Soooo… you are now under a different business name working under a different contractors license. Why did you loose your licence?

I contacted Michael Johnson about a small HVAC system for our condo in laguna beach. There are 3 levels so it is quite complicated. Mr. Johnson was responsive, prompt and very knowledgeable about our needs. They recommended a «split system» for our condo which is perfect! Thank you Michael Johnson HVAC. I would recommend this heating and air company to anyone and will definitely use them for all future needs.

A few months ago, during the heatwave, our A/​C went out. I had a mailer from this place and had them come out. The tech looked at the unit for about 10 minutes and walked back in holding a part from my A/​C saying it was bad. He stated that the part was $ 350, and that he had one with him. My total bill came out to $ 450. He was literally here for less than 30 minutes.
After It turns out that part was a capacitor and costs about $ 30-​$ 40.

Earlier this month, Hassinger Comfort Services came to my house due to my approx 25 year old HVAC system breathing its last breath.
The guys diagnosed my old HVAC system trouble (too many troubles to write here), removed existing furnace, evaporator & condensing unit and installed a high efficiency York furnace, matching high efficiency coil, and York high efficiency condensing unit.
From the start to the finish Hassinger Comfort Services was amazing. Not only did they come out quickly to diagnose the old unit, but they walked me through all the potential solutions to getting me an HVAC system that not only worked, but worked well for my family.
The reason I went with the highest efficiency units (95.5% AFUE for furnace, and 16.0 SEER/13.0 EER for condensing unit) is two-​fold: 1) We use the heater a lot in the winter (even in So Cal) and we figured that over the life of the unit that we would save some money on utilities, and 2) The cost difference really wasn’t that much compared to the base units.
I’ve never had service from a company before where ALL of the employees were so meticulous and have such pride in their work; I would expect it from the owner Mark, but it really says something when each of his employees share his passion for excellent customer service. I look forward to working with this company for many years to come (but hopefully I won’t need to since the York HVAC systems are supposed to be really good).

Rep came out and quoted $ 3450 to replace a heater.
When we refused to do it because of price he insisted on trying to have me sign his work order to bill me for his time. I made him leave.
A few days later I received a statement showing a balance due of $ 180.
I called Seaside Heating and Air and they came over immediately and installed a brand new unit for $ 2500. They also had someone clean my ducts the next day. The guy was very thorough and spend several hours going through the entire system.

When it came time to replace my aging heating and air conditioning system this past spring, a friend suggested that I call Mark Hassinger. If I wanted the lowest bidder, I would have gone somewhere else. But for a bid with everything spelled out and the job done right, Hassinger Heating and Air Conditioning was the place to go. I wanted to have the new condensing unit on the side of the house instead of the rear, and Mark came up with a way to do it so that it would be visually appealing as well as functional. His crew was very professional to deal with, and every day (this was about a week long job) they left the house as clean as it was the beginning of the day. Included in the price were a couple of followup visits to fine tune the air flow between the various rooms. If you want the job done cheap, go somewhere else, but if you want it done right, go to Mark!
