Hesperian 100% Hand Carwash

Love this place, I’ve been here for my last 3 washes plus I brought my BF and his truck a couple times. we always buy a Groupon so we only pay $ 20 for the Platinum wash. Only down fall is the wait time. There is always tons of ppl, line be out the lot and down the street. But hey, what can u expect from a good car wash place.

My wife brought our car to Hesperian Car Wash. She called me to tell me that THEY locked keys in car. They pushed it through car wash area and my wife paid for car wash, not realizing until it came out that door was locked. I went there with extra key and talked to manager. I asked if this wash would be free and he said «we dont give free car washes». He said this happens all the time and he offered to break into the car. The car is about 6 months old so my wife declined. I further explained that this was totally their fault, and it inconvenienced me and my wife. He said he could give me some off on next car wash. I told him why would I ever come back, and his reply was «well your just one customer». THE WORST STATEMENT YOU CAN MAKE TO A CUSTOMER, especially when the business was at fault. The manager was smug and uncaring. He gave me excuses like –I wasn’t here when it happened, and we could have got door open.
I will never go back here and would give zero stars if possible. I see some other customer service issues from other Unilocal reviews so I would avoid this business, plenty of good car wash places around.

Outstanding job eveytime! They are time efficient, but most of all they make sure that your car is spotless. Leather treatment for 90 bucks is not bad.

My husband and I came here to get my car washed since my hair salon is nearby. He figured he’d do that while I got my haircut. Unfortunately, we were in a rush so we didn’t get the check the car out before we pulled away.
We got home and noticed a huge scratch on my hood. And it was deep! So furious. I have to look at this scratch every day and it drives me absolutely insane. I do not want to go back here ever. I can’t believe they did that and no body had the nerve to tell us. AND they still took a tip from my husband. Going to stick to washing my own car at home!

I’ve staked out many car washes in this corridor of the east bay and this hands down the best. They take their time and I’m always satistfied. Feels like your rolling out of the place with a new car each time. Because they take their time with your car wait can be long. I highly recommend coming in the morning.

Very disappointed with my visit to Hesperian 100% Car Wash. The car wash itself was actually very good. I purchased the «Silver Wash» for $ 19.99 which includes a hand car wash, vacuum, air freshener, window cleaning. My car came out looking very clean –inside and out.
However, I gave ³⁄₅ stars because the management seriously needs to invest in their waiting room. It is located in a gas station with grimy floors, depressing fluorescent lighting, and a single, hard-​wooden bench which is the only option for customers to sit while waiting for their car to be washed.
I won’t be back, but if you don’t mind an unwelcoming waiting room then this place could be a good option for you.

The bathrooms are so gross that going there will make you wish you wore Pull-​Ups.
I’m guessing this is the closest you can get to the Third World without a passport.
Before you even get into the bathroom you have to pass the troll (employee? customer? other?) snoring in a chair in the corner.
I will spare you the details of the conditions behind the bathroom door because lots of Unilocalers are online looking for restaurants — and trust me, if you saw this bathroom you would lose your lunch.
The car wash itself is good. The employees are friendly but it is pricey and takes a long time.
Just use the bathroom before you leave home.

I came here on a Saturday. Came here because my car needed a wash and wanted somewhere near. Right when I pull in, there were a guy that accommodate me, giving me direction on how to proceed. Although it was pack, there were a lot of worker and they work very fast. You see your car being wash and clean so you know they doing a good job.

When I like something I’m loyal. So far these guys do great work with very reasonable pricing. I used to go to car wash High street but once I tried these guys out I’ve been impressed. Great staff, great work and quick.

I went to this car wash a couple years ago because I got a deal on Groupon. It was great then and it’s still great now. My girlfriend and I were heading to the area a few weeks ago and she coincidentally needed a car wash. I told her about H100%HC and she was sold after hearing how much I raved about it.
There’s usually a line so long it creates traffic on the main road. Don’t let that fool you. The staff is extremely efficient. I counted 17 cars ahead of us. It took about 45 minutes (less than 3 min/​car) from end-​of-​the-​line to a clean car. Not only are they quick but their attention to detail is better than almost every other car wash I’ve ever experienced. Every spot, every inch, every single nook and cranny is soaked, soaped, washed and wiped. They do an excellent job at cleaning your dashboard and vacuuming your floors.
It’s a little misleading because it’s not exactly a 100% hand car wash. They start by vacuuming your floors then they run your car through a car wash you typically see at gas stations. It’s after that they start scrubbing and cleaning with their hands. Not a bad thing because the results are great!

Usually a wash my own car kind of guy, but due to the drought I can’t really do that anymore. Brought plenty of cars here for a car wash and always thought it was pretty good. Recently brought a white car here and then realized that their jobs are actually really bad. The other cars just hide it well. While I was sitting in my car while they wash, I noticed the guy didn’t even wash my right mirror! There were tons of spots everywhere. Even the moonroof was dirty! The wheels were still filthy in different spots
This place is only good if you’re looking to get your cars dirt/​dust off. If you’re looking for a top notch car wash, this is not the place for you.

