I’ve been here about 10 times since moving to Willow Glen 3 years ago. I came back for the sandwiches which are pretty good(not amazing). However, the service has been so consistently awful that I will not be going back. They are rude and impatient. It’s just not worth it. Local options for great sandwiches with better service: Ike’s Mr. Pickles La Villa Spread

Two stars only because the meats are OK, but the combination of them in sandwiches are not so good. Service was a disaster. I don’t know how is it possible to screw up 4 sandwiches at the same time. Ladies who make sandwiches and takes orders were not pleasant at all. I like happy people cooking food for me, so food tastes delicious and experience is pleasant. No restroom, no AC.

San Jose — Willow Glen, Highway 280. * Fellow Unilocaler John D. approved! * The Rollie which is tri-tip and BBQ sauce — with«everything». Also, I requested Pepper jack cheese and chipotle sauce. Got this idea after checking the out Triple By-Pass. * Tip ask for the staff to warm up the tri-tip so it’s tender. * Conclusion a straight up 5 outta 5 — Wow this is an awesome sandwich. Let’s just call it the Super Rollie moving forward ha! * On TOP of this ridiculous sandwich this is a meat market after all. * Nice meat counter with various marinades and regular cuts of meat, frozen area with exotic meats, and a Fantastic selection of in house prepared Jerky! A really cool spot, a few tables to grub within and a couple tables outside too. * The staff(young ladies) very helpful taking into consideration my first visit. * Jeff the owner must have heard me admiring his hunting photos and introduced himself. Seems to be a super down to earth and cool guy. Also, noticed a Unilocalers pic of his son with Jeff, guess they’ve been coming since the kid was a baby. That’s really awesome — to be able to grow up with a place like this. Setting the bar high!

Im going keep this short and simple. I have never been a fan of sandwiches. But hoolly crap. This place made me crave sandwiches all the time now. All their sandwiches are flavorful, meaty, and HUGE. Ever since I tried this place I just keep coming back.

This place is in a neighbor-HOOD of Willow Glen. Same menu as Los Gatos meats for the most part. They make a great sandwich! I usually get the smoked turkey with smoked cheddar and smoked bacon. It’s a good sandwich. A bit pricey — but that’s cuz the meat is so good.

Triple bypass best sandwich hands down. They sell marinated and smoked meats and fish. Also tried their beef jerky which is good and my dog loves their pig ears. Good customer service.

Terrible service today. As an avid outdoorsman I love this place. Went in with my wife and daughter and ordered two sandwiches. 30 minutes later I asked for a refund. They had not even started making the sandwiches. The gal at the counter was very rude!

I came here Bc of good reviews and wanted a really good sandwich. When I got there it looked so shabby and was in a worse part of willow glen area. It was run down inside and all the customers looked like truck drivers which didn’t make it a place you want to stay and eat LOL. There is a table of guys waiting around and me and another customer get our orders taken. This cashier/sandwich maker girl then goes to make 3 sandwiches. I ended up needing a third sandwich and kept looking over at her but she wouldn’t look at me. After 5 minutes I finally said in the most normal and polite tone«I’d like to order another sandwich«this girl looks at me and with attitude says«yea I’m not doing making these sandwiches yet I’ll take your order after» I said to her oh okay I was just letting you know(thinking she was working on my sandwiches already) and she goes«YEA» so it then takes her 15 minutes to make 3 sandwiches wtf? She hands them out then starts to make my order. In the middle of making my order she notices two guys at counter. She stops making my order to help these guys when she wouldn’t stop for my request. It took her a total of 25 minutes to make my 3 sandwiches I don’t know what her problem was but she must be miserable working in a dump like that. Good sandwiches tho

This place has some really good meat and sandwiches. As far as their sandwiches go, they are all pretty big, flavorful and worth the ten(ish) dollar price tag. The super hero is one of my favorites with Tritip, bacon, avocado, cheddar cheese, and BBQ sauce on dutch crunch is the way to go. On the butcher side they have a bunch of great cuts of steak and they will carry other types of meat from rabbit and venison to lamb or alligator. They also have jerky, fresh sausages and ground meats of thats the type of things you are looking for. And if you are a hunter they will break down deer and pig if you dont feel like doing it yourself.

I’ve been coming here for years. It is definitely a beautiful sanctuary for carnivores and sandwich lovers. The sandwiches are great and don’t skimp on anything. Its definitely a small spot with about only 3 tables inside. You have the option of ordering beforehand but during the lunch rush expect for it to be a 30min wait. I love perusing the store to look at the other meats that they carry. I really like to pick up some of their bacon and beef jerky. I’ve bought some of their deli meats too but I found it to kinda not be worth it. The pastrami I bought was super salty.

