We specialize in our superb collection of Japanese seed beads in various sizes. We offer many different types and styles of beads such as: seed beads, Czech pressed glass, buttons, Swarovski crystals In a wide color selection, and a large selection of vintage pressed glass. In addition we have a wide variety of stringing materials and other general beading supplies.

We have repair services available. We offer classes and parties please call for further inquiry. If you don’t know what beads to purchase as a gift we offer gift certificates.

History

Established in 2006.

Naturally Jennifer’s Beads & Gallery is owned by Jennifer Riley-​Akers. Jennifer brings a fresh energy and creative spirit to the shop. In 2006 she purchased the store in San Luis Obispo and named it, ‘Naturally Jennifer’s Beads & Gallery’. Her wall tapestries are on display in the store, and her tie-​dye is available for purchase. Jennifer’s son Caleb has been working at the shop for 1 ½ years. He has been a great asset for his knowledge of jewelry and skill with chainmaille. Jennifer’s and Caleb’s energy and passion for color is a great asset to the community.

Business Owner

Jennifer was raised in the D.C. metropolitan area of the United States. She spent a significant time of her life living in Europe and traveling the world. During the last twenty years she has enjoyed living in California. Jennifer was exposed to a wide variety of ethnic creativity and color. All these experiences came together when she discovered her love for bead weaving. Besides creating many wonderful works of art with beads, she spent about thirty years working in fiber-​arts. Jennifer and her husband and two cats live in San Luis Obispo.
