Thomas Leitner Stone

Several years ago Tom installed our kitchen granite countertops. He had done such a beautiful job that we didn’t hesitate to have him back to install a new granite vanity top in our Powder Room, a quartz countertop in the Laundry Room, and a Travertine cap on a front entry pony wall. Once again, we couldn’t be more pleased! Tom did an outstanding job and the finished project is beautiful! Tom is a true professional, honest, meticulous, time-​sensitive, and reasonably priced. I highly recommend him and will definitely use him for any future projects!

Tom fabricated and installed a double vanity top and a shower corner seat (with a radius) for our master bathroom remodel. It was a good experience all around. Tom squeezed us into his schedule and got the job done quickly. He even gave us a design idea for the edging that we adopted and it came out looking great. Very reasonable pricing too. I would definitely recommend Tom.

Tom was highly recommended to us from another contractor we used. Through the entire process, Tom did not disappoint. He traveled to multiple yards looking for slabs that we might be interested in, sending us pictures. Once we decided on what we wanted, every part of the project was smooth. His scheduling, customer service and installation were top notch. Tom and his employees were very professional and a pleasure to work with. The finished product was beyond what we expected. Our countertops are the most complemented piece of our renovation. I highly recommend Tom.

It actually hurt giving this guy 1 star. We were in need of counter tops for our Ikea cabinets in a bathroom, on laundry center and in a kitchen. We chose an awesome quartz product and decided to go with Thomas based on his Unilocal reviews. Prior to purchasing the quartz we showed him the cabinet plans and he recommend a suitable product and style. Thomas and his crew came out the day before installation to go some preliminary work and prepare the cabinets to have the stone installed. One of the first things I noticed was how rude he was too his crew. It was pretty despicable. When the job was complete I was happy with the kitchen and the laundry center, but the kitchen was set too high revealing the yellow plywood. Basically, it was shimmed too high. This was not the case in the bathroom and laundry center. The yellow plywood was very noticeable because the cabinets and counter top are white. When confronted with this issue Thomas became irate and blamed it on the cabinets and at times the the cabinet installers and said it was how it works on Ikea cabinets (yet it was fine in the kitchen and laundry center with the same products and installers). He threatened that if they fixed the issue it would destroy the cabinets. He said he would do it but would not be responsible for the cabinet damage. He kept saying he had been in business for 25 year and had never seen cabinets like this. I found that hard to believe because Ikea is extremely popular, not to mention we had him approve the cabinets ahead of time and the other the bathroom and laundry center were fine. The truth of the matter was Thomas himself helped shim and prepare the the kitchen because it was a larger piece. The other two areas were set by his crew. He was bitching at his guys the whole time and then when it came out that he goofed the install he didn’t have the decency to make it right. I think it is time for him to retire or find another line of work.

Excellent experience! I recently had Tom help me install new granite kitchen counter tops and I couldn’t be happier. I asked him for his help in making many of the decisions and he had great ideas, great taste and helped me keep my cost down. He was easy to get in touch with and did what he said he would. I would definitely recommend him!

Excellent experience working with Tom. He is very laid back but does quality work. Better prices than some of the other quotes we got. No seams on any of the slabs. Stoked with the final product.

Thomas is the best is the business. He does not just send his men to do the job like so many others, he actually comes to the job site and oversees what his men are doing. He also does not just cut slabs and glue them together. I have rounded corners in my kitchen and all my counter tops are one solid piece. My kitchen island is also one solid piece. He is very punctual and does the job perfect. We are very happy with this man’s work. In the many kitchens we have had done this is the best we have seen in 30 years. Thank you, Mr Leitner. I recently replaced my kitchen sink and therefore had to redo the granite countertop. Tom found the slab to match the existing granite and it matches perfectly. He was on the job to make sure the granite was installed correctly. The two gentlemen that helped Tom install were very pleasant and made sure that everything was to my liking. They did an awesome job! I am beyond pleased and would highly recommend this company.

Working with Tom was great. He worked within our budget and the final result was better than expected. The installation crew did an amazing job and they went the extra mile to make sure every detail was covered. Overall my experience was a 10 out of 10 and I couldnt be happier.

Thomas is great! I’m fortunate enough to have a kitchen cabinet business, but I don’t sell counter tops or have installers. I called around to see who I could find to help me with my personal home remodel. After talking to several counter/​stone retailers I found Thomas who was referred to me by one of my customers. He was extremely friendly, accommodating, and felt like his pricing was consistently 10−15% less than other companies across the board. He offers not only granite, but quartz, sile stone, Ceasar stone, and much more. In house fabrication makes it a one stop shop for saving money.
