What are you supposed to expect from a Premium Retailer? Free lunch would be nice but seriously; I went to take care of some business and I can’t even tell if its the hardware, air-​ware or just NO where to be found… the help on using device properly is not the issue but the service; its left me with legitimate questions. Should we just keep paying more and more for something that «does not» work properly or dare I say with many caveats. All I need to do is communicate when I want to/​have to/​need to; it is a phone after all. But any way… I may just be that one in a million that thinks but is not acknowledgeable enough to stop that pass it along ‘cuz they have that buck complacency.
Service as a whole is what it is, but what? Should not be. Shakespeare fans — I am not being wordy in that phrase but trying to make that name uphold what it is presuming to have. Clout. Diamond Certified.

We had a great experience with Alberto today. We went to pick up our lost phone, which was turned in at his store. He very friendly and efficient, and will be our new go-​to Verizon guy.

Great store. I use to live close this location when I was a kid. I have to drive pretty far now but other than that the customer service was amazing and they answered all my questions.

I used to go to the Sequoia Station store in Redwood City and they were awesome. Super knowledgeable and helpful. When I moved to San Mateo I was really happy to see another store just down the street in Crystal Springs shopping center. The guys here are just as awesome. Whenever I can’t figure out something with my phone they’re really patient and willing to help. They really know the phone and accessories that are best for their customers. I sent my husband to their store for his new phone and he’s really happy.

Roy and Paul are top notch. Great service, wonderful people.

Went to buy a new RAZR Maxx HD, just released the day before. He had it in stock, discussed plans, and tried to get me to buy the phone at a discounted price and give up my old unlimited data plan. I listened and asked about paying retail for the phone and keeping my old plan. He acknowledged that option and told me the price but tried to sell me his preferred plan. i listened politely and said my decision was to go with the phone at full retail.
At that point he checked with the boss who decided in this case they wouldn’t do it. Really? He agreed it was one of Verizon’s options, but since it would make them less money they refused to honor it. That’s pretty crappy customer service. I don’t mind that they try to sell the option that makes them the most money, but they simply refuse to honor the other Verizon choice which they just acknowledged was an option !!
The sales guy was nice, nothing against him, but the company’s policy is clearly slanted away from what’s best for the customer. Isn’t that the definition of a bad company to do business with? I think so, so I guess I’ll deal directly with Verizon.

I had to leave for a business trip the following evening and was in a dire need of a wireless adapter, so from there I used my Unilocal app to locate a verizon store and instantly landed me to this location.
I explained to Paul that I needed a wireless adapter since I need to have direct access to the internet while I’m on the road. He was super personable and amicable throughout the 20 minute process. Also, it was close to closing time, so I told Paul he can expedite the contract process as I’m also in a hurry to go home and pack as well.
All in all, Paul was great on explaining the functionality of the wireless jetpack and helping me activate it. Definitely great customer service, which was why i decided to go with Verizon.
The 48 hours later in the east coast, while I was using the jetpack it prompts me a signal that I needed to charge the jetpack. I charged the jetpack for half of the afternoon and realize it was not charging at all. Zero battery life completely. Basically I had to have the power supply intact in order to use the jetpack at that point.
When I returned from my business trip, I forgot about the jetpack for a little over two weeks due to my busy work schedule. Just today, I went to a verizon store to return the jetpack and to explain to how I was unable to ulitize the jetpack during my trip and has been sitting on my coffee table. Here’s when things took a turn.
Paul told the PA verizon manager that he would not accept my return because it was past 14 days nor did he wanted to hear the explanation. Paul never explained the return policy to me once! I was under the assumption I would have 30 days like any other phone carriers. I didnt even find out about the two year terms agreement until I asked him. He should have told me beforehand and I even overlooked that. Basically he got really hostile with the store manager that was helping me and was told Paul will not even accept the return as a favor for the store manager. I mean do you guys see the difference between the corporate store and independent store now?
From there, I’m in shock! I mean, you provided me with a malfunction item and did not even offer to replace it as it was under warrantly. The PA store manager ended up calling it in me.
Overall, I’m very disappointed with my experience with this store and have no hopes of ever becoming a Verizon customer ever again. This is my first and it will be my last. I’m going to pay for the early termination fee and take it as a lesson learned.
Please everyone I highly recommend going into the actual corporate store versus these independent ones. They only put a smile on your face to upsell you, but when they sell a malfunction item to you customer service does not exist.

Great service. Roy and Paul are wonderful. They believe that good customer service will bring back people, and don’t pressure you to buy now. Went in and got information, waited a day and then went back to purchase an iphone 4S. Great experience. I got an otter cover for my phone that was ripped, but Paul said, «take it home and I’ll order another and keep in touch.» Called twice to let me know the status, and today I got my new case. Roy spent 20 minutes installing and taking great care of me. You will enjoy the experience. These guys are great!

