A great experience overall, if grading & paving ever be such.
PROS
* Best price of the three contractors who bid my project
* Seemed like a very fair price, especially given the small size of the project
* David and Brett were very cordial, professional and friendly
* I am incorrigibly curious and so asked a ton of questions while they did the work. It didn’t seem to annoy them. They were very helpful in educating me every step of the way and even offered advice on how to care for my driveway.
* They didn’t do the hard sell (though my driveway OBVIOUSLY needs a sealer). I brought up the notion of a seal coat and they said they do that work (still not a hard sell) and added that if I wanted to do it myself, I should go to Reed-​Graham rather than Home Depot to get the sealer material. They said the quality is better and the cost much lower.
* They were careful and meticulous as they did their work. You could tell that they wanted to do it right. Their craft mattered to them.
CONS
* They said they would be at my house at 8:45, but didn’t arrive until closer to 10:30. At one point they got lost and called me for directions.
David and Brett are the kinds of guys that give contractors a good name. Refreshing.
