first try. 5 stars for being open on a Sunday.

I’ve used this station on several occasions. I have had nothing but good experiences here. It can get busy, however, the past 2 times, I’ve been in and out very quickly. You don’t need an appointment. I’ve always gone in as a walk-​in. The customer service is not the best. The receptionist can sometimes be a little abrupt. I tolerate her lack of customer service training. They accept cash, Visa and Master Card only.
This is the one station to which a DMV representative gave a good recommendation. That’s good enough for me!

Was told to come in within the next 15 minutes if I want FAST service for my BMW. I came in, shop owner accepted a coupon VERBALLY! There is a price list for those scared of being cheated! I was shown previous receipts that verify the price as well! I wouldn’t be on Unilocal giving a good review if I didn’t think this shop deserved a 5-​star rating. I recommend to everyone and will bring my other cars here as well. They deserve the business because they respect the customer, that is my opinion.

Brought my car and was in and out in about 15 minutes. Very friendly staff, nice little waiting area with at TV to keep you entertained, and the price is right. Print out their coupon if you want $ 10 off!
Highly recommended to anyone needing to get their smog check done!

Very rude Vietnamese people to deal with.
They are expensive and throw the credit card while paying it.
I hope good luck to them if they want to continue good customer service in future.
Their certification is pass or fail. Other places give a accurate number of ppm.

TNT would get a good review from me if they hadn’t been a no-​show two times. I made my way over to Green Star instead.

I arrived this morning (Sunday) with no wait, and greeted by a friendly staff. The waiting room was very clean, and TMZ was playing on the screen.
The Aston passes her smog check and all was well.

Gotta watch this place. Went over there during the weekend and failed. Thought about it and I waited 30min. That was enough time to cool the engine a bit. Then they pull my car in without warming up. Paid and was told I failed. Could be Cat, O2 sensor… Or timing??. Never going back!

I went in on a Sunday! Big plus for being open on a Sunday. Smog check was done within 10 – 15 mins!

One of the few places that operates on a Sunday. The place was easy to find and service was quick. I was in and out in under 20 minutes.

Friendly service, reasonable price, open Sundays, and I was in and our relatively quick. What more do you need from a smog check shop?

I brought my Audi to Discount Smog Center on Berryessa to get smogged… wait time wasn’t bad considering there were 3 cars ahead of me… I waited about 15 mins. He brought my car in and I could hear him getting in and out of the car cursing and shaking his head… each time he got in the car he revved it louder and louder. After 10 mins of him cursing and snot-​shotting all over the garage, and revving the sh*t out of my car he says…“I don’t want to do it… I tried 10 times already, your gas pedal is too sensitive”…oooooohhhhh kaaayyyyyy!!!
This guy has done my car before but for some reason he couldn’t do it. I didn’t appreciate his cursing since my 3 year old son was with me… I also didn’t appreciate the revving to redline of my car, and the attitude I was given as if it was my fault that he didn’t know what he was doing.
I ended up taking my car to TNT Smog Test on 914 Commercial St (2mins away)…they charged the same amount, the place was cleaner, friendlier, faster service… they tested my car right away without any issues… never heard my car rev’d to the point that I thought my engine was gonna explode.
Considering that the price is more or less the same and it is very close to Discount Smog… TNT Smog will get my business from now on based on customer service, cleanliness, speed and Technician know how.
Also if you have a lowered vehicle… you will NOT have fun getting in/​out of Discount Smog Center… If you’re slammed take it to TNT.

Managed to show up when they were not busy, had to get a test only smog check, and the coupon was enticing, so I gave them a whirl. In and out in 15 minutes, great guys there. However, I ended up having to go back (left my credit card by mistake) and when I went back there were at least 5 guys waiting in the waiting room, so your mileage may vary.

I called TNT for pricing and the owner told me $ 39.75. When I got there, he added up fees and said it was $ 50. At first I was dissapointed b/​c I asked for the total price out the door. He worked with me on the price and discounted it down to $ 40 total.
The place is on Commercial in a commercial business unit.

I’ve tried many smog places and this is by far my favorite. It’s tucked away on Commercial but is extremely affordable and willing to negotiate.
