I loved coming here… however, after my Father’s Day experience this year, they have lost my business and I used to do a lot of breakfast meetings at this location. I have stopped doing that. On Father’s Fay, the kids and I decided to bring their dad(my husband) to breakfast at Whispers. The boys and I came ahead to order so my husband had a few extra minutes to get here. We saw an empty table but when we tried to sit there, we were told by the 2 people already there that they were holding it for their party. It was about 10 chairs. When I went up and asked for another table, I was told I had to first place my order to be seated. So I stood in line for ever and placed my order and had to wait for a table. The large party showed up about ½ hour later and stood in line to order while so many of us had already ordered and had waited and were told seats could not be held and/or orders must first be placed. The servers were very uncomfortable and even the cashier felt awkward when I pointed it out and so did several other customers. It was packed that day and it was a rather unpleasant experience overall with long waits and poor customer service and special treatment for some.

What a great find! Good food and good sized portions. I got the A LA Jack crêpe and had some cheese nachos. They were both really good and they give you so much food so you definitely get your money’s worth. I would definitely come back again to try more of the menu. They also have happy hour. Also a plus is that they are very dog friendly. I had my husky with me since it was my day off and they were so nice and gave him a CLEAN bowl to drink from and poured him ice water. Definitely coming back again :)

We dined here for the first time last Sunday. We came inside and one cashier was taking orders via phone and the other one was using the register to complete an order via online. No one was assisting their customers that were in line. It lasted for at least 2 minutes and then 1 register became available to take orders. They should definitely fix that system. If there is only 2 registers, use 1 register for phone and or online orders and 1 register for people lining up to order thier food. I ordered the Whisper Crepes– This was nummy! As I can remember, it consists of nutella, banana, strawberry, ice cream, and whip cream. so simple but sooo good! I finished it! Boyfriend ordered eggs Benedict with bacon and avocados. Don’t remember the name of the dish but he loved it. He finished it too! This place is cheap, nice location, spacious, and nummy dishes!

Great food and excellent service, friendly staffs. Perfect for anyone who likes egg benedicts and have crepes obsession. Gym is 1 minute away. They thought about everything it seems.

We showed up at 8 am for breakfast, doors locked, employees moving around inside. Waited 15 minutes outside, employees could see us, still nothing. It might be a weekend morning but I’m pretty sure the owners would appreciate it if their staff opened on time!

I might be biased since I’ve been craving a customized omelette but this place has mouthwatering gooey cheesy hot entrees for all three meals in a day. I ordered the Marina omelette for dinner which is a choose your own 4 mix ins option. I got ham, cheddar, mushrooms, and bell peppers. You choose your side dish: house breakfast potatoes, French fries, salad, or fresh fruit. Comes with buttered toast! The potatoes aren’t cut perfectly, gives it a home style feel and they add some lemon juice or curry flavor along with pepper. Piping hot omelette and potatoes! I dug my fork in my food and steam came out. The cheese was perfectly stringy when I pulled away a bite. Sautéed mushrooms, green bell peppers, and generously large diced ham were enveloped in fluffy eggs, the photo does no justice to its filling. My friends got savory crepes and finished them! I had to take half of the omelette home. One friend got the shrimp Alcatraz crêpe with avocado on top while the other got the Texan BBQ with steak. I ordered two whispers crepes to go and they nicely put the vanilla bean ice cream and whipped cream in separate containers. Strawberries, bananas, Nutella, and brown sugar. What’s not to love? I love anything hazelnut. Ella is bright individual! She took our orders at the front and engaged in friendly conversation all the while providing helpful insight on particular dishes and side options. The kind gentleman working the dining floor was nothing short of accommodating as he brought over our food as soon as it was ready and always offered drink refills. All of the staff I encountered were polite and friendly, by the time we left it was already past 9pm and they still wished us well. This place is similar to Crepevine. Breakfast served all day, they’ve got plenty of sandwiches, salads, steak, salmon, fish & chips, a prawn dish, and various entrees too. I’m always too full to get a Whispers crêpe for dine in, such a shame. Oh, you can add Torani syrup to your iced tea for fifty cents extra. I didn’t quite mix the peach syrup completely. Service is fast during the later dinner hours. They’re open until 10pm everyday.

Not too bad for a quick bite to eat. I liked their Philly and their savory crêpe was ok but nothing to really write home about. I think crepevine is much better. Their customer service was really good though. This guy was really nice and even made sure to follow up during my dinner to make sure everything was ok. Only tip I have is if you’re meeting someone here for lunch/dinner prepare to spend 10mins or so looking for parking in the area. Esp around lunch/dinner hours. There wasn’t a wait in any of the restaurants but deff hard to find parking.

