I was greeted with a smile, then I was asked what I wanted to drink. The waitress brought me a menu, chips and salsa, and my drink. They brought my order right away! I ordered El Molcagete with beef, sausage, nopales, grilled onions, grilled jalapeño, cheese, topped with salsa, and fresh corn tortillas. It was the Bomb! Amazing, tasty, I was speechless. I will definitely be back! The food & service was wonderful, very clean. Definitely will recommend to all my Family and Friends!

I work at the Grooming shop two doors down and I come here at least once a week. I’m am in love with the carne asada tacos! The lady/owner is so so sweet and remembers what I order every time. Very clean and well kept. Thanks El Cpyotito!

It’s hot in the summer — no a/c — but worth it for a friendly blue collar Mexican lunch. The three times I have been here I had the wet steak burrito and Horchata. Very few bites are the chewy beef fat — they use the whole steak. I go here for lunch when I do volunteer work at the nearby grade school. The parking lot is full of contractor trucks. I believe it is cash only. Looks like a cash only place. A funny mural of two club babes on a beach covers the back wall.

This place was awful! My angustinos looked liked they were cooked days ago and so did my pork carnitas… I have no idea where the other reviews were coming from. Also, my to go order took over 30 minutes. There were fruit flies flying around in the warmer where they keep the rice and beans. The kitchen looked filthy. I am not sure this place would pass a health department inspection. Go across the street to El Campeon.

This place is a hidden treasure! We searched for it because it was recommended to us and it is a great find. The place is very clean and the service is very amicable. The menu is basically seafood, but I had the carnitas which were delicious and they are served with hand made corn tortillas! This alone is a selling point. Tortillas like mom used to make! Highly recommend this place.

If you love mexican seafood this is the place. They list 7 seafood soups on their menu. They have non seafood items too, but seafood looks like their speciality. They hand make the corn tortillas they served with our dinner, which is the main reason I’ll go back, plus I need to try the mojarra frita. I tried the Shrimp Soup, my friends had the carnitas and fish tacos. We all thought our dishes were the best. It helps if you speak some spanish here, the waitress was more comfortable in spanish which wasn’t an issue with us but my gringo friend was the one who recommended this place and I wonder how he managed? But if you want good food and have fingers you could point your way through the menu!

Food is great and on weekends they have a buffet where they offer Mexican Chocolate and pan dulce. Workers were nice. Only reason no 5 stars is because an old guy flirted with me who claimed to be the owner… I later found out he was the father of the owner. Food is great though!

Really good Mexican food in a real Mexican restaurant with honest Mexican character. Their mole is fresh and bright — not heavy or burned. The carnitas is way tasty — fresh and really tastes like pork — not generic meat product. All the flavors are distinct. The portion sizes are big enough to hurt you. The salsa is fresh and has a little bite to it. The menu is a little difficult to navigate, but I think it adds to the charm. Come in with an idea of what you want to eat and they’ll send you home happy. Watch the PennySaver for their coupon!
