We worked with Kevin when we were shopping for a spa and he was very helpful with all our questions. We would definitely recommend this store if you are looking for a spa! Very helpful, knowledgeable and patient in helping us make the right choice for us.

These guys are awesome! I called in for a spa cover and had a custom made one delivered to my house 2 days later! The quality is excellent, includes flaps and clips to ensure the cover stays clipped in. I will call anytime I need anything for my spa as the customer service and communication was great and the gentlemen were very knowledgeable.

My wife and I purchased a Caldera Martinique over a year ago from La Costa Pool and Spa. The manager, Ian, assisted my wife and me by educating us on Jacuzzis. Although I had already done my research, he had new information to offer us and validated what I already knew. My wife and I compared prices to other stores in the local area and found that their Jacuzzis were fairly priced. We made the decision to purchase a Jacuzzi from them on that day, and all the employees went to work immediately to check stock, arrange a delivery date/​time, and even recommended an electrician (who was absolutely amazing). Within the last year, I’ve had some issues with the Jacuzzi, such as two jets that stopped rotating, exterior wood cracked on two sides, and a small leak from the front of the Jacuzzi. When I noticed the jets stopped rotating, I went into the store and was given two matching brand new replacements with zero hassle. When the cabinet cracked, they ordered replacements, and within a week, someone came out to my house and repaired it like new. The water leak worried me initially, however, an employee named Jeff got someone out the same day (Friday) to fix the problem, which ended up being a loose coupler and a no-​brainer fix. I can’t say enough about how amazing their customer service is. Most businesses would have told me it’s Friday and they won’t be able to get someone out until next week, which hasn’t been the case on every single occasion that I’ve had an issue. I highly recommend this company based on their amazing customer service and backing up their warranty, unlike a lot of other companies who promise the same but don’t always follow through.

We bought very well made, comfortable and beautiful patio furniture at a most reasonable price. After checking all the stores along Furniture Row and elsewhere, as well as all online offers, we decided to stick with this company. The in-​store service was superb. Jeff, our salesman, was not at all pushy and helped us make the right choice. The furniture is in and looks perfect. Thank you!

We were in the process of a backyard remodel and decided to look into swim spas. We did not know much about Spas, but started our research and came across La Costa Pool and Spa, I called and informed them that before I even go into the store, I had many questions to ask. We worked with Bob and he was very knowledgeable, professional, and patient — he spent many hours with us over the phone and in person. We were also able to go into the store and try out the Spa, our 8 year old was SOLD after this :)
We ended up purchasing the Coleman 1439 Swim Spa and could not be happier with our decision.

Nice selection and goos sales people

Ian was amazing at answering all our questions about spas. He spent a great deal of time with us, ensuring we were satisfied before and after purchasing. We bought a Caldera spa which should be arriving soon. We were so satisfied, we returned to purchase patio furniture. Again, Ian was extremely knowledgeable about the myriad of furniture – from quality and warranty of the frame to the nuances of the Sunbrella fabrics. (They have quite a selection!) His colleague, Bob, was extremely helpful, as well. I would highly recommend La Costa Pool & Spa to anyone who wants an excellent shopping experience with people they can trust.

We were looking for some patio furniture for our new backyard and checked this place out first since it is in such a convenient location. We weren’t expecting to pay so much for a nice outdoor dining set and umbrella, but we were really impressed with the quality of the furniture and the knowledge of the staff. We shopped at a few other patio furniture stores and also checked out Lowe’s for the heck of it and there is just no comparison to the quality and value found here. We absolutely love our new furniture and can’t wait to spend summer days in the backyard enjoying it!

Again impressed by La Costa Pool and Spa. Called to get supplies shipped to me overnight because I was having a party the next day and dropped the ball. Much to my surprise they had a service tech in the area and we’re able to drop off the supplies within the hour. I love this company. In today’s day it’s nice to receive good old fashion customer service.

It’s funny that Michelle says I am not a customer of La Costa. I have a sales agreement that has their name on it. Also as far as a statement being factual. She should check the facts on hers. I actually did have electrical out there and I already had the old spa removed all they had to do was haul away. Also she doesn’t mention anything about how her delivery people asked for my social security info again because it had been lost. It’s also an absolute fact that I made only one phone call to her business which was only after her delivery crew told me my info was lost.

