okay the castro valley one the people are rude at I’ve only been there once but people complaining of homeless people working? WTF DUDE IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH HOMELESS PEOPLE THEN WHY BE MAD WHEN THEY TRY TO EARN MONEY TO NOT BECOME HOMELESS! some peoples logic doesn’t make sense, if you don’t want homeless people around then give them jobs, they start earning and have the chance to become unhomeless (i am aware that isn’t a word) and the community then is bettered. so CONGRATS TO NEXCYCLE for giving homeless people a chance! you can’t just throw homeless people away because you don’t like how they look or something. i do agree that the business owners could do a lot more to make the lines go smoother and get their system working better. also many places don’t accept lids on bottles so remember that because many places are unable to break them down bc the plastics are much thicker.

This review is for all their locations in San Leandro, San Lorenzo, Hayward, and Castro Valley California. This past Saturday, I went to all their locations in those cities starting at 130 in the afternoon.. I was turned away from all of them because they were either too full or had technical difficulties. Two locations had people in line and the line was long. also, these locations are hotbeds for homeless, degenerate, and criminal looking people. not a place you want to be at, much less bring your children to. in fact, many of these locations use smelly homeless people to separate the bottles. They also require that you take the tops off all of your bottles before they will accept them. the only silver lining from my experience was that it forced me to look up recycling centers in the Bay Area. Luckily I found a great recycling center in Hayward that had great customer service, no long lines, and no homeless people. They did all the work, and paid a good rate. I do not recommend that anybody use nexcycle locations in the East Bay. I would rather see the earth drown in plastic then go back to those locations.
