B & J Tires and Wheels

The shop looks like an old school tire shop from the 50’s.
I bought a used tire for $ 40 and it took less than 5 minutes!
He’s got all the fancy machines to de rim, remount and calibrate the tire.
I guess it would of taken longer if I took the car in but I’m not total idiot, I can put it on myself… plus, I got to make it look like I can earn my keep around the house to my wife!

This place is a pre ripe off! Every one is always looking for something that is not so costly but effective, however this place needs to be close first they make you think you are getting a good reliable tire that doesn’t have do much wear on it. The minute you drive away from this devils hole you began to have problems. Until they have gotten fed up from seeing you come in with complaints about the tire they sold you this fucked tire is your problem not mine. I would never refere anyone to this place us I have contacted the better business bureau about this place people work hard and is not nice when you get greedy sorry ass that are not privileged to be in the U.S.

I came in 4 days ago with a nail in my tire and the manager, Leo, sold me a used tire. The next morning, while in San Jose, I noticed that it seemed to be leaking.
When I got back to the East Bay today, I stopped in and asked them to test it. They did and found a leak. Leo told me he charges $ 15 to patch leaks and If I’d come in the next day, he wouldn’t have charged me for it. But he would give me a break (since he knew I just bought the tire) and only charge me $ 10 to patch it.
I told him the tire had been leaking since I got it and asked if he would comp the repair. He refused. I asked him to split the «patching» fee with me and charge $ 7.50. He refused. He said if I didn’t want to pay $ 10, they would put the (leaking) tire back on my car and I could take it elsewhere.
So let’s recap:
1) While they should probably test used tires (and patch them) before selling them, they won’t always do that.
2) They WILL sell you defective tires.
3) They WILL charge you to repair anything that you accept from them.
This is a shop where they pride themselves on making a profit and won’t care if you don’t like how they do it.
Buyer, don’t just beware, buy ELSEWHERE.
