Capistrano Tire & Brake

I had my truck at the Ford Dealership down the road and the dealership recommended a repair to fix 8 broken connections for my spark plugs which amounted to $ 1280 (insert painful crying sound) after I had just spent money on a tune up to change the spark plugs out.
Something just didn’t seem right so I went for a second opinion… GOOD THING!
Josh and Allan were going to do the same repair with the same parts for $ 400 less
Obviously I was stoked but it got better.

When Allan diagnosed the problem it ended up just being 1 loose connection that required no parts and minimal labor
He fixed it so quickly he decided not even to charge me!
My future business has been earned!

A small leak turned out to be unsafe. Guys replaced my tire under their warranty for free. Always been treated right here.

These guys were great. Friendly and quick. We dropped off both our cars at the same time for oil changes. One needed a little extra work and they were both ready for pick up within a couple hours for a good price. I’ll definitely go back.

I went there to have a flat repaired. They were dishonest, and tried to sell me a tire I did not need.

I stopped in early this morning & inquired about a smog check, I mentioned that I had just replaced the battery & they checked (before doing the test) that the sensors were ok to test. Very nice.
They took my car right in & thank goodness, my car passed.
At time of payment my bank card was acting up & I didn’t quite have the correct amount of cash — he very nicely said «that’s fine» & accepted what I had.
This kind of service is why I always try to support my local business rather than big box stores. Service matters!

This place has the worst customer service ever, especially for a so called manager! My mom got her alignment here and it didn’t come out right. My mom’s boyfriend took the car back and when it came time to readjust the alignment, the radiator hose broke. The guy who was assisting us was actually helpful and showed concern for the hose breaking. Then steps in the manager with the most rude attitude I have ever witnessed from someone in charge. He basically belittled my mom’s boyfriend and I feel it is because he was Hispanic. He rushed him to decide on what he wanted to do about the repair, he stated that it was not his fault that my mom’s car was old and insinuated that was the reason why the hose broke. I’ve never felt so discriminated in an actual place of business!

Do not get your car smogged here!
Because I believed these guys to be reliable, I did not ask how much it would cost to smog my car.
They charged me $ 73.00.
I then called around (a little too late) only to confirm 4 other companies of similar size charged $ 43.00.
It is my fault for not asking, it is their fault charging outrageous fees.
Unfortunately, they have lost me as customer.

I’ve been bringing my car here for 5 years now and trust them with all my car needs. They are very quick and honest. They show me all the parts that needs to be replaced before they do any work. I’ve taken my car to the dealership for a tuneup and they told me that I needed almost $ 1300 worth of work. Of course I told them that I needed a second opinion and brought it here. They told me that I needed half of the items listed and paid roughly $ 400.

Josh is the type of auto repair representative that we ALL look for & hope we find wgen one needs auto fair & honest auto repairs!
I now have a honest mechanic I can have peace of mind when I need service for all my vehicles.

16 years I have been bringing my three vehicles here. I TRUST these guys to do only the repair I need. And they are friendly and polite. Javier sees that things go well, and he is backed up by Josh and Daniel. I don’t know the owner/​frachisee, but he has a good staff.

We recently moved to the area. I have always taken my car to the dealership but the dealerships down here are far more expensive. A friend recommended this place to me and they gave me a much better price. Later that evening it was brought to my attention that my headlights were out, both of them. I called because they said they had reset them when I picked them up. I called them and they told me to bring it in. Not only did they take me immediately but when they found out the problem was that the bulbs had just burned out, they replaced them! I will definitely be coming back and referring people here.

terrible service and overprice on parts. i would never go back. there was a job done that i never requested. they done some service that was done by other mechanic one week before and parts that was brand new. be careful.

They did everything great here. Brakes were not outrageous and they didn’t come to me saying…” Well you know you should do this …” Thanks for Doing what’s asked, and not taking advantage of people. Highly recommend

Will never go back. They have screwed up on my car 3 times now. They say it only happens to my car??? This last time changed my oil and oil was leaking out not just a small amount… they admitted it was there fault oil gasket valve not put on correctly or who really knows. I don’t believe them anymore. I gave them 3 chances. My engine could of been ruined. The manager and assitant manager are nice but that does not cut it anymore for me. I wouldn’t let them touch my car again even if they said they will give me another free oil change the last one could of caused great damage. When they did my breaks they put the wrong part on and I gave them a 2^nd chance. Then got my oil changed and it was smoking and smelled like something was burning they told me some oil might of gotten on the engine. Well the amount of smoke coming inside the car was just not oil on the engine. Took it in and they said it was fine. Still smoking after two weeks took it again the manager said no this is not good that is to much smoke. So then he said my valve gaskets were leaking after someone on a Saturday told me they put a wrong oil filter in. He said they didn’t know what they were talking about. they were just reading to me the notes in the computer. Well then I had the valves fixed he said they would do it for 120.00 to help me out. Then last weekend with the oil change and it leaking oil in my garage was not small drops but a puddle. The admitted it was there fault. I am so DONE WITH THIS PLACE. All they can do is say Sorry and I don’t even feel like they mean it. Even if they said they will give me work for free I WILL NEVER LET THEM TOUCH MY CAR AGAIN!!!

have been coming here for years, and have had satisfactory service, but this time they really screwed up… and sadly expressed no regret fro the error/​poor service. That I guess is what makes this worthy of writing. as this is unacceptable.
Stopped in day before to order a tire replacement tire from nail puncture. We wanted to make sure we were safe for our trip; we planned to leave early next morning right after voting to Vegas to meet friends for a birthday celebration (which we missed, TY!)
They told they would order it and it would arrive no later than 10. and they would call me upon arrival (later than we desired, but still OK) I had to call them, and only then was I told it would not be til 1130. Not very happy, because it sounded as though it had totally been forgotten, and the service rep actually told me if I was in hurry to go to Costco! but that seemed like even more hassle, since the tire had been ordered (right?) so waited and went by at 11:20… only to find out that again it would be delayed and then they call to find out now not until ‘around’ 1 PM and he seemed bothered and surprised at my being upset. Had we known there would be further delay, we WOULD have gone to Costco (like he suggested to get us off his roster, I guess) and been on our way to Vegas. At this point Im very upset having wasted my time and gas and ruined our plans for dinner, as well as not once getting an apology. We did go to Costco and they were able to get it on the car within an hour… unfortunately it still threw off our whole schedule and could have been avoided entirely, and probably forgiven, had he owned up to his mistake. We will not be going back or recommending any further.

What can I say about this place, Its one of the best All-​In-​One shops Iv EVER been to. Thats a lot for me to say, since iv been to SEVERAL places and especially since this is considered a «chain» store. You name it they do everything. Raul, (lead guy or manager) is very courteous and really knows his stuff. will give you perfect diagnosis in a timely manner of your car and will give you many options on how to go about fixing it… and the prices are on point, cant beat them. This place is almost like a mom and pop shop but with the goodyear name.
I would definitely recommend this shop to anyone. Weather you have small regular maintenance issues, like an oil change or a serious, my car just died, situation. These guys can and will handle it… Very trustworthy place 5 stars…