This is where I go when I want some quality meats, want to splurge myself, or impress folks. From the butcher side, I LOVE their split chicken. My husband and I buy a few whenever we go camping and they taste SO juicy and delicious. Everyone we make it for always rave about them. Our favorite is the teriyaki. The garlic is good, too. I bought the beef ribs once and my husband grilled it at home. It was delicious. Maybe not the easiest thing for camping though. Their porterhouse steaks are top notch. We’ve bought them unseasoned and seasoned. All are great. On the deli side, their sandwiches are on point! Great prices for quality sandwiches. They don’t skimp on the meats. I’ve gotten The Quad many times. SO good. SOOOO filling. I only eat it half at a time. Their customer service is always courteous. Happy to continue giving them my business.

I had to try this place. Thanks Unilocalers! Your reviews were on point. I had to try the triple bypass based on a review. OMG this is two meals in one. The bacon and pulled pork and triton avacado pepperocini bbq sauce cheese. Totally over the top goodness.

I used the Leapset app to order for pick up. $ 5 off your first order :) I ordered the Superhero(tritip, bacon, avocado, cheddar cheese, bbq sauce) + the works on dutch crunch. It was flavorful. The bread wasn’t as crunchy as dutch crunch is supposed to be though. I asked for extra pickles, but none to be found :( Small store, small parking lot. The cashier wasn’t too friendly either.

Wow, this might just be my new favorite sandwich spot in the Bay Area! I finally got a chance to try this place last Friday when my company bought us sandwiches for lunch. I didn’t exactly get to visit the shop myself, so this review is strictly on the sandwich. I ordered the Super Hero(Tri Tip with BBQ Sauce, Cheddar Cheese, on Dutch Crunch) although I replaced the Cheddar Cheese with Pepper Jack Cheese. It also comes with onions and had a slice of pickle on the side. I kind of wished they mentioned that there will be choppped inions within the sandwiches on the menu though. Because I do not like onions. But anyways, the sandwich still tasted ah-mazing! It was packed with meat and was super flavorful. I love it! Also, we bought some of their jerky to try out. Jerky there is sold at $ 12.95 per lb. Personally, I did not really like it. It tasted okay, but it was too hard and quite bland for my taste. Overall, their sandwiches at this place is delicious! It’s my new go-to spot if I ever crave sandwiches. This is a must try!!!

Where has this hidden gem been most of my life! The sandwhiches here are amazing and their meat selections are to perfection. My buddy and I decided to come here for lunch and we were not disappointed! The location of the restraurant is in the corner and you take the brown door, not the one with their # on top of it. Their triple bypass was one of the greatest sandwhiches I had in a long while. The meats were juicy and each with different flavors that overpowered the sandwhich to perfection! The smoked tukey was great too, not dry and definitely full of flavor. Would definitely come back to here for lunch to try other sandwhiches.

Too awesome! Went here for lunch around noon. The parking lot had plenty of parking and the shop itself wasn’t too crowded. I had the Jackie special, which has smoked turkey, cheese and bacon, as well as avocado. You can choose what you want on it, including the type of bread. The sandwich was incredibly delicious and came out to be about $ 8. Very affordable, and I can’t wait to come back for another sandwich — or to try some of their jerky or smoked goods. There are a few tables if you want to eat your food there, but the to-go process is pretty efficient too.

I found the reviews on Unilocal to be super positive, so I dragged two of my friends with me to go try it out one weekend. IT’S REALLYGOODANDCHEAPFORTHEAMAZINGQUALITYYOUGET. It’s perfect for meat lovers such as myself, really filling, and just full of anything you’d ever want in a sub. I can’t remember what I got but it had beef, avocado, some sauce, and was one of their popular ones(I asked the cashier for recommendations hehe)

I like how it doesn’t get as busy like some other sandwich joints. Maybe it’s the time I usually visit, or maybe because they are located in a quiet neighborhood. I like how their menu is simple. Traditional meat choices are offered, but they also have ten Signature Smokehouse specialties available… with names like Triple Bypass. I like how their sandwiches are meaty. Well, they do specialize in meat! These sandwiches are also equipped with fresh ingredients. Pickle on the side is a plus too! I like how they are their own meat source. Perfectly smoked meats come out of this meat market daily. Their seasonings and sauces, the aroma, and quality meats(including legit Tri-Tip) set these guys a part from other sandwich joints. This is my go-to local place for pastrami. I usually order the AJ… pastrami, bacon, avocado, and pepper jack on dutch crunch. The Crazy Turkey is calling out to me, but it’s really hard to break the pastrami addiction.
