History

Established in 1988.

Little Red’s Auto Collision was established in 1988 originally it was called Little Red’s Auto Body located in San Francisco off Channel St. in the China Basin District. Little Red’s was Owned by Denny Davila & Supported by family & friends such as myself Gus Muhawieh, Ricardo Castaneda, & later Mrs. Sylvia Davila. Little Red’s Auto Body moved to a bigger building on 18^th & Folsom wher it continued to establish. Steep rents forced the San Francisco shop named Little Red’s Auto Body to close down for six months in 1996. But the next Year Gus M borrowed money from his family to invest in his friend’s business & a new location. The shop opened 25 miles away in San Leandro. Inspite of the move the business continued to struggle. By late 1998 Denny D. wanted out of the business & he took another job. I had borrowed money & felt «You dont just walk away» while the partners resolved ownership issues it left Gus M. sole proprietor. Little Red’s Auto Collision is BBB Honor Roll, ASE & I-​CAR GLD

I started working in 1981 as apprentice assistant painter for a auto body shop in San Francisco The name of the shop was Spikes Auto Body located in the Laurel Heights District of SF. I stayed working there for many years even when we move Spikes Auto Body to other locations, I was tought as apprentice and later became the head painter (Journey Man) I learned everything that there is to know about prepping and refinishing a vehicle for paint. I sprayed Lacquer Paint & Clear for approx, 14yrs until it was discontinued. In 1996 I started working for a different body shop in SF. The shop was Studio Tech Auto Body & Repair inc. Owned by Glenn Quon, Located in the Tenderloin. I was Spraying Solvent as Base & Urethane Clear. Throughout my whole career I’ve been attending I-​CAR and other Training Courses including Business Management. In 2006 I decided to work for a longtime friend of mine that I’ve known for over 25 years, Gus Muhawieh the owner of Little Red’s Auto Collision
