We loved working with Ari as our wedding photographer. It was like we were working with a long time friend even though we had just met him a couple of times within the booking process. Throughout the booking process he responded to us in a timely manner which made wedding planning less stressful. We were glad to book him since his work is amazing and really stands out. When we received our wedding photos and we had a great time reliving the day. It was great to see the numerous moments and details he captured that we didn’t get to see on that day. We also saw things in a new perspective. We are grateful for his work.

I did a lot of research for my wedding photographer. Wedding pictures are so important to me and I am very picky about the style of photography. After hours and hours of research and interviews with photographers, we decided to hire Ari and we are so happy we did! We absolutely LOVE our wedding photos!!! Ari is super talented. I love photojournalism in general, but among photo-​journalists, you will find that he is one of the best. Our wedding was in Santa Monica and there are numerous wedding photographers/​photojournalists in the LA area but we just knew that we want Ari to shoot our wedding. When we first talked to Ari via Skype, we instantly felt comfortable. Throughout the conversations, you could just tell that he is so kind and warm, and you don’t feel like he’s trying to «sell you». A big plus in my eyes. When we got our pictures back, I was tearing up to see how amazing those photos turned out to be. Nothing could replace photos that beautifully captured your special moments. Thank goodness for Ari, we could not be happier with how our wedding & engagement photos came out! I have been following Arisak’s work for the past 9 years now and I am amazed at how his photography just keeps on getting better. He is truly an artist and story teller with a creative eye. I wanted to get married just so that he could take my engagement photos! My engagement photos were absolutely stunning and I could not ask for a better shoot. All of my friends thought our photos came straight out of a magazine. He’s a professional and possesses the capabilities to catch precious kodak moments which I’ve never seen before. Unlike other photographers that stand you in front of trees and flowers, he will take his time to make the shoot perfect by identifying perfect locations, colors, and lights. 100% I would do it again. Ari and my wife were in a pre-​law fraternity together at UC Davis, so she already knew Ari as an amazing person and a gifted photographer. When we got engaged, our very next thought was «Do you think Ari will be our wedding photographer?» We were in love with Ari’s uniquely bold photojournalistic style and wanted someone who was flexible, easygoing, professional and fun — Ari is all of these things and more. We were so lucky to have him capture our July 2011 wedding at Sigmund Stern Grove in San Francisco. Not only did he tastefully snap all of the key wedding party and family photos, but he somehow managed to document every perfect candid moment of our unconventional wedding and reception like a photo ninja. Ari is a true artist — the way he works with space, light and emotion is almost dreamlike and unparalleled. Every time I look at our wedding photos, it is like reliving the best day of my life all over again. Ari was such a friendly and compatible person! We clicked from our previous engagement sessions which were so fun and loved the results… his keen eye for details and creative, photojournalistic perspective of playing with lighting and shadows! We knew he’d be wonderful for capturing our wedding day! He was so easy to get in touch with and very responsive in corresponding either by phone, email, or text. To prepare, he asked for the «Day Of» Timeline and what time hair and makeup was scheduled to plan his arrival. What a beautiful day to get married that Saturday! Ari came early to set up (how professional) and just like another bride mentioned, we didn’t even notice him… really relaxing and assuring on a day with so much commotion! An unexpected event towards the end of the reception was when my husband and Ari surprised me with sparklers outside our venue (how flexible)! What a nice treat! The photo turnaround was faster than we expected… family and friends got to reminisce that fun and loving day over and over! Ari will definitely document and showcase your wedding day with professionalism and quality service!

Ari is an AMAZING photographer! He shot our Disneyland/​Disney California Adventure Park wedding in September 2010 and we were so happy with his work! His creativity with his photography really shined through and we ended up with beautiful results. He was able to capture every moment of the day in such a perfect way and we’re so glad that we can always go back to his photos to remember our wedding day.

Call it love at first sight. The moment we saw Ari’s blog, we already fell in love with his unique style and ability to capture those precious and raw moments at weddings. We loved the effects that he could do with lighting and how clear and detailed all his photos were. After our initial consultation with Ari, we knew he was the one for us — he had an ability to maintain the proper balance between professionalism and fun, and demonstrated his understanding of our needs and willingness to put our desires first.
We really enjoyed working with Ari as we were preparing for our wedding and on our wedding day. He was very prompt with all our correspondences (something that is very important to me), and he got our pictures and albums to us very soon after our wedding — within two months! We love looking at all our photos — we loved the backlight effects and creative use of angles and reflection. Ari’s shots are vivid. The colors burst out of the page, and his timing captures the emotions at their peak. The lines are crisp and clean, and his pictures are almost better than being there in person. I don’t think any photographer can match the sharpness of his capture — his work is best viewed in high-​definition screens and high-​resolution prints. He was also extremely discreet (we hardly noticed him or his assistants taking pictures throughout the night and were surprised when we saw that some of the pictures indicated that he had actually been standing right next to us). The church that we got married in didn’t allow photographers to walk along the aisle during the ceremony, yet Ari was still able to make it work and still somehow managed to get a variety of pictures from different angles. I was a very emotional bride, and my parents were also very emotional, as I was their first daughter to get married. Ari was able to capture those emotions through his photos, and one of those photos even won an award. At our wedding, we also had various «surprise» performances at the end of our ceremony and at our reception, and he was able to shoot quickly and continuously capture some of the best moments of those dances.
