The hand breaded chicken tenders were surprisingly very good. The All Natural burger is okay. Stick with the chicken.

I used the drive-thu on a morning before court, ordered a breakfast burrito, I handed my debit card to the cashier at the window, he comes back after 6 minutes saying that my card was declined!!! Whaaat??? I pay cash. Later that night, I check my card on the computer and not only did my card NOT decline, this man had the gull to charge my card TWICE!!! Moral of the story, I paid THREETIMES for this breakfast burrito. Yea, real deal. Boo!!!

This review is based on my Drive-thru experience. Monday, 10/12/2015. I was returning Monday night from Disneyland’s Halloween Party with the worst allergy attack. Luckily, I found a place in the park that sold Benadryl. It took a while, but my symptoms subsided a bit. Ok, what does this have to do with Carl’s Jr… I’m getting there, don’t worry. So, the benadryl left me foggy and drowsy. I had to still drive down to San Diego and I was falling asleep. I decided to pull into Carl’s and order a sandwich. I don’t normally get fast food, sorry, but i don’t believe food should come out of a window. I was desperate, I couldn’t afford hurting myself or others if I fell asleep behind the wheel. I’m not sure if they were about to close, from my view in the window everything behind the counter looked clean and organized. I ordered a chicken sandwich and hoped it wouldn’t be sloppily thrown together. The cashier, was pleasant and patient with my benadryl stuppor. Moments later, I am given my sandwich and on my merry way. I’m a foodie and have worked in the restaurant industry for years, even though I couldn’t «see» what I was eating, I can tell that the line cook took his time and used the freshest ingredients. I can’t tell you the last time I actually had cold iceberg lettuce crunch in a fast food sandwich. I can also tell it was perfectly balanced because I was eating with my right hand and steering with my left. Not one bit of the sandwich fell on me. Thank you for doing what you do, you helped me get home safe and I had a delicious chicken sandwich in the process!

I personally do not like Carl’s Jr but I like their shakes which are pretty good. The Western Bacon is pretty good if you’re on a low budget.

My favorite fast-food burger… The burger here is absolutely delicious and is my fast food favorite. But the service at this location was so slow that we almost left without our meals. Could understand if they were busy, but there were only three customers there at the time. One customer in the drive thru lane was so angry that she got out of her car, started pounding on the window and was yelling at the girls inside. The place was dark and dirty, and could use a deep cleaning.

Food was OK, it’s Carl’s. However the service is terrible. Between the counter girl with no personality or a friendly greeting, then the old Mexican woman delivering food to the tables. She speaks no English along with other workers. Couldn’t wait to eat and get out of there.

Okay, have to give credit when it’s due. Armando, the new Manager… well he’s done a really good job at improving things at the Carl’s on Pico in San Clemente! Good job Armando. We thank you. :)

Horrendous. We ordered fried zucchini and a big chicken filet sandwich. In the bag, we got some chicken tenders and some fried zucchini that had the raw batter inside still. Zucchini was inedible. Disgusting

Best thing about Carls Jr. is that you can get any sandwich on a lettuce wrap. OK, I’m biased there, but the second best thing, and this is pretty much solid, is that they have Diet Dr. Pepper. So, you know, that’s pretty good, right? And then they have pretty good fries, but if you’re like me and you don’t eat french fries, you can substitute a salad for like 30 cents more and still get the combo price, and be all low-carb fast fooding. Dude, I lost so much weight eating those freaking cheeseburgers and grilled chicken sammiches. Oh, and I got this Happy Star android app, where you check in and get prizes. So far all my prizes have been french fries, so that didn’t work out so good. But the kids like the fries, so OK.
