I ordered a custom earpiece for work from here. And I was extremely happy with the customer service.
I went to their store yesterday to get a mold of my left ear done. I told them what I wanted, and they were very receptive to my ideas. I paid up front for it. $ 160 for everything. Then as I was about to leave, I asked when it would be done… Now based on reviews of similar places, I was expecting about a 2 week wait (which I was fine with). But, to my surprise, I was told that I could come pick it up the next day.
When I went to pick it up, the lady was very nice. She explained to me the best way to use it, and she had me try on the mold just to make sure it fit. And it was perfect.
Overall, this place is incredible. Very customer friendly and helpful. If you’re looking for anything custom for your ears, hit this place up.

I ordered an ear piece set from them for my work. In 2 years I probably got about 4 – 5 weeks of total usage out of it.
When I first got it from them it broke a few weeks after I got it. I mailed it in and they repaired it.
I used it again and it broke shortly after that.
I took way too long to mail it back and it’s out of warranty. They won’t cover the cost of the repair.
Bottom line, their equipment is fragile and breaks easily. I take care of my equipment.
I’ll be going with another vendor for a more durable product.

This place is a bit like Ikea. Everything I buy from Ikea unfortunately breaks which is similar to PCL. I have been going to PCL for about 5 years now and have spent LOTS of money over the years on earpieces for police radios. I have never had a 2 wire earpiece last for longer than a year. I also have had several soundwaves earpieces go out and the PTT adapter as well. The last few things I have brought back because they have stopped working were no longer covered by the warranty which is frustrating considering how expensive these things are. They were likely designed to last longer than a year. The last 2 wire I bought lasted for about a month before it stopped working and that one was not covered by warranty so I am out $ 90.
In summary, their equipment is great when it works but based on my experience, it will probably reach its life expectancy within a year and a half when it is no longer covered by the warranty. James was a great help but no longer works there.
Due to how costly this has become to maintain a working earpiece for longer than a few months at a time, I will have to revert back to my old listen only earpiece with the speaker mic.

I finally ordered some custom made earplugs from here. I used to see a lot of bands so I figured it’s better to protect my hearing now than later. I know some of my favourite musicians are going or have gone deaf due too much loud music. They had a better price than another place I was looking into so I decided to go here. They have a wide selection of products including ear plugs for motorcycle riders in addition to other custom fit ear tips.
I have emailed and called before only to never get a response. Your best bet is to go in, the only problem is they’re open during the hours when most people work.
If you see them at an event like I did, that would be the best time to take advantage. I’m looking forward to testing out my earplugs at the next show. The vinyl smell is a bit over powering.