Nice gathering spot. It’s becoming a regular place for the women’s group of South Bay Church to meet(lots of laughing) Easy for groups Variety of menu Pay at the register as individual or group Sit together as a group(they will put tables together) Nice patio area if you like a little sun with your crepes. Happy hour In all the times I’ve come, I’ve never had«plain» crepes. Tried the Crepes Stack and loved it(but really what’s not to like? Crepes, powder sugar & strawberries!) Mmmm… The only things on my wish list: I wish there weren’t so many TVs, why do we have to be inundated by TV all the time, everywhere we go? What happened to going out because you want to socialize? A place that size should have more than 1 bathroom.

This place is great. I love that it’s open until 10! The service has been really good both times I came. First I tried a sweet crêpe, the Whispers with no bananas that came with ice cream and whipped cream. It was amazing! Probably the best I’ve had. The second time, I tried a savory crêpe for the first time ever, the Alcatraz which was also very good. The fries on the side were perfect. My friend and I got the chicken tenders to share, we both agreed they were delicious. I have a feeling anything I order here will be great. The people who worked there while I’ve been there have been so helpful and patient. Wish I’d gotten their names. I’ll definitely be back!

I was excited when I this place first opened, I thought this is just what the area needs– a strip club! You can imagine the dismay when I find out later that it’s not a strip club, but creperie with a very provocative name lol. The cashier lady didn’t appreciate me «making it rain» with dollar bills, but whatever! Well let me clarify, it’s not just a creperie, they also serve alcohol! and also their food is delicious! I’ve been here many times with co-workers, and have never been disappointed. I have only tried their savory crepes and I absolutely love them. Right now, I’m at that stage where I’m just ordering the same thing– The Alcatraz with panfried potatoes and a mimosa(bc I’m fancy like that). All in all, always a good experience here; friendly service and great food– much better than any strip club I’ve ever been to.

So I came here this week for it being my second time with Aarize D. and this time around it was much better than last time I came. Maybe because it was in the evening time and it wasn’t busy? I don’t know, but I really liked it. I ordered the Whisper Crêpe. It comes with bananas, strawberries, Nutella, cinnamon, and brown sugar. I didn’t taste much of the brown sugar, but everything else was there. Oh and it came with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream. It was pretty big too. I think you could share it with two people. I enjoyed it. The crêpe wasn’t over done. The fruits were good, like not over ripe and not under. The service was also great too. We had our waters filled up and we were checked on a couple of times. They even took our plates away when were done. So we weren’t talking to each other with dirty plates in front of us. Now I would come back again! Good job Whispers for changing my review of you! :D

Just ate a whispers for the first time today and I was not impressed. I tried to order a Nutella Belgian Waffle, but the girl at the count told me that they don’t make it anymore. They still make Belgian Waffles and there was stacks of Nutella Jars on the counter by the kitchen… why can’t they make it anymore? She suggested the Nutella Crêpe(which by the way has all the same ingredients as the Nutella Belgian waffle except for the waffle) so I ordered that instead. For $ 10 there was barely anything on my plate! I ended up having to eat some of my boyfriends food because I was still hungry. You’re better off going to banana crêpe in Japan town. It costs about the same, but you get large portions. My boyfriend got the French toast. The serving size wasnt that great either. You’re better off going to ihop, larger portions for around the same price. This place is way too overpriced for the amount of food that you get. There’s nothing in their dishes that really sets them apart from other restaurants. The employees don’t even look like they want to be there.

I love their friendly service and great portion of the food. Is a Diner place, but you order and pay prior to seating. Food portion is great, and I love the Omelet Bacon. Breakfast is available all day, and I order breakfast for dinner on Friday. Dinner time is not crowded, and don’t feel like rushing. Crepes is one of their speciality, and I got t try it next time. Great food and great place for all day breakfast. Lots better than iHop base on the price, portion, and quality of the food.

I ordered Kari crêpe, which is curry flavored chicken. It was good! I was surprised that it was sweet though, but it’s a pleasant surprise. Sweet and savory! You order and pay in the front, and they give you a number. Then you find a seat. They have waiters that will give you utensils and water later. The staff was pleasant and ambiance is casual. I think it is a good brunch place to go to. No long lines like Bill’s café.