I brought my 98 Volvo in today for a full Interior detail car wash and exterior hand wax. All for $ 150.00. (Originally $ 170some like that idk, but they try to meet my budget) :)
I was really not sure about spending 150 for a car wash, but my car really needed some deep cleaning! I Didn’t knew if it was going to be worth the waiting time, and money. They took around 2hrs & ½. When I picked it up I was in shock! It looked like a brand new car! The carpet looked marvelous! And the plastic was all shinny and clean. The exterior was alright, I noticed some white dusty looking spots and hand prints, but I ain’t tripping since they gave me a discount.
I was really satisfied I had to tip them 20 $.

saw all those reviews complaining the place damaging their cars worried me a little but i still have the expired voucher from living social so i went anyways. got the platinum service for 29.99, paid the differ’ence, and told the guy specifically to watch out not to scratch anything since my car is brand new.
i must say i am very impressed by the job they’ve done. see the attached picture and you’ll know why.

Purchased the a La Carte Engine Bay cleaning hoping to clean up the residual dust left from some body work that was done on my car. Price as quoted from the website was $ 99.99 and comes with the Premium Car Wash package.
The job: They first vacuumed the carpets and upholstery, but they did not (or forgot) to vacuum the trunk. The wash itself was decent. Nothing more than a quick spray of water from the machine and a lather of soap. While in the wash tunnel, they also clean the engine bay. This is what the two star rating is based on. They popped the hood, hosed the engine bay with water, and in no more than two minutes, wiped it with a wet rag (not even sure if there were any cleaning agents on the said rag.) I would expect this type of work for maybe 30 dollars (the included platinum package,) but I could have saved the extra 70 dollars, grabbed my garden hose and microfiber cloth and did the same myself. The drying process came after with a wheel dressing. Both were done by hand and again was just decent.
Overall this place is overpriced for anything other than the basic package. Even then, a machine wash might be the better option as the rags used were not the cleanest.

Purchased manager’s special today — buy 3 get 1 car wash free. I couldn’t use any of the other special offers (platinum wash $ 29.99 — $ 3 for Unilocal check-​in or groupon deal, etc) as I only need the silver wash. The owner was nice enough to the manager’s special when bought on the spot for yesterday’s car wash! With the special each car wash comes down to $ 15 which I think is a great deal.
My car was the cleanest ever! The guy wiped my car for at least 25 mins, each time finding another dirty spot when he wanted to reach for the keys to return the car. I think this is the best car wash in the area that charges fairly. This was my 2^nd time and I will keep coming back as its close and the manager’s special makes it all worth it!

I was highly satisfied with my experience here. Not even the grumpy young girl working the register could mess up my great experience.
I’ve been telling everyone about how good the ladies and gentleman at this car wash cleaned my car.
I got the gold package — it was $ 23 and some change.
To be honest and transparent I thought the wash was going to be so/​so and therefore I was prepared to give the woman cleaning a $ 2 tip *gasp* yes I was going to be THAT customer.
I had to go back in my wallet and pull out another $ 5.
They got into every nook, cleaned and dusted everything, vacuumed every single piece of carpet in the car and even climbed in the backseat to make sure no area was left untouched.
One thing I observed, was that the workers were not looking for a handout (tip) once they were done cleaning but they definitely deserved it.
I couldn’t stop admiring how SHINY my car was once I left.
I’ll be back for sure.

Today I had a bad experience here. After many years of bring my cars it’s the first time ever I had something stolen from me. In my center console I had the tip for the guys at the end. I had the center console situated a certain way but when I opened the lid everything in there was rummaged through and yes the money was gone.
To add insult to injury the workers didn’t clean the seats or dashboard and so on. The guy waiting to give me my key was standing there waiting for the tip. but either he or some one in the back had already got me. Paid for the premium car wash but got subpar service all around. Time to another place to do business with.
The crew in the back all looked new and the folks in the front looked new as well. But no matter if new or old, going through my stuff and then stealing is not cool. Bad business!

Wednesday March 18, 2015 about 9:15 am — Had a conversation with Angel, another manager, in an attempt to collect the $ 120+ it cost me to order a new A-​pillar (that’s the actual name of the part) to replace the one that was damaged by his employee 4 days ago and avoid going to court.
Not only did he refuse to reimburse me but his reason was because it was fixable with Super Glue or by letting their friend Mike put a screw in it. WOW. These people have zero customer service etiquette. As I was talking he was laughing with some folks in the background. I said «hello?» He said «Oh yeah we’re really busy in here». I’m not surprised by his behavior because Saturday when I left my original review, Sean Amin (he’s actually the owner not a manager) Sent me a compliment to my review… it read «Lol, you’re funny». As if destroying other people’s property is funny smh

Needed a full detail inside and out for my Honda Pilot and searched around. I came across Hesperian car wash and figured I’d give them a try.
I’ve been to many car washes around my area and have been disappointed time and again. I opted for the full detail wash and interior cleaning and to my surprise my vehicle came out sparkling inside and out. The attention to detail given was flawless along with the freshly shampooed carpets and seats. There wasn’t a spot missed and the stains magically disappeared. The guys throughout my wait checked up on me and even gave me a courtesy call upon completion. The location is a bit tight given that it’s alongside the gas station, but it’s fairly organized and you are greeted immediately. This place doesn’t disappoint and the prices are fair. Highly recommend this place for all your detailing needs.

When it comes to car washes this place is on point.
It reminds you of the old school car washes.
my little Turbo and commuter feel so loved everytime we visit.
lines can be long so be prepaired to wait.
