Unleashed by Petco

My very first time at this store and I will be coming here from now on. The prices where great as well as the selection. The manager I believe her name was Jen was so informative. She helped me pick a food for my dog as well as some products.

Have been coming here since we moved to the area back in 2013 and we love them. The customer service is always wonderful. Everyone is approachable and always happy to answer any questions you may have.
Love going through their discount area and bulk treat section. They also engrave tags while you wait which is what I went in for today. The store is on the smaller side however it has everything we need for our dog and cat.

This is my second favorite unleashed location. The first couple times I went, I was not impressed with the customer service. However, the last few times I’ve gone for simple inquiries about bark collars and training classes, the staff has been super helpful!

Everyone has always been super friendly to my dog and me. She gets excited when we pull into the parking lot because she knows exactly where we’re headed.

Poor customer service, at least when I walked into their store one day. I was in there for a good 15 minutes not one clerk or store personnel came up to me to ask me if I needed any help. However, other customers that came inside the store were greeted properly. I don’t mean to sound prejudiced but that’s what I felt like and when I asked the lady a question she seemed really «bothered» by my question. Not going here again!

I’m not usually a big fan of chains but this almost feels like a Mom and Pop. Great selection of high end dog and cat food. They even have small critter stuff at the very back of the store. Which, with seven rats, is usually why I end up there. All the staff are very friendly and keep the store well stocked.

Great customer service with clerks that all own dogs!

I needed to purchase a bag of Castor and Pollux, since it was not on sale at Petsmart. Since I knew they sold it here I drove to the store. I was pleasantly surprised at the sale price, which was 13.99 for a 5lb bag. As I reached for the bag I look at the expiration date, yikes! The bag was about to expire in less than a month. I walked out and went to another store to purchase. Somebody needs to have the staff do a better job of rotating the food.

I think of Unleashed as a sort of pet convenience store: they have *almost* anything that you would need for your pet crammed into a small store that can fit in any shopping center.
They still carry a lot of the major brands of foods and snacks, but hardly anything in bulk. Nevertheless, their prices on what they do carry are still competitive with any other pet food store that i’ve been to.
This isn’t my first choice when i need to go out and purchase food for my animals as i prefer to buy in bulk whenever possible, but in a pinch, this is an a-​ok place to stop to get the necessities.

Went here for the first time a month ago when we adopted a dog. Everyone here was so helpful and knowledgable. I haven’t gone any where else since. Love this place.

I came here out of curiosity. I discovered that it is a like a boutique version of Petco. I give the staff 5 stars because they were very nice and of course I LOVE when other people acknowledge my dog’s cuteness! =)
There were some reasonably priced treats, but like all other pet stores, there were many overpriced items… I’d rather get cute clothes from places like Marshalls etc. b/​c they have waaay better prices. Nonetheless, my dog loved this weird ear shaped raw hide and some bacon and cheese flavored treats… might stop by again.

When I was a kid, my mom would take me on errands. Your usual grocery store, pharmacy, bank routine. If I behaved the whole trip I got a trip to Toys R Us and I could pick out a toy. Well now I do this with my dog. Daisy gets a toy and a treat and maybe some other goodies if she behaves.
I always pop in here after the bank and she goes BANANAS! Its a much smaller store but I think they offer more of a boutique style pet shop here with organic food options, treats, unique toys, pet clothes, leashes, collars, beds, gates, shampoos, conditioners — just about everything to keep a sensitive westie happy.
The staff is super knowledgeable too, I was able to find an alternative treat for Daisy that will keep her tummy happy but still organic and healthy.
If you’re a crazy dog mom like myself, this is a place for you!

If this rating was just for the staff, I would give Unleashed five stars. The staff is friendly and helpful. They seem knowledgeable about the goods sold by the shop. It’s much easier to navigate than the warehouse-​like Petco’s. I like that there are no animals for sale there and they are trying to work with rescue groups. Unfortunately, Petco, the parent company still sells animals. Unleashed stocks the top 50 brands that sell at Petco and include more natural and organic cat and dog foods. The selection for small companion animals was sadly lacking. The rabbit food is ALL junk food or food with seeds which has been know to caused the dreaded GI stasis in rabibits. Seems so out of sync with the rest of the shop. There was not a single normal pelleted food. Hence, the three star rating.

The staff is super friendly. I have been in several times & have always had great service & great attitudes. Love it!

I’ll be honest– This is a review by someone who only is a lover of pets but don’t in fact own any at the moment. The reason why I’ve been in here a few times is because I have friends who do (and a bf that has a dog). So, I’ve strolled in a few times for treats and such.
Every time I’ve visited, the girls have been really friendly and have answered my questions that I’ve had. This is an EXPRESS, meaning they are a smaller version of Petco for when you just need to buy something really quick or it’s just a matter of convenience. Though, they are small I think they have a pretty large selection.
The store itself is well stocked and has always been clean when I’ve visited.

wasn’t particularly impressed. the prices are high. I guess they are going for a more approachable vibe by foregoing the big box store for a homier vibe, but it’s still clearly a corporate chain.
the food is pretty pricey, but they do have a decent selection, of both cat and dog food.
there’s a «snack bar» thingy set up in the front with bulk biscuits and whatnot, like $ 10/​lb.
also in the front is a display of patterned leashes, the kind with adjustible lengths. they were $ 44.99, which i thought was totally excessive. you can get those for $ 20 at walgreens, or $ 10 at big lots down the way a few blocks. granted, not decorated with red and white stars, but still.
they have these little baggies for $ 1 – 2 which they call «dinner and dessert». has a little tiny roll of wet dog food, some doggie cookies and a coupon for $ 5 off a future $ 25 purchase.
i came in looking for a chew toy option for my tiny dog who has a very little mouth. the selection was pretty limited, they had i think one size of kong balls, and some other rubbery stuff, but nothing that looked too promising.
pig ears in bulk are $ 1.49 each. long lasting hooves, which are great for dogs who pulverize other bones in minutes, are also $ 1.49 each, or 3/​$ 3. they are smaller and cleaner than the ones i’ve purchased at the regular petco. so they don’t stink, but dunno if that means the dog would like them less?
cow knuckles are smaller and pricier than when i’ve bought them elsewhere. walgreens sells them for $ 3.50, they are $ 6.99 here.
they do have humane society «visits», which is awesome. the san martin shelter is scheduled to come out july 16^th for 4 hours or so with some animals who need adopting.
pets are welcome, but they have to be on a leash.
i highly recommend the pets and more store in campbell on hamilton if you are looking for informed, healthy and inexpensive options for your pampered pooch.

Noticed Unleashed a few days before it’s grand opening while having lunch a few doors down at Chipotle. Didn’t expect too much since it looked like it was a small store but was quite impressed. This store has quite a selection! I went during lunch but was so indecisive on what to get my two Boxer puppies at home, so I went back after work. The people here are so down to earth and helpful– they’ve got a great team of people working here. On my second visit weeks later, the girl who had helped me recognized me and asked how my Boxers were. The cashier even asked to see pictures of them. I’m all about customer service and this place has it and you can tell they’ve built a good rapport with the people who shop here.
