So frustrating getting a damn smog check and every place claiming to have a coupon for cheaper prices, supposedly, will trick you. This guy was nice enough to give us $ 10. Super nice and got the job done quick! Thank you Automac for taking care of this.

I recently stopped by here for my smog check. It turned out to be very pleasant! Very fast even with a customer ahead of me! The guy knocked $ 10 off for some reason which I didn’t catch, but thanks anyways! And he was a genuinely nice guy. Didn’t give me the «sit down i’ll call you when your ready» attitude! He made small talk and seemed laid back. I recommend this place if you’re in the area! Still surprised he’s not busy all day everyday!

I called and spoke to the owner Leonard, I asked for a price quote for my vehicle.
I also asked how long it may take for the actual smog text? I was quoted around 15 min, of course I was skeptical. previous smog shops usually exceeded 1hr.
Was I shocked that the whole process in and out plus no waiting was around minutes total. Arrived around 11:00a & out by 11:15a. Fast, friendly & above all professional! Definitely recommending Automac Smog to family & friends!

Friendly guy, tells you how it is. If there’s something wrong, tells you how and where to go to get it fixed (well most of the time, you already have a feeling that it wont pass specially if you got some lights on the dash) But when there’s nothing wrong, like what the other guys says, 15 – 20 minutes max and you outta’der. sayonara, see you in 2 years…

I come all the way from Alameda to get my smog done every 2 years. Cheaper price than my own home town, friendly service and quick. Every time I’ve gone, I’ve been in & out in 15 – 20 min or less.
