Came here for lunch. Great service, excellent Phở.

Great place to get Phở, food was served promptly and the restaurant was busy which is always a good sign.

First time here. My first impression was well not so good. We were looking thru the menu to see what our options were when we were approached. We advised we had never been here before and we relieved the silent treatment and we were left alone. To be honest I was concern. Our food came fast and at the end of it all it turned out to be a good experience. I still can’t give it a 5 though

After trying several Phở places, this one is definitely worth driving to! The soup is always consistent, fresh and so tasty! The broth itself is really good. The same man is always working, im sure he’s the owner. He is very attentive and the food comes out fast. This is my favorite Phở spot! Only reason I did 4 was when we ask for extra lime and jalapeños he will bring us 2 pieces only.

I frequent this restaurant and every time the food is consistently awesome and fresh. The egg rolls are a must! The surrounding shopping center is not the best but this restaurant is spotless and decorated nicely. I think it is family owned and always get amazing service. I would definitely recommend eating at this restaurant

Food = Mmm mmm good! Service= Meh, they were direct, short and to the point. But the food arrived quickly and piping hot! Very attentive, checked on us regularly and portions were very hearty and flavor was very good. The resturant is located in an older, kinda run down plaza, but the inside the resturant was very nice and clean. So glad we tried this place, I’ll be visiting here again soon. :)

I love grilled pork with rice here. I eat this every time i come here. This place is perfect for family because of the variety of vietnamese food. Every food is awesome. My mom tried wonton noodle. My father tried beef phở. Everyone feel satisfied when we come here.

My favorite part of Phở has always been the broth and the atmosphere. This phở restaurant doesn’t compare to some of the other places I have been. The broth was kind of bland and seemed like it was from a can maybe. Then the atmosphere didn’t feel right. I don’t know if it was the time of day or if it was one of those odd days. I came here since the reviews on Unilocal was superb, but it didn’t match the reviews. =(

Delicious love it here! Can’t wait to come back and try more dishes! There is take out but the place itself works for a small group and it looks like they can accommodate larger groups, too!

I came in for lunch a little bit before 11am. It was just one other customer besides me. Restaurant was clean and service was prompt. I ordered spring rolls and the house special phở. I don’t like certain veggies and asked them to be omitted. My food came out as I ordered. And I was busy doing stuff on my phone and keeping to myself, so the waiter left me alone. But he was always within hearing distance so I could easily ask for anything. Thank goodness, cause when waiters keep stopping by my table, it makes me feel rushed and I don’t like that. The spring rolls were freshly made. Not like some places where the vermicelli noodles sit for who knows how long and becomes all hard and chewy. The peanut sauce was delicious! The house special phở– it was almost as good as my mom’s home cooked phở! The broth was perfect. The phở was slightly undercooked. They probably thought it would get too soggy in the hot broth so they undercooked it to have it finish cooking when it was sitting to wait to be brought out to me. Overall, good service, good food. No complaints here– 5 stars

Pretty good phở! I got the number 11 house special phở, which is basically the phở with everything in it. The soup tasted natural(meaning less msg) and they were generous with the amount of meat. The only reason why I am refraining from giving this place 5 stars is that the owner wanted to charge me 1 dollar extra for extra bean sprouts and another 50 cents for lime. I must say that this is the only phở place I’ve been to that does that!

Very Good beef phở. In the corner of an older shopping center, don’t expect fancy dining but you can’t be meat the quality ingredients and freshness! A regular sized bowl was more than enough and I’m a big dude. At a very reasonable price $ 7 … I will be coming back for sure.

This place has the best phở in San Diego, hands down! Whether you get the chicken broth-chicken phở or the vegetable tofu phở, you cannot go wrong! Love love love this place. The plus: the phở is cheaper than the average phở locale!

This is your average phở place. I was craving some phở and my go to usual spot was too far. I needed nourishment and it needed to happen with in5 minutes. So we diverted. The place is clean and the staff is friendly. The Food Was good, but I was not blown away. Might come back here if im in the area, but definitely will not go out if my way.

