TD Parker Salon and Gallery

Had my hair done by the lovely & talented Miss Robbye today! I wanted to enhance the colors that I already had & she was great! We talked about some ideas & she then walked me thru exactly what she was going to do. My hair looks super fun & super healthy! Love it! Thanks girly! :-)

I just had my hair done by Cloey at TD Parker Salon, and I could not be more thrilled with the results. I was apprehensive about trying a new stylist, but my old faithful went out on maternity leave. I was interested in having a new product called Olaplex used during my blonding process and was told that Cloey was the person to see.
When I arrived at my appointment, we discussed my expectations and she got to work. She provided a professional service and my blonde is awesome. I will be back and look forward to recommending others to her.
The salon was nice also because her station was its own individual pod so it was less noisy than a traditional salon. I really liked it.

I have been going to TD Parker for years. The salon has a calm relaxing feel to it. It has a nice patio and sitting area and is great for bridal parties. The owner is very friendly and welcoming, as are all the stylist. Minda is amazing!!! She has been styling my hair for years. She always keeps it looking healthy and fresh. She is so knowledgable when it comes to selecting colors and cuts to compliment my skin tone and facial structure. Whenever I am in a hair rut, Minda helps me come up with a solution. I highly recommend this salon to anybody looking for something new.

My friend has been raving about Minda for years! And I had the proof all along because my friend’s hair always looked stellar. Problem is that I live in San Francisco and Minda’s in SLO. So one day I made the drive and let me tell you… WORTH IT!!! This girl has got it going on when it comes to highlights. I was nervous because she was so quick (½ the time it typically takes) but it came out like perfection (close to the root, great color, great dimensions, etc). I felt like she really listened during the consult portion and cared about doing a good job. She’s cool too, which is a bonus. I’m def going back. Thanks Minda!

Used to be a faithful customer until this past December. Completely lost points as the stylist (that I’d been seeing for years) didn’t show for a PRE-​SCHEDULED appointment. She didn’t return call or text until the end of the day and my appointment was for the morning. The salon was CLOSED. No sign of explanation, no message on their machine. No notice at all. They had their company holiday party that day. I will NEVER go back and have told everyone I know to stay away. Completely unprofessional. Completely rude. Completely wrong.

Terri Parker is a fabulous stylist and a beautiful person inside and out. She makes me look and feel gorgeous every time I sit in her chair.

great little salon, with a very cool and relaxing atmosphere. I never feel rushed when I go in here. My stylist is Tawnya Click and she does an awesome job! She’s fun and professional! Highly recommend this place if you want a great haircut or color! O, the parking is wonderful too. always a spot to park!

Yep, I like this salon… I wasn’t sure since it’s a good bit off the main drag of San Luis but it’s low key, parking is a breeze, and it’s the kind of salon you can relax in (not into the expensive up-​sells etc.)
I’ve followed Mercedes here from her prior salon (and the one before that) and she’s phenominal with color so I recomend her if you’re new in town looking for a stylist or if you’re looking for a change.

Terri Parker (TD Parker) and her hand picked stylists are some of the most friendly and service oriented salons I’ve ever been in. I’m a guy and I can’t tell you how nice it was to feel comfortable and at ease in a normally girl run business arena.
Terri’s been cutting my families hair for a few years now and every time I go see her it’s like having a little reunion. This attention to detail and care that goes into our family carries directly over into haircuts as well. I always get an excellent haircut when I go to TD Parker. My current stylist is Tawnya Click and I have yet to get a hair cut that I’m not jazzed about afterwords.
The décor is local artists that Terri hand picks to put up on the walls. Each artist has something special that if you ask Terri about them she’ll elaborate on what exactly it is that makes them special and why she chose them to be on display in the shop. Most of them can be purchased so if you’re looking for some very unique art this is another place to hit up.
