I stop by regularly… the guy running the counter(probably the owner?) is always very friendly, says hi to my kids(and sometimes gives them an extra doughnut hole, so they love him!) and most importantly… some of the best doughnuts I’ve ever had! I’ve tested this on a number of people too… you normally assume all doughnuts are roughly the same, but there is something distinctly better about these every time. They are perfectly soft/moist on the inside, with a slight crisp on the outside that makes for a great texture unlike the generic doughnuts you can find at every other shop. Do bring cash though. They can run a debit card and give you cash back, but don’t accept credit cards for smaller transactions, which i completely understand.

The guy was nice and I had no problems. As soon as I entered he immediately assisted us. I got a chocolate donut, powdered sugar and a croissant. All for under $ 3 and I came around 4pm.

Love the croissants with ham etc. for a quick lunch. A very well stocked cold drink selection and great tasting donuts.

I ordered one of the donuts but the guy said that it is for the other person who was behind me because she goes to this place everyday. Seriously? You go this place and you can’t buy your favorite donuts unless you go here everyday. The donuts were used to be good with a previous owner, but it has less than 10 donuts and they are below the average tastes. There are so many other better donut shops in San Marcos. You should easily find those with Unilocal search.

New owners. The old owner would run out of doughnuts around 9. The new owners keep a good supply.