The pressure walking into this store is non-​existent which is something you don’t often experience. You are not talked into any miscellaneous junk that you don’t need which is great since other verizon stores try to up-​sell you stuff up the wazoo. If you want a nice hassle free place to buy a phone, I recommend this store.

Really nice owner but he couldn’t help with the issue we were having. He was very helpful showing phones, trying to work deals but since he is a private owner he could NOT early upgrade me on a bunk Palm Pre I had gotten. I really wanted to give him our business too :(
Store needed a little organization, love and dusting IMO.

As others have said it, Quincy is the BEST!
My mom and I were ready to upgrade our phones online, but decided to drop in this store to get a second opinion. I already knew I wanted the HTC Incredible, but my mom was pretty clueless on what she wanted, and we also needed to get an upgrade for my stepdad’s phone. Quincy probably could have talked my mom into believing she needed the Incredible too, but he recommended an aging-​parent-​friendly (big buttons and huge screen!) phone and another phone for my stepdad (both which will end up being free).
He also told us straight out what we didn’t need. He saw that my parents have been paying for Verizon’s insurance (which still carries a deductible!) and got rid of that for us. He even made photocopies of the rebate for our own records, and set up the rebate forms for us too, postage-​paid and pre-​printed envelope included! Quincy also transferred all our phone numbers and pictures onto our new phones, and gave a quick run thru on how to use each phone.
My mom had mentioned that she was going to Taiwan for a few weeks, and Quincy even offered to help her get/​rent a GSM phone for her travels. He truly does go out of his way for his customers. It’s rare to see sales people who are so genuine.
I definitely recommend Quincy’s store to anyone looking to upgrade or get Verizon Wireless!
Oh yah. Quincy’s also taking in any used/​old cell phones to donate to charity; I believe its Women who were victims of domestic violence.

Owner is great! He has wonderful experience, personable and works quickly. I am going to make sure I come here again! He owns the business and is not full of BS like the other stores I have been to. I highly recommend him and I have been to a lot of stores with breaking phone issues and he has been the best!

Quincy is the man! From now on, WirelessLINK is the only cell phone retailer that I’ll do business with. They’re the only retailer that had the Droid X in stock (unless you want to fork over a lot of extra $ and go directly to one of Verizon’s stores), and Quincy price-​matched the cheapest deal I could find. The customer service was top notch, and Quincy even went so far as to help me with an issue I was having with my computer. Quincy was very knowledgeable re the various apps, including which paid apps were worth the expense and where I could get comparable apps for free. All around great experience!

Quincy, the new owner, knows his stuff! I had problems with my barely 3 month old Droid, and I called Verizon three times and they finally said they would send me a new (refurbished) one because they couldn’t figure out how to fix the problem. I went in to see Quincy because my brother said he was the only Verizon store rep he’d deal with. Quincy took my phone, fixed it in like 1 minute! Then he explained how to do some other cool stuff. From now on, this is the Verizon store for me. Thanks Quincy! You ROCK!!!

BF and I went to look at phones for verizon. I actually Unilocal’ed this place and saw 5 stars! Decided to check it out. The owner, Quincy was SUPER nice. BF was debating between the Blackberry or the HTC Incredible, of course me having a blackberry, i want him to get the HTC so I CAN play with it. It’s a super good/​fun touch screen, big screen phone!
Very knowledgeable and hassle free. When BF wasn’t sure about which phones, he even offered him to save the phone until Monday closing so he can think about what phone!
As for the rebate, he is so awesome, he is going to keep track of our rebate AND he even gave us postage to mail out the rebate — THAT IS SUPERB customer service. Hexla better than some of the places out there…

This is an awsome place to get your Verizon Phone. The manager Quincy is top notch. I bought an HTC incredible from him. The process was quick and painless. This place is a lot better than a coporate store. Quincy gave me his undivided attention and did a great job. At corporate stores, there are usually a ton of people and it can get crazy.
I drove all the way from Santa Clara to get my phone here and it was worth the trip.
I highly recommend this place.

Quincy the manager of the store is amazing. what a true gift and so worth it. i live in mill valley and after his customer service will continue to shop at his store in san mateo. He is making a video for my new phone. saved me $$ on the tax. calling me back. unheard of any more in customer service. I can say alot of wireless stores are horrible and i can say wireless Link in san mateo rocks. dont go anywhere else.

What a pleasant, hassle free experience! So much better than the other place in San Mateo, which I won’t name, with the long lines and rude reps.
I bought a HTC Incredible from Quincy, the new owner of this store. He was very knowledgeable about the plans and will talk you out of the unnecessary add-​ons to save you $$.
Will definitely return next time I’m eligible for an upgrade.