This restaurant has such a weird name. I want to ask the owner what’s up with that weird name but I don’t want to look like a douche. I think it should be «Phở 4 a Queen,» but I think they had difficulties with the English language when they were setting this up(sorry for sounding politically incorrect. I’m Asian, if that makes you guys feel better.) I’ve ordered a lot off their menu and it’s all so good. One item I keep ordering off their menu is the«Bánh xèo»(Vietnamese crêpe). Oh man, it’s so crispy and delicious, I just want one right now as I’m typing this So, if you’re in the area and you want to get your Vietnamese food fix, then this is the joint for you. Another Vietnamese joint I recommend in the area is «Banh Mi San Marcos.» Go there if you want some awesome Vietnamese sandwiches

All Hail the Queen! Phở 4 Queen, that is! Seriously, this place is royally GOOD! I like me my Asian yummy, especially when it’s affordable, fast, and served with a smile. When it comes to delicious soups, what more can I say except that I’m a total«Phở HO» and I like to try different places. Phở-Ever is very good, but I’ve been going there for so darn long that, after eating every thing on their menu 5 – 6 times over, well, I began seeking greater variety. Phở Oceanside is good too but the traffic to get there for me off the I-5 and, or, the Coast Highway can get really hellacious. Kim’s is one of the best but also the most expensive. So I began courting some royalty. Took out my smart phone, logged on to my favorite food hooker site and typed in «Phở». Suddenly the skies cleared, a rainbow appeared, and a golden pathway(aka google maps) pointed me in the direction of Phở 4 Queen! I mean, you just gotta love that name alone!!! It turns out that it’s closer to my house than Phở-Ever, just as good, and about 20% cheaper too! I called in my take-out order and the lady who answered the phone was super nice. She quickly took my order and even offered to give me driving directions to the restaurant. How cool is that? Phở 4 Queen is located in a strip mall and is situated between a .99 Cent Only Store and a Western Dental and Orthodontics. There’s plenty of parking and the sign on above the business is very easy to see when you look east from Rancho Santa Fe road in San Marcos. Walked in and BAM, my order was ready not more than 10 minutes after I phoned it in! The Spring Rolls were perfection! I orderedboth the Shrimp and Pork and also the Vegetarian ones. The rice paper wrapper was moist, brilliantly fresh, and literally melted in my mouth after biting into it! Asian Foodie Tip #1– Rice paper wrappers that are overly chewy are O L D! The Grilled Beef Skewer was awesomely divine and fit for a king! It was tender, charred perfectly, and delicately seasoned. Super, duper YUM! The #11 House Special Phở was outstanding! The broth was not overly salty and the meats were meticulously sliced into tender bite size pieces. The rice noodles were soft, perfectly al dente, and served with farm fresh bean sprouts, basil, and onions. Asian Foodie Tip #2– Rice noodles that are brittle or break apart into small pieces/dissolve in your broth are S T A L E! So I totally look forward to coming back to Phở 4 Queen! This place is fantastic and inspires the Foodie Perfectionist in me because, in the words of Oprah Winfrey, «Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another steppingstone to greatness.»

We came here because it’s the only Asian restaurant opened at 10am. We arrived at around 10:05a but it is NOT open. We waited for around 10 mins before the waiter let us in. Menu is pretty confusing. Service: The waiter is nice but it is difficult to understand what he is saying. Food: The noodles in the phở is good; broth is mediocre. Chicken in the chicken salad is too oily and partly charred. Pork roll is below average. Ambience: good. The store looks clean. Price: small bowl is pretty large. The price is fair.

Located right next to a 99 cent store and in a part of San Marcos I’ve never been too before… previous reviews are accurate, the outside looks a bit rough but once you step inside it’s very clean and pretty standard(decorating-wise) to other phở places I’ve dined at. I came here after work on a Wednesday to curb my phở craving and get rid of a cold. I was greeted immediately by a male employee and he told me I could sit wherever I want. It’s pretty big inside, there are plenty of booths and chairs to choose from. I opted for the #33 vegetarian tofu phở. I was happy to hear that it was a true vegetarian dish, made with actual vegetable broth(YAY!!!) and not fish or beef stock. Granted the restaurant wasn’t extremely busy, but my order was cooked and brought out swiftly. For a «small», the bowl is HUGE and a bargain for $ 7 — I couldn’t even finish the whole thing. The broth was hot, but honestly a bit on the bland side compared to other vegetarian phở I’ve eated. Nothing sriracha couldn’t fix though. And they don’t skimp out on the garnishes! I was provided with a solid portion of limes, jalapenos, bean sprouts, and thai basil to add. Great place for phở when you can’t make the trip to Convoy.
