Planimation Events

We cannot say enough great things about Planimation Events, and specifically Lisa! From the first time I reached out to Planimation Events for a price quote, I loved them. I first spoke to Lauren who was so sweet and offered me many vendor suggestions and even helped me with some ideas for venues in the area.
We ended up booking Lisa to be our day-​of coordinator for our wedding. Even though she was only our coordinator for the day, she went above and beyond throughout our planning process for the many months leading up to the wedding. We live out of town so it was not easy to select/​coordinate with vendors but she handled so much of the in between. We even forgot to order part of the linens required but she reached out to the vendor and the venue to solve the problem. She was incredibly professional and organized but also so flexible as issues came up. Our wedding would not have been close to the same without her. Not only is she extremely organized but she has a wonderful cheery personality, which helps everyone stay positive throughout the day.
We would highly recommend Lisa or Lauren for wedding coordination!

We hired Lisa to be our wedding coordinator for our wedding on 9÷12÷15. We chose a venue that was pretty much only a venue. Meaning we had to bring in caterers, chair/​table/​linen/​etc. rentals, lighting, DJ, photobooth, desert, photographer. etc… and the setup and take down was the same day. There was a ton of stuff going on and Lisa handled it great without missing a beat. We worked with lisa leading up to the wedding, but my wife and I were blown away by how awesome she was on the day of. I absolutely recommend her, you will not regret it! She made the wedding so fun and enjoyable we did not have to worry about a thing.

She is so organized and has a great positive attitude. Lisa had prompt communication throughout the preplanning process and was available by phone or email whenever we needed questions answered. She had great recommendations for our wedding planning. The Planimation Event spreadsheet was an amazing tool for keeping our wedding vendors and wedding details organized.
On our rehearsal & wedding days Lisa was fantastic in directing the bridal/​groomsmen/​family and got along with everyone. She set up the majority of our wedding décor, favors, dessert table, etc. and it looked just as I had hoped and then some. Definitely someone who goes above and beyond the expected and we were so lucky and thankful to have had her there for our entire wedding day setup to clean up. She is so sweet and I was such a happy bride having her as our day of coordinator.

I don’t know what I would have done without Lauren! She was better then I could have ever imagined.
When I got engaged I knew having a planner there the day of was something that was really important so right away I looked into it. I had found a few that I was in contact with but since I was planning a semi destination wedding I could never find the time to meet with any of them when I was in the area. As it got closer to my wedding date I didn’t know if it was going to be something we could afford anymore so I stopped looking. As the day started to approach I realized there is no way I could go without one. Lauren was recommended to me by my cousin who knew someone that was using her the week before my wedding. At this point my wedding was roughly two weeks away. I knew trying to book her this late would be probably impossible but my mom reached out anyways. It turned out she could do it and man am I grateful. My day would not have gone so smoothly and stress free without her. I had less then two weeks to catch her up on everything for my wedding and put together a timeline. She made this process a piece of cake! The week of my wedding I finally got to meet her in person the Wednesday before my big day. We went through everything one by one and she really seemed to understand my vision. On Friday we had the rehearsal and it was so nice being able to have her run that. Before the rehearsal started we walked around the venue so we could discuss where and what I wanted in different areas. I had tons of things I made, bought and rented so I spent a little time showing her everything. I planned to get some of the stuff set up that night after the rehearsal dinner which I did but couldn’t do as much as I planned. I was so stressed thinking I left way to much to be done. The next day I made sure to not worry about anything. At this point whatever happens was meant to be. When I got to the venue and got to look at everything I was blown away. Everything ended up coming together in a way I visioned but more then I imagined could have been done. I was shocked at how little time I had to share my vision with her but how she knew exactly what I was wanting. I would recommend Lauren to any bride! She will exceed any expectations you have and really goes about the day so easily. Everyone at my wedding mentioned how amazing she was and how they really liked her. She knew how to get things done but never showed an ounce of stress! Thank you Lauren for everything you did on my wedding day! It truly ended up being my dream wedding!

