East bay hand center is a low budget worker’s comp claim patient center located in a rough and dreary part of san leandro. Its a hard place to find because there is no sign outside that indicates the name of this sh&thole. Its a shabby building full of quack doctors like rude, unprofessional dr. Stank I mean dr. Stein who for 10 torturous minutes hit me with barrage of questions, treated me with suspicion and a hint of distain. He was nothing short of a jerk who did not examime my wrist but rather type up his lame report on his lame computer. Don’t waste your time here. Go to a real, respectable doctor who genuinely cares about your needs.

I saw Dr. Stien after I injured my finger playing football. I thought I just had a sprain, but he did an xray(instant results) and showed me that it was pretty fractured. He explained how usually surgeries aren’t necessary on fingers, but in my case, since it was rather extreme, surgery would be a good option. He stressed that since I waited so long(10 days), I needed to have it ASAP, and he booked me for the first surgery the following morning. The surgery was quick and successful. My finger is now back to 100%(it has been about 4 months), and I’m very grateful he was my doctor. I have read many, MANY, people complain that after a finger surgery, their fingers are permanently stiff. Mine recovered perfectly. Dr. Stien tells it to you like it is, and I appreciate that.