The food was great, came out in a reasonable time. I would’ve given this place 5 stars but the manager was SO rude about outside food. He came over to attack my friend on eating outside food. He didn’t even ask nicely. He kept watching us & my friend wanted to him to come over to talk to us professionally, so she took her food out again. He stormed over and told us to get out of his restaurant. First of all we bought a crêpe to eat, it’s not like we just ate other food at his restaurant & not only was he unprofessional, he made it known that he didn’t care if we ever wanted to come back or not. We definitely will not be going back there. On the other hand, the cashier and crew there were way nicer. They greeted us with friendly smiles and apologized about their manager’s outburst.

Walked in and immediately thought«whoa, this place looks exactly like crepevine!» The menu design looks exactly like it but of course the food is different. You come in order, get a table, they give you a number then bring the food to you. Workers were really nice and helpful since it was my first time there. You can order dessert when you order your food and they’ll bring it out to you after you finish your food. I got the pesto sandwich, the spinach salad with steak strips, and the whispers crêpe. The spinach salad was especially delicious! Could have done it without the steak, the steak was ok. Whispers crêpe had bananas, strawberries, Nutella, and ice cream. They also have happy hour and a variety of different juices and food. Came during a Sunday evening and the place was pretty much empty. Would definitely come back for the salad!

We’ve been here a few times before and been quite impressed with the food and service. However, we went in this last week for lunch, and service was slow as molasses, and the food was not a tasty as we’re used to here. Our crêpe was crispy from being overcooked, and our potatoes were cut too large, so they were undercooked in the middle. Eggs were good. French toast was only dipped on one side in egg, and very dry. Coffee was very strong, and burnt, and took about 10 minutes to come out after ordering. Our food took quite a while to come out also, even though they weren’t that busy. There was no line when we ordered, and food still took about 25 minutes to come out, and we ordered our crêpe to come out after our breakfasts. We finished breakfast meals, waiting 5 – 10 minutes for our plates to be cleared, and then waiting another 10 minutes for the crêpe to come out. This is a bit disappointing. The people working were quite nice, but out table had no ketchup, no jam, and no sugar. We waited and waited to find someone to ask for them, before going up and grabbing them ourselves. When we did go to grab them, a guy up front said, «Next time just ask someone to bring it to you.» Well, we’d love to, if we could find someone. Overall, we were quite disappointed in the experience this last visit. With that said, we have been here 2 – 3 times on the weekends, and had a much better experience all of those times, with quick friendly service and tasty food. I’m not quite willing to give up on this place, but definitely think they are stronger on the weekends and definitely won’t be going out of my way to come here again.

(: Boba– Foodaholic Says :) My order: Whisper + Bayside + Orange Juice I have been to Whispers located in downtown SJ. It was really good service and food, which I happened to be close to this location. So why not try this location since it is probably the same. This place is located around other restaurants inside some kind of mall. Don’t worry about finding a parking spot, there is a lot! When we walked-in, there was a line which we had to line up in order to order. The downtown place do a student discount, however, this place doesn’t(what a upsetting). Then we ordered Whisper and Bayside. The orange juice was over priced with no refills, which was disappointing as well. 1) Whisper: Strawberries, banans, nutella chocolate, cinnamon and brown sugar. It was the best crêpe that I ever tasted in my life. The crêpe was perfectly chewy and right amount of batter. But the strawberry was too sour, so I could’t eat at all. However, with banana + Nutella chocolate + whipped cream + ice cream made it perfect taste, which I loved it. 2) Bayside: Apple sausage, scramble egg, potatoes, and french toasts. The sausage was too overcooked, which made it hard to eat because the outside became too hard. Everything was just okay.

Gotta bump to five stars. Been here once a week since we first visited this place. The service here never fails and the food is always yummy. Great for when you’re not in the mood for anything specific since they have a wide breadth of foods on the menu. Although not Crepevine, it’s a great substitute. Outside seating during the summer is also the cherry on top of the sundae.

Was looking for a place for lunch and came to this plaza. This place looked interesting, and I expected it to be a crêpe place only, but their menu was extensive with sandwiches, breakfast, and crepes! However, I wanted to try their crepes, thinking this is what they are known for. Ordered at the front, my friend with a BBQ crêpe, and I went with the Tetrazzini crêpe after some thinking since there were so many options! Prices are really fair, and you get a choice of their potatoes or french fries. Grab a number and then a table, which there is plenty of seating inside and outside. Our food quickly arrived and it was a heaping plate of salad, fries, and a big old crêpe! Loved the flavors of onions, mushrooms, pesto, cheese and chicken in my crêpe, but the only con of both our crepes was the meat was on the dry side. Fries were decent and they have ranch, although its a little bland. Appreciated the surprise side of salad as it was good to add some more veggies. Their house potatoes are probably worth passing on. Overall, great place, and I’ll be back to try their sandwiches as well!
