Tokyomods

I get all of my work done by Tokyo Mods and I know that I will never let any other shop touch my bikes. I refer everyone I know to Tokyo because I know they know what they are doing and are honest about it all.
Here’s my story:
I purchased my first bike, an older RMZ 250. The bike would literally just pour oil out of a tube every time I started it until I turned it off. I took it around to local shops to see what I needed to do and I think they all could tell I didn’t know squat about this stuff because without touching my bike they all said I needed a full complete top and bottom rebuild and would have to spend all this money blah blah blah. A friend of mine told me to try taking it to Tokyo Mods. So I did and boy lemme tell you! They asked what the issue was and told me what they thought was causing it. I left the bike there and a couple hours later they called me and told me that the piston rings were expanded and gave me the price. I am so so so relieved I didn’t give in to the other shops and pay all of that money for a pointless rebuild. My bike has been running like a charm for over a year now, and I keep going back to Tokyo Mods for maintenance, tires and any parts I need and I know that when the time comes i will be bringing it to Tokyo Mods for the rebuild!
Here’s a couple of Recommendations!
1. Highly recommend the Carb Mod! It’s a must have if you have a carbureted bike so worth it.
2. When you visit the shop, check out the back. The walls have a sick graffiti design on them and the mechanic stations are always clean. It really reflects the quality workmanship you get there.

Great shop! Had an ignition issue with an old KLR 600, they found an aftermarket solution (OEM no longer available) and got the bike running great. Good customer service and quick turn-​around. Highly recommend!

Just wanted to write an update. I received my bike back from Tokyomods and loved it. They were still not happy with a slight hesitation around the 5,000 RMP range and asked that I bring it back as they wanted try a few other jets in the bike. I took it in today and they had the bike DONE in less than four hours (along with an oil change). How many places call the customer to tell them that «we are not happy with the way the bike runs» even though the cusomer was fine? I’ll answer that. NONE. These guys are not happy until THEY are happy which means perfection. I can’t say enough good about this shop. They have my business for life.

Great quality of workmanship. I had a motor and transmission rebuilt for a 04 CRF450. The bike was faster and had more torq than it did when it was brand new. My bike has been in there several times since then for other modifications since then. Great people to work with. Always a fast turn around time getting my bike back.

Ron has worked on my bikes since 2002 when he was still at Honda. His magic is worth every penny… Carb mod is a must for any bike.

The guys at Tokyomods are outstanding! I moved to SoCal from the Seattle area about a year ago and have had to find new shops and people to do my race service and bike prep with. I stumbled upon TokyoMods through a recommendation from a friend and am SO grateful that I did. I race supermoto with a 2008 KTM 450 SMR that had a major engine failure and needed some quick and professional help. They tore the engine down, found the problems, put it back together perfectly and handed me a turn key bike that I went out and won all of my races with that very next weekend. They did this all in a very timely and professional manner. What else could I ask for?
The price was well worth the outstanding work they did for me. I can not possibly tell you how happy I am that the bike is still running flawlessly and winning trophies everytime I take it out to the track.
You can hunt around and find better prices, but I can pretty much guarantee that you will not find a better value than the guys at Tokyomods. They ROCK!
I have test ridden many other bikes that have had the Tokyomods carb, head, and engine work done to them and the bikes all revved to the moon and pulled hard the entire way. If you want a great bike that is delivering the best possible performance, you need to call these guys.
I will be bringing every bike I race here for service for as long as I live in SoCal.

Wow this place rocks they can do anything like the factory race teams and more and work on any type of motorcycle or atv or anything with a motor they shoot it out of the park place is super clean and prices r great on race gas and any parts and so on

got my crf450 ecu remapped. i mailed it in monday, got it back wednesday. I live near lax. I really love the results, the bike feels much happier. I ride/​race socal track only. Definitely lived up to their reputation in my book! thanks guys!

Did what they said they were going to do for the price they told me. Also got the job done early. Nice people. I will go back.
