STAYAWAY!!! Everything in the hotel is dirty. Floors, bathrooms, bed, bed sheets. They literally don’t want you to stay there long. They will take your money and run. Nothing is clean! So much dirt build up, because they never clean it. Customer service is terrible. Please if you have any concerns for your health, do not stay here. I think I caught something and I want to go to the doctor. Your better off sleeping in your car than here. Beware!!!

Nice place, the old reviews are outdated place is clean and very quiet. WiFi is free and fast I can get a lot of work done here. Danny’s is just across the street n Wendy’s Kitty Corner from it. Its not the best price but sometimes its just worth it. I have been here 4 times now.

I looked up this hotel and found it the cheapest one close to the airport in San Jose on . Luckily the night before, I had a bad hotel experience so I didn’t want to commit to anything again on priceline without seeing it first. Upon arriving to the hotel, it seemed more like a really ghetto apartment complex with children running around playing in the parking lot(who obviously lived there). A good portion of it was also under construction. As my sister and I were getting out of the car to go up to the front desk, we saw the«clerk» coming through the parking lot also and ran into her. I said hello and without even saying hi she waved me to go around to the window, when she was standing 2 feet in front of me. She then proceeded to walk through two rooms in the office and behind a plated glass window. She could have easily answered my questions upon approaching me in the parking lot. I’m a small girl that looks very non-threatening and so is my sister and we were in broad daylight. It was just really strange and done rudely. So anyway, after having a previously bad experience with hotel WIFI the night before when it was very necessary for our travel plans, we asked if we could see a room and check the WIFI. She showed us the room and it was decent – nothing spectacular but it was clean. After that we asked if we could check to make sure the WIFI worked and she wouldn’t give us the password because she said we had to have a room first. We tried explaining to her that booking the room was conditional upon whether the WIFI actually worked or not but she was Indian and apparently didn’t understand(not being prejudice, but she was annoying as fuck and hardly spoke English.) So she said that we could rent the room with cash, check the WIFI and if it didn’t we could get a refund but only if we paid with cash??? This is 2011 and I never carry cash anymore. I was going to have to drive and find a bank, come back, rent the room, check the WIFI and pray it wasn’t all for nothing. We decided to take our business elsewhere, and ended up finding a wonderful place just a few blocks away. It was called the City Center Motel. It was cheaper, the rooms were REALLY spacious, really clean, friendly little family runs it, extremely close to the airport, and she gave us the best room location for WIFI and it worked really well. I suggest taking your business a few blocks away instead of staying at the Travelers Rest Motel.
