Exceptional customer service from an incredibly knowledgeable salesperson. Deana was AMAZING! She made me, my husband, and our daughter so comfortable and made the process easy and fun. I will refer all of my friends and family to Christians Matress, and to Deana specifically! Thanks so much, we can’t wait for our new bed to arrive!

We bought our matresses and platforms 2 years ago. last week we had to move our bed due to putting in wood floors. I was having problems getting my electrical cords hooked back up. the store was so kind to have one of their delivery guys come by and help me after trying for 3 days to fix the problem. they went above and beyond for their customers.

Christian’s was a great find! Dustin helped us out and he was great. We bought a full mattress and got a great deal on a bed, box spring, and frame. We also got a discount for taking the mattress home with us. Definitely come here, it’s great friendly service and great prices.

Our experience in the store, while purchasing the mattress, was great. No complaints there… however, I was told that the mattress would be delivered between 3 PM — 7 PM two days later. I got a call at about 1:45 PM on the delivery day saying that the delivery guys would be there in 30 – 45 minutes. I left my job to come home and wait about 2 hours until they actually showed up. During that time I called the store twice, each time being told that the delivery guys were on their way. When the delivery guys did get there, there was no apology of any kind. I even told them I left work and waited 2 hours when they said 45 minutes and the guy said, «eh, 2 hours, 45 minutes, right? what’s the difference?» I am extremely disappointed.

Dustin helped us with buying 2 mattresses and he was so patient and kind! Also the delivery guys were right on time and so professional! Love our Temperpedic!!!

They were really knowledgable, helpful, friendly and had a huge selection. They threw in free gifts, which are great! I can’t comment on my bed yet because it’s still not here. When I went in to the store we were told (and heard on the commercials) Same day delivery and we match or beat any price! I found the bed somewhere cheaper but wanted to go to Christiansen for the same day delivery or a few days at most. They did come close to matching the price, but still no bed and were told today won’t be here till next Thursday. So we will end up waiting over a week for our bed to pay $ 200 more. Not very happy with our decision. Definitely won’t make the same mistake twice!

Wow, what a great experience!
My fiancée was given the task of finding our next mattress. I excused myself from the affair because I chose the last mattress. It served us well, but it was her turn… and I really didn’t want to go.
She showed up around closing time, but Dustin took plenty of time to help her test out about half of the mattresses in the store. She obviously found one because she ordered one in a few days. Thankfully, the store was just beginning its Fourth of July sale, so we got our Posturepedic Hybrid (Encourage model) for $ 300 off. Awesome.
The mattress was ordered on Monday. We were told that our delivery would take place on Friday. This is understandable since we live in Los Osos, and most businesses like to lump outlaying deliveries together. When our desire for an earlier appointment was heard, Dustin said he’d get back to her. The next day (Tuesday), Dustin informed her that the delivery would take place on Wednesday. To say that we were pleased to hear this news is putting it lightly. We appreciated him looking out for our interests after the sale was already made.
The delivery guys delivered early in the delivery appointment window and even gave a call beforehand. In less than 5 minutes, our old set was gone and a brand new, mega-​awesome, sandman-​envying, sleep-till-you’re-dead set was in its place.
Kudos, guys!

I’m no expert on buying a mattress, but with Dustin’s help I didn’t feel like I needed to be. Gone was the dreaded high pressure sale tactics, and instead Dustin took great care in letting us try all the mattresses, giving info on each type, and really enforcing a sense of comfort and ease. We ended up getting a hybrid from Posturepedic, made right here in USA. Delivery, setup, and haul away were all included.
Best part is absolutely no buyer’s remorse! We feel we walked away with a great mattress at a good price, and highly recommend anyone to go visit the fine folks at Christian’s.
Update:
We still love our mattress after 11 months of use. I’ve had to stay in hotels quite a lot recently and I’m always pleasantly surprised by how nice the Posturepedic really is. Still happy we bought from Christian’s.

Holly was very nice and happy. She met and exceeded our expectations. We went to all the major furniture stores and they were the only ones with full size mattresses in stock. Then they beat the competition by 5%, bonus! Out the door the best price and value. Throw in service and it was a home run. Thank you, Holly :)

I spent a good portion of a weekend trip to San Luis Obispo looking for a mattress with my daughter who is starting college there. We went to quite a few stores and ended up choosing one at Christian’s. They had a great selection across a broad price range and Dustin was super helpful and nice. We got a great deal on the mattress and never felt pushed into a decision or oversold. I’m glad I saw the other great reviews on Unilocal and checked them out. I definitely recommend this store if you are mattress shopping.

So, I know I should probably wait to review until after I get the mattress, but just going into this store was so nice. The Manager, Patrick, was SUPER educated on what he was selling. Very helpful, but not pushy. I didn’t need to go anywhere else. Able to get everything I needed at this store, and quickly! Would highly recommend if looking for a mattress. I ordered the iComfort! :’)

Friendly, helpful, but not overly pushy and obnoxious salespeople. I got an excellent deal on a fabulous mattress. I looked several other places, but I knew I’d end up buying from Christian’s. Ask for Matt, he’s the best!
