Ababa Bolt

Have been an Ababa customer for 6 years now. The perfect place to find that «hard to find» automotive fastener. In today’s case, a 14 mm x 1.5 set of nylon locking nuts to hold up my steering rack and upper control arms. Very happy with the service here. Excellent selection of unusual fasteners… multi colored zip tyes? Yup, they are here too. Be sure to bring cash if you are spending less than $ 15, as that is the credit card/​debit threshold for small stuff. I bought the bag of nuts today for $ 3.63 and they were nice enough to allow plastic, but I will bring a $ 20 next time in preparation.

Went in with a bolt in hand and asked them to help me identify it. They measured the width and length, tested the threading, went in back and came out with two options. They charged $ 1 for one bolt or $ 9 for a pack of 50. I needed 8 bolts and didn’t know which one of the options I needed so I ended up getting a pack of both.
The exchange was very quick and the man who helped me was very knowledgeable about the bolts. Everything was in stock and I was in and out quick. It’s everything you can hope for in a place that sells bolts and bolt accessories.

This place is really as good as it gets! I am refurbishing a drum set and needed replacement bolts and accessories to get the job started. I thought I knew what I needed… I wasn’t even close. I’m so glad there’s a location here in North County for us to use. Family owned specialty items that are real experts with what they do. You see in most of my reviews I try to frequent small business being pushed out by box stores. My business relies on the same kind of specialty people and businesses. Can’t say enough about the service, quality, people, depth of knowledge, inventory in hand, etc.