Lauren was our wedding angel.
Lauren is one of the most professional people I have ever met – timely, with fantastic communication skills. She tactfully navigated the questions, concerns, and potential conflicts we had and had so many great suggestions for keeping our wedding running smooth. Our wedding turned out wonderfully, in no small part due to Lauren’s efforts.
The rehearsal ran extremely smoothly, and on my wedding day Lauren and her assistant were there giving us succinct updates and check-​ins the entire day. Planimation Events did everything they said they would do, and more. That Lauren had experience coordinating several events at our venue was key. We weren’t local to the venue, so our emails, calls, and skype sessions were key!
I can’t thank Lauren and Planimation Events enough! She made the process as easy as it could have been, and greatly helped us appreciate the day we had worked so hard to achieve. Money was very well spent and of great value to us. Hats off to you, Lauren!

We hired Michele as our day-​of coordinator for our wedding and Lauren helped her as well. They were both a pleasure to work with and gave helpful guidance based on their experience with weddings without being pushy at all. I wasn’t really sure what I wanted with our ceremony and they helped us out a lot with both the planning and rehearsal. I was so grateful to have them there! Michele was both extremely thorough in making sure every detail is thought out and extremely patient with us as we figured out exactly what it was that we wanted. Any minor issues that arose during the day were immediately addressed and taken care of. They were just amazing! I would definitely recommend Planimation Events to anyone who is planning a wedding!

I decided to have a day of planner for my wedding from the beginning. However, as I started searching around, I found that most charged an obscene amount of money and were ‘pushy’ with their ideas. Then I found Lauren. Her prices are very reasonable and she will execute all of your ideas just as you envisioned them. Also, if you have no preference, just let her know and she’ll give you lots of recommendations! She also let me e-​mail her any amount of questions before the big day and she did her best to answer them! Being that this was the first and only time I planned a wedding, I had a ton of little questions! Be prepared, the meeting that you have with her about a month before your wedding will be overwhelming. She is very good at finding the things that you haven’t done yet, that definitely need doing! But have no fear, on the day of (and the rehearsal), she did absolutely everything! I didn’t have to worry about a thing, and I know it’s all thanks to Lauren and her assistant Sam! Both were super friendly, easy going, and COMPETENT!
Planimation Events is the best!

Okay, so Lauren did it again. I don’t know why I’m surprised.
I asked her to compile a list of possible event locations across all of central California.
She knows what I like, what I hate, what I’m willing to deal with, and my «deal breakers.»
I hold corporate events ranging from 10 — 200 attendees, so I need a large selection of options. I was thinking Lauren would compile a list of a couple dozen locations.
One week later she came back with a list of 120 options!
One hundred and twenty.
If you hold corporate training or incentive events in central California, and you don’t use Planimation Events… then you’re wasting money and sacrificing quality.

We booked Lauren as our day-​of coordinator. When we first met with her, we instantly saw her professionalism and experience in event coordinating. We wanted someone who knew what they were doing and can handle the challenges that may arise during our special day. Lauren helped us with smoothing out our timeline and planning the placement of everything at the venue. Our rehearsal went very well. She was patient as we had a few nieces and nephews in the ceremony processional and recessional. On the day of the wedding, Lauren took care of everything. She handled all the little and, maybe a few, big things that may have popped up and we probably will never know there was ever a problem. We knew Lauren would help make our wedding day run smoothly and everything was absolutely perfect.

When you’re planning a wedding, one of the first things people tell you is to get a day-​of coordinator to take care of all the little details of your wedding day. Lauren was recommended to us for that task, and to put it simply, she did an amazing job as our day-​of coordinator, as well as so much more.
Lauren’s prices for the day-​of services seemed very fair & reasonable, and on top of that she provides additional an a la carte services that allow you to enlist her help for other things before the wedding you don’t want to deal with, like research & negotiation of vendors, help with décor design, and virtually every other aspect of a wedding. On top of day-​of services, we hired her for décor help and handling our rental vendor, and she exceeded our expectations in those areas as well.
We worked with her for nearly 6 months prior to our actual wedding day, and the entire time she was on top of every single detail imaginable. My wife is a fantastic planner that thinks of every single detail imaginable, and it’s safe to say that Lauren was not only at her level, but even thought of things my wife hadn’t yet. She is friendly, thinks outside the box, and ultimately will help deliver the wedding day of your dreams. We can’t thank her enough for all she did for us!