We did have a problem with delivery length, which can happen. The owner called and listened to my concerns and feedback, which often does not happen. While the length of delivery was disappointing, there was someone that was willing to listen and take action. Things will always happen, but they made a good recovery by calling and we are looking forward our next order with them.

We had some issues at first regarding wrong pricing and information on their website, etc. It was — at times — a bit frustrating, but in the end, it turned out OK. Despite the issues, Ian was professional and aimed to keep me happy with the experience at La Costa Pool and Spa and, evidently, the purchase I had just made — even if that meant to cancel the order, which I didn’t do. After we iron-​out the issues, everything else after that ran smoothly.

Aside from loving spas, I didn’t know a thing about them. The owners here were very patient with our million questions during the process of choosing the perfect one for us. Ian was also very helpful after the purchase of our spa, answering all of our questions regarding maintenance and etc. Delivery was quick and installation went smoothly. These guys are pros and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to purchase a spa. The cherry on top: It always feels good to support a family business!

My wife and I had been searching for a spa and were having difficulties in finding a supplier that had an affordable selection. Being a new home-​owner, we didn’t have a lot of extra money laying around, so we were very impressed with the options that were available. The staff was friendly, accommodating, and patient with all of my wife’s questions. We were well-​informed of the necessities for an easy delivery and installation, and everything worked out perfectly. I cannot recommend them enough. Thanks!

What can I say? My entire freaking life is a REMODEL, sigh.
So, this winter I got the brilliant idea of wanting to re-​do my patio/​backyard and add a Swim Spa since I love being in the water so much. During the times when I can’t be in the ocean surfing I could at least get an awesome water workout at home. So, I drew up the plans with a contractor and he suggested La Costa Pool & Spa.
I called ahead, told them what I was looking for, and set up an appointment. Came here and talked to Ian and Michelle. They actually took the time to ask me important questions regarding my renovation, what exactly I’d be using the Swim Spa for, how frequently, and how much time I’d be training in it. Would I be soaking in it? Nah, I’m a shower kinda guy. How many people would be using it? Just me. Is it something that I really want or just «nice» to have. Oops, in all honesty, I kinda wanted it as a backup fitness outlet, to further strengthen my swimming to an Olympic level, and to impress my family and friends showing them what a hardcore athlete I am.
Umm, here’s another factor… It doesn’t rain that frequently in San Diego so I probably spend 11+ months at the beach anyway. Michelle looked at me like I was from another planet and said, «You’re going to spend ALL this money and tear your place apart on something you’re barely going to use?»
Yes, I guess I’m from Mars.
I like the fact that La Costa Pool and Spa didn’t try to sell me something that I didn’t really need. If I had gone ahead with it my better half would never let me hear the end of the Swim Spa that never gets any use! So then I started talking to them about possibility of adding a corner hot tub unit to our upstairs guest bathroom. That actually made a lot more sense and I look forward to coming back here after we draw up the plans to re-​do our top floor…

I am very happy with my Caldera Spa. Kevin and Ian are both good guys and they worked very hard to make sure my wife and I were happy with our purchase. I will surely see these guys again when I need a new spa. I would highly recommend them.

I am so happy that I came to La Costa Pool & Spa… I had been shopping and looking for that perfect fit for over 3 months. So many brands, bells, and whistles can get really confusing.
I came in for their used spa sale. Which were great deals… however, when I sat in the Calspa aqua #A730L, I just fell instantly in Love. It fit me perfectly in everyway.
They gave me a Great price and really went beyond my expectations. I felt like part of the family. They even educated me on different features of the spa that was not needed, Saving me money.
There was a little hi-​cup in the ordering, that was promply taken care of. And the delivery guys were Awesome!

Absolutely Amazing Service!!! Kyle is the best of the best sales associate! He was very knowledgeable about all the products they offer and this was my first hot tub purchase and it was super easy breezy! Got a GREAT DEAL and GREAT SERVICE! I definitely recommend anyone who is looking to purchase a hot tub or even outdoor furniture to go see Kyle! You will not be disappointed with his service or your purchase! He is in constant communication so I feel like I understand how to properly take care of my hot tub and I know I can call him if I ever have any questions without having to dial a 1 – 800 number and speaking to someone different all the time. The delivery was punctual and easy. They were very professional and very knowledgeable as well.
