Allstate Insurance: J. Scott Hazelrigg

Had insurance with allstate for 2−3years. I cancelled my old policy an purchased a new car the very next day. I was treated as a new customer instead of a long time allstate customer. They told me it would be 242.60 per month to start a policy again. I paid it but the allstate agent didnt enter my routing or account number correctly an the payment did not go through. No one from this agency called me. So I went out of my way called them and told them hey your payment didn’t work gave them my info again and it worked. THE VERY NEXT DAY. They tell me my policy is changing and I need to pay 600 $ a month. I said I never agreed to anything other then 242.60 they said they would call me back in a few minutes when they figure it out. 24 hours later still no call. So I call again same thing they tell me they would call me back when they figure it out. 5 Hours later I had enough. I told them I am cancelling my policy I never agreed to anything other then 240.60 and they told me I cannot cancel my policy without going into the store. So I drive out of my way to goto this store with my new insurance in hand already an when I get there at like 2:15pm they only have one person left in the office and she is telling me they are closed when on the internet & on the sign on the building it says they are open till 4pm. So your telling me your agent left home early knowing a frustrated customer was on the way to the office to cancel his policy? That is ridiculous. I will be leaving this review online on numerous review sites as well as contacting the corporate office about this. Oh an here is the thing after cancelling my policy they are now trying to charge me for the non agreed amount says I owe them more money after they got my 242.60. I only had insurance for 18days that comes up to 145.56 so you technically owe me $ 97.04. I never agreed to change my policy and as soon as you tried to change the price «AFTER» I already paid you previous agreed amount I terminated the policy.

1 star is too much for them horrible customer service, employees are not trained correctly and manager is horrible at explaining. Had to call customer service to help me understand why they charge me three months worth of service when i was only with them for two. Cancelled my service right away, if they can’t even explain something so simple I’ m worried what else they might do. BTW customer since 2008, treated with no respect.