We hired Lisa Ahlgren to be our day of wedding coordinator and I can’t say enough wonderful things about her. She was amazing from the minute we connected all the way to the finish of our wedding and even beyond.
When I first met Lisa (over a video chat, no less), I instantly liked her. She has a very special way of putting people at ease and listens. She is also extremely detail oriented and was great about asking the right questions and helping figure out any holes.
On the day of, Lisa was smiling and energetic and just plain lovely. She came prepared /​organized, dealt with every little thing with a smile and was so wonderful to my husband and I as well as all of our vendors.
Our wedding had quite a bit of DIY to it so there was naturally a lot to be done on the day of. She worked with family members to make sure decorations went up, she escorted vendors where they needed to be and even came to make sure I was at ease in the bridal cottage before my big moment. I felt like if I lived closer, we’d be friends, plain and simple. Her calming presence, positive energy and organization are a dream combination for a wedding coordinator.
I hope every bride getting married on the central coast has an opportunity to work with Lisa and Lauren at Planimation. Seriously, I just can’t imagine anyone being more thorough, gracious or wonderful!

Lauren is amazing! I did not think that I needed a wedding coordinator and I was on a tight budget, so I didn’t plan on hiring anyone. Luckily my mom recommended Lauren, and insisted that I at least meet with her, because hiring her turned out to be the best decision I made. Her rates are extremely reasonable, and the service she provides is well worth the expense! Lauren was instrumental in making my wedding so much more than I ever thought it could be. Before the wedding, the most popular advice I received was to expect things to go wrong because «they always do». But the day was absolutely perfect and I have Lauren to thank for that. There were minor issues that came up, but she handled them with grace, making sure that our guests were taken care of and that my husband and I could just enjoy ourselves. Before I met with Lauren, I did not know exactly what I wanted but she asked all the right questions to help me figure it out. She didn’t just take over and tell me what I should do. She guided me through the process so that I could have the day that I wanted. She recommended vendors who were equally impressive, offered creative décor ideas, and relieved my stress by taking on any and all tasks that she could. I was reluctant to give up control because I am a bit of a control freak, but she was always up to the task. Lauren is professional, encouraging, and an absolute pleasure to work with. I highly recommend her!

My daughter got married August 10, 2013 and the best thing we did in the 11 short weeks we had to plan the wedding was to hire Lauren Burleson with Planimation Events. She helped us with some of the vendors and decoration ideas. She asked questions I would not have thought to ask to make my daughter’s vision for her perfect wedding a reality. She was also our rehearsal and day of coordinator. I was able to relax and enjoy my daughter’s wedding because I knew Lauren would handle anything that came up (and we had several minor issues at the reception) She is willing to help as little or as much as you want and is very calm. I recommend Lauren highly if you want a beautiful, stress-​free event!

I got married on October 19, 2013 and had Lauren Burleson with Planimation Events be our day of wedding coordinator. Because I was very particular about my wedding day and everything pretty much planned out, Lauren was going to be my point person on the day of the wedding. From the planning stages to sending emails to all my vendors to coordinating the ceremony rehearsal to day of, Lauren was a true professional throughout the entire event. Lauren is extremely organized and very to the point, which is what you need on the wedding day. When you are dealing with groomsmen that have short attention span, to parents chatting away on the rehearsal day, Lauren is your gal to get everyone to pay attention, learn their duties for the day and getting it done firmly but relayed nicely. =) She can handle any tasks you may not want to handle because you may hurt someone’s feelings, etc. I would highly recommend Lauren for any special event and/​or wedding. There were no surprises and if you were to get any, Lauren would be the person who can work it all out for your big day. Thank you, Lauren for making our day so special. A+++
