Carlos Mendoza The Tailor

Carlos’ work is impeccable! I’ve been going to Carlos for a few years now and wouldn’t trust anyone else for alterations. It’s located in San Marino so first off I’d like to say that I’m in no way rich or well-​off, unless you’re talking about happiness in which case I’m a billionaire!
I started going to Carlos when I moved to Alhambra over 3 years ago. I collect Pendleton board shirts which retail around $ 120, so I asked the ladies at the Pendleton store in San Marino who they recommend to get them altered. I didn’t wanna trust just anyone since in the past I have had some very expensive ones pretty much ruined. Anyone out there who collects board shirts knows my pain and how irreplaceable they are. Anyway you get what you pay for and what I don’t mind paying for is piece of mind!
Carlos is on point, efficient and very professional! He takes his trade as a tailor seriously which is extremely hard to find these days. I would trust him with any garment needing some extra attention, so don’t take the risk, trust him, you won’t regret it!

My wife and I have both lost enough weight that our leather jackets no longer fit well enough to wear. We discovered Carlos and he tailored both of them for very reasonable prices and with great craftsmanship. I would highly recommend Carlos for any of your tailoring needs.

He did a very bad job on my dress. I don’t think I can find another tailor like him that bad. I only asked him to trim off the length of the dress. He can make the front and back of dress with different length… He ruined my dress and wasted my money
