Just picked this randomly after hearing good things online. We were pleasantly surprised. This is a locals place with great flavors. Definitely worth follow up lunches in the future.

By far the worst Mexican restaurant in Southern California. Their prices are very high for what you get. The free aqua fresca you get with checking in on Unilocal is a joke. They only have one or two choices, not everything that’s on the board, and the cup is full to the top with ice, so you probably end up with two to four ounces. I got a California burrito. It consisted of about a half a pound of rice one tiny pinch of cheese, one tiny spoon full of guacamole, one spoonful of meat, 6 french fries, and that is all. That was for $ 7.50, including tax. When I returned it because it was the most pathetic burrito I had ever seen, he first said he would not give me a refund but you would make me another one. Considering it took 10 minutes to get the first one. I told him I did not want another one, I wanted to leave. He then ignored me for a while I stood there and waited he then took 679 out of the drawer and gave me that. I said what about the tax? He said you took a bite out of it, that is your tax. I said taking a bite does not count as tax. He then said you’re free chips are your text. I said I ordered a bunch of other food that doesn’t count as tax. He just plain refused to give me back the full amount. I will never be back here again, and neither should you. As many other people say on Unilocal if I could give it zero stars, I would. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.

The food here is soooo delicious. We have been to all the restaurants in town, but the food here is really flavorful. Portions are large so leftovers are normal. Pricing is very reasonable. If you order to go you can have one of their beers on tap. The young lady behind the counter is very helpful with a great attitude. We will continue to order our take-out from this nice little local place.

One of my favorite Mexican fast food restaurants. Very reasonable prices. The tacos al pastor are deliciosos! The frijoles to die for. Recommend big time.

Tried to order shrimp enchiladas and the cashier(girl with glasses) said they do not and have not ever had shrimp enchiladas. We pointed out that enchiladas de camarones is on their menu board and their to go menu and she said«yeah, but you can’t order it because it’s not on the register.» When we suggested they take it off the menu so people wouldn’t try to order it, she said in a rude voice, «Thanks for the advice,» and took the menu away from us.

Chips are great, the red salsa is super good and packs a lot of heat. I have had the carnitas burrito 3 times and it is very good. This place is a bit tired but the food is good and I will keep coming back. They have a bunch of fruit shakes and juices that are super good too.

We were in town to see the Mission and by 2 pm we were starving. Rolled into Taqueros to find good music on the stereo and a soccer game on the TV. The place is tucked into a little plaza and was pretty busy for a weekday afternoon. You order at the counter and then wait for your food. We had the carnitas plate and the pork al pastor and stuffed ourselves silly. There’s a salsa bar with pickled radishes and carrots, yay. Only downside is that they don’t have Mexican Coke a bottle, bummer. On our way out we saw a guy getting his order of an entire fried up whole fish and wished we were hungry enough to order one — it looked that good. This place is the real deal and rivals any taqueria I’ve eaten at during the years I lived in California.

This is my second time here. The first time we came for the excellent Groupon savings. The second time we came for the excellent food. This is a small place but actually has ample seating. I would give it 5stars but there is no soda fountain, they sell their drinks by the can.

The first time I came here I loved it. But today the service was sub par and they overcharged me. I ordered 10 tacos and I asked for three small bags of chips and then he told me he would have to charge me extra. Needless to say I won’t be returning without a Groupon.

I love Mexican food and am very picky about it. These guys make everything well, from the chips and beans to the Chile Verde. Rolled tacos with guacamole and chicken nachos are the bomb. You gotta eat here, I’m serious!

Went here bec of groupon. Ordered a nacho burrito for my brother which was pretty awesome. The chips inside were still crunchy and the carne asada was flavorful. I ordered their protein bowl which was very fresh. The romaine lettuce and all the veggies were fresh. Beans were great but chicken needed a little bit more seasoning. We also got the guacamole. Very fresh but a little salty. The chips are freshly made as well but a little greasy. Ordered the menudo, perfectly hot but needed a little salt. All in all, not bad but there’s other places around SJC that are better.

I went here the other day and I really enjoyed my time. The atmosphere was very welcoming. It just a small place and a didn’t expect anything much. Just a quick stop as was passing through coming back from San Diego. I ordered 2 chicken and cheese enchiladas and they came out better then i expected. Next time I pass through I will absolutely stop by again. Its great people and better food. Highly recommend for a quick easy Mexican food kind of day.

My favorite Mexican Restaurant. I love this place. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food. This is the place. Everything I have tried I loved. The taquitos, sopes, chilaquiles, beans. And they have the best salsas. The place is clean, excellent service and the food delicious. I eat there frequently and I have never been disappointed.

I came in here for the first time after Maria Isabel sold hoping it was as good as them and i was really disappointed! I ordered 2 California burritos to go that took over 35 minutes! The burritos had ingredients that weren’t suppose to be on there according to their menu. They were so cold and small. For the amount i paid, i was hoping for a bigger and more filling burrito. Overall, the food was horrible. That was the first and the last time i will ever go in there again.

I stopped in Taqueros hoping to ride out the awful traffic that was plaguing my commute home, and I’m glad I did! I got to discover a new little gem. This place opened a couple of weeks ago, and business seems to be good– the place was pretty full. You order at the cash, grab your number and have a seat while your food is prepared. The tabletops are decorated with Mexican tile, the walls are brightly painted and the music is lively. Service was friendly, and the food was good, albeit a little spicy for me(I had the camarones rancheros). I’ll go back next time I’m in the area.
