Stopped by for lunch. We had cheese burger, fries and a drink. Service was fast and food was good.

To the cilities dirty the ladies room the prices are sky high the hamburgers are totally greasy like the grill has never been cleaned. There’s really nothing good I can say about this facility from the employees to the food to the atmosphere to the price and the dirt

Will never go to this place again. I work around the corner from this place and I drive by there almost every day. I’ve always wonder if they were a hidden secret that not too many people knew about. Turns out I was wrong, I ordered a double stacker burger combo without pickles and onions. When I got my burger I checked it out and it looked like a regular burger so I took a second closer look at it. Turns out the patties are pretty thin so they looked like one but there were two, and it had pickles. I paid $ 10.22 for it and it was not worth even half. Don’t go to this place, not worth it. Not good tasting, small portion of fries, bad attitude from workers, and too pricey. If you are ever in the area and crave a burger with fries, go to GIANTBURGERONDOOLITLEDR. You will not be disappointed, this place is the real deal. Great burgers, killer chilly cheese dog, all their food is delicious and worth every penny. Hope this helps someone.

This place is disgusting if you are hungry and think about eating here DONTDOIT go somewhere else in the area it isn’t worth the money. I ordered a boss burger meal and after waiting 30 mins for my order I get it with a bandaid inside(a bloody one mind you) I went back up to the counter to get my money back because I lost my appetite . I wouldn’t recommend anyone here.

Love the old-school, dinery feel of the place. Very family-oriented and see lots of elderly who come and reminisce their childhood :) Nothing beats the ice cream here! Burgers are pretty good as well — the Boss burger and the Turkey burger are my favorite!

Food is okay. Its not bad, but its pretty pricey. You can get a burger just as good at in n out for a quarter of the price. A medium milkshake and original cheeseburger set me back $ 11.

Okay, so I previously said there was some sort of «special sauce» they put in the Double Decker(my favorite item on the menu) to make it tasty and I just asked. They put thousand island on it to make it tasty! Lol, so nothing special after all. But the speed in which the food comes out has improved. Maybe that’s why the taste wasn’t as flavorful as usual, but they can still make a decent burger. Their«staff» of rotating high school students is always changing as well, so maybe it would help to keep someone around long enough to know the technique to cook the food other than just the owners, who look exhausted all the time! :( Still, a solid three stars that hasn’t changed.

This review is based solely on their ice cream twisters. I’ve had their burger a looooooooong time ago and can’t recall how it tasted so I can’t include it in this review. My boyfriend and I were craving something sweet and have been going to Loard’s way too much so we decided to come here for ice cream. Since he enjoys their twisters, we ordered a regular size to share. For a regular size oreo twister with chocolate ice cream and snickers, it was over $ 5. I thought this was very expensive considering that it’s soft-serve ice cream rather than actual ice cream. Not to mention the small portion. Does anyone else remember those Blizzard ice cream cups that snack bars and ice cream trucks used to sell? Those used to be $ 1 and were 2/3rds the size of this regular twister! I was very disappointed with the ice cream twister. First off, never ever get snickers in your ice cream here… It tasted stale and the caramel freezes so that it’s putting your jaw into overdrive just to chew. The oreo was good but honestly, I didn’t find many oreo pieces in the twister. Either my boyfriend was eating it all or they just didn’t put enough in so that the ratio of oreo to ice cream was poor. Lastly, the ice cream itself tasted weird to me. It had such a pungent sour aftertaste that I couldn’t eat more than a few bites. My boyfriend, on the other hand, thinks I’m crazy since he didn’t taste any sourness at all. He actually enjoyed the twister, minus the snickers. Based on the ice cream twister alone, I would have rated Foster’s Freeze 1 star. I’m giving it 2 stars only because I know that their burgers/fries are good, if not decent. The workers weren’t very friendly but I didn’t mind too much since I didn’t order an actual meal. Even so, I won’t be coming here again for a very long time.

nice service from an older korean guy. gentle prodding on upgrading my order, wasn’t pissed when i said no. eats: hot dog(3.59) –smaller then caspar’s –condiments of onions, pickles, mustard, diced tomatos in warm bun. –not so fulfilling. 3 stars crumbs: –vanilla cone here is higher priced than in alameda. –large parking lot. –quick service.

No matter how good the burgers or how sweet the Asian couple behind the counter are, I cannot swallow my food anymore after I’ve seen them handle food then money then food without gloves nor washing their hands. MULTIPLETIMES. And I’ve seen the types of hands on the types of people who hand over their money here. «Why did you come here multiple times if you claim you can’t eat the food?» Because I tag along with very gross friends. If you don’t care about this health violation then by all means eat here and good luck with your butt.

I was absolutely nowhere nearby. But I’d already driven far out of my way and figured an extra half hour detour wouldn’t matter after I polished off a vanilla ice cream chocolate dipped cone. I ordered at the patio window, danced in the breeze a bit, and picked up my cone after a few moments. About halfway through, I started wondering about the nutritional value of the chocolate shell stuff but then let that thought drift off when I realized that I’d forgone the small order of fries that usually enjoy with this. Ah… healthy choices. Glad this place is still here.

I went to this place every weekend when i was a child with my dad and brothers. I remember i got a soda corn dog and onion rings They were very good. My dad bought their parfeits, I loved their parfeits. I hadn’t been here in years so a few months ago i decided to try it again. The food was ok. But they were expensive. It feels like they’ve gone higher and higher. I purchased a parfeti i think it was oreo, a ice cream cone, a dr pepper, onion rings and a corn dog It came to like 15.00 which was a waste. The place looks stuck in time. I really hate to see this place fall but like the many people below. Where are the custamers Overall the service was good i would recommend this place for ice cream. I haven’t been back in a while so yea give it a try. The good sides good food, service and ice cream delicious bad sides expensive, parking terrible.

PHUCK ! I hate to write this because i love me a dipped cone but I went in a couple of weeks ago with my cousin and we saw one of those unsightly bugs walking about… you know the ones I am talking about the ones that no on wants around their food. He freaked and left his food there and we split. This place needs to be cleaned like pronto. Maybe a good scrub down and some fresh paint will and a visit from the Orkin man will give it the face lift it needs.

Ive driven past this Foster Freeze for years and I finally stopped here. Its an Old School Burger Joint and its Family Owned. When I approached the Walk Up Window I noticed a Father and Son team working the Grill and the Counter. I ordered an Old Fashion ¼ Pound Cheeseburger and a Peanut Butter Shake. I received my Burger and Shake 11 Mins Later. That was a Hearty Old School Burger and the Shake was Simply YUMMY.

(from September of 2008) I hope I don’t make a habit of this, writing up a place from a restaurant chain, but I do enjoy this particular Foster’s Freeze. This is the only one I have ever been to, this is probably the only one that I will ever go to — voluntarily. The thing is, this Foster’s is owned by a Korean guy. I don’t know what the stereotype is about Korean chefs, but this burger artist is actually really skillful. He likes to arrange everything in the burger just right, so that when you bite into it, you’d hit all the insides every time: lettuce, onions, cheese, and good old beef. The Korean guy is generally happy, and if you ever go, ask him to make a Boss burger. It’s his master-piece.
