Love the car, but I can’t say I love the buying experience. I bought my car from them back in September, and after waiting several weeks for my new plates to come in, I finally called them only to find out that I needed to have the car smogged before they could file for my registration papers. I did that and emailed them copies of the smog certificate. Another month goes by and still nothing. I called again, and apparently Nick forgot about my email and promised that he would get right on it. Several more weeks pass, and I get a phone call saying that I had to go to the DMV and get the VIN # verified before they could process my paperwork. At this point I’m on the verge of driving an unlicensed car because the temporary dealer license is about to expire. So I take 2 hours out of my day to go to the DMV and get the VIN # verified and Nick promised me that he would send me a check for $ 100.00 for all of my troubles. Another 2 weeks go by and I call to find out that my plates just shipped out and «the check was in the mail». The check never arrived and I had to drive an unlicensed vehicle for weeks because it took them almost 4 months to process their DMV paperwork. It tried calling today to see where my $ 100.00 check was, but no answer.

Very friendly and professional thought out the whole buying process. I was able to get the car that I wanted for a reasonable price and get it financed with a credit union at a low rate. They were willing to work around my budget and get me a loan that is affordable. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great deal on a used car!

I purchased my vehicle back in september and still wondering where the damn plates are. The experience was good very friendly and answerd questions but he did say they would have the tags within a month not sure if there going to be mailed to me or im picking them up. its stressful! i call they say they will call me back and never do.

Drove over 40 miles to see a car. No where during the call did the person advise the car was currently unavailable. After reaching the destination the person says «oh it’s not ready. It’s in the shop. I heard about her from the other person. We were supposed to call her to not come down.» That same person tries to convince us to complete paperwork to buy the car before seeing it. I’m not sure who would actually do that. Zero stars.

I’ve had a bad experience with this place, because:
–Unorganized: I had to submit paper work to them constantly because they either misplaced it, or had to change things up, and they took their time faxing over the paper work to the bank, so instead I did it.
–Non-​Registration of my trade-​in: I traded my car in as part of a down payment to them, and months later, i get a registration renewal form from the dmv to register the car, so i called unique auto to ask them to take care of the transfer because the car is still in my name. they said they would, and did not, because months beyond that, i received a parking ticket in my name from the car. i called them asking what is going on, why am i still getting mail in my name related to the car, and the guy said that it shouldnt be that way and that they would take care of it. he said he would text me the address to bring the ticket to one of their addresses and i’m still waiting for that. What the f?
–They cashed my down-​payment checks way in advance of the dates that I post-​dated them for. The reason, because they misunderstood when I called them asking them to cash the first check because the money was available in the bank. How that equated to, go ahead and cash all of my checks, I will never know. I admit they were apologetic and refunded me the money for the other checks because they realized it was an error on their side. that’s probably the only good thing that came about.
–No Returning of phone calls: everytime I’ve called to speak with someone they were not available and the person on the phone always told me they would give them a message to call me and without fail, they never ever called me.
–Down Payment: we were told the down payment would be i believe 3k, but then when we started the paperwork, he slid another 500 on top of that. Wow, that is really shady.
There is more, but I don’t have the time… just trust me that my experience was very poor, and my daughter feels the same way, and the car was for her so she experienced the same crap as me, and will also be writing up her own 1-​star Unilocal review. My alternate, crazy to the point thought is that I think they don’t like Caucasian people, and are trying to screw us over. Who knows what the reason really is, but the main point is that they suck.

Yohan was awesome! He went above and beyond for me. This was my first time going car shopping on my own without my parents. I thought he would try and get over on me especially being a woman, but he was honest and helpful. Great company and great people. I recommend this place to anyone looking to buy a car.

!!BUYER BEWARE!
We bought a Ford Fusion from these people. Long story short, they told me brand new brakes were put on and a few days later my BRAKES FAILED on 87.
Of the 3 weeks I «owned» the vehicle, they had it for 2.5 to do repairs. They tried to place blame on the mechanic shop that supposedly did the work. When I went to the shop, I was told they were never authorized to replace the brakes by the dealership, even though they informed the owner Sam that they were not safe.
During the whole ordeal, the manager who was «helping» me, Yohana, was straight up lying to me about everything. Even caught him in a lie on speakerphone while I was at the mechanic shop. They second time they had my car, They were supposed to have it repainted by a Ford Dealership, which didn’t happen. I even had a written agreement signed by the owner and manager.
Luckily, I hadn’t finalized the loan paperwork so I wasn’t stuck with the deathtrap car that almost killed us. I got my Down payment back and bought a car that’s a million times better from THE CAR LOT IN SALINAS! It even has a WARRANTY! Forget this «as-​is, no warranty» bullshit.
DON’T FALL FOR THEIR SWEET TALK, BULL SHIT ANTICS. THEY ARE ONLY ABOUT THE MONEY WITH NO CONCERN ABOUT THE SAFETY OF THEIR CONSUMERS.

This was the easiest and best car buying experience I have ever had. Tony my salesman went out of his way to help me. Nick in the office worked really hard to get me a really good deal and the owner and other salesman are so nice and courteous. They make you feel comfortable and welcome. I cant say enough good things about this dealership. They stand by the cars they sell and really try to build a good repore with customers so they will come back. I will definitely recommend this dealership to anyone car shopping.

So I just recently bought my car from here! And boy I can tell you they are so welcoming and provided me with all the information I needed to know and took very good care of my cousin and I thank you Yohana for your help!

Sam and Tony were great! My husband got into a car accident, found out the repairs would cost more than the car so we stopped by Unique and found a great deal! I highly recommend this to all those looking for used cars!
