Dr. Henry Dee has been practicing dentistry for over 26 years and first established his practice in San Mateo in 1990. He graduated from the prestigious University of the East School of Dentistry in the Philippines in 1982 and has continued to attend continuing education courses annually. Dr. Dee is committed to providing the highest standard of care and personalized service, which includes listening to his patients and not jumping from one patient to another. He strongly believed in the merit of trust and integrity and the principle of only recommending treatments that they would consider for themselves.

I really enjoy coming to Dr.Dee. I have been going to him since my teeth came in. He is quick, Gentle and efficient. The receptionist staff is always friendly and personable. I will never go anywhere else. I even referred my Boyfriend who is typically afraid of dental visits and he was so shocked at how easy and painless his visit was.

I have been visiting Dr. Dee for about 12 years he and his staff are AWESOME!!! very professional yet laid back. Imee is very nice and wonderful to deal with. Most importantly Dr. Dee is super honest. I was being misguided by another practice that I won’t name for surgery that was not even required and Dr. Dee told me it was an unnecessary procedure, while the other doctor was steering me into getting it done, I guess she was thinking more of her mortgage payment than my well being, I ended up throwing $ 200 of my own money not covered by insurance for just taking the 360view special xrays at another practice before even considering the surgery, wish I consulted Dr. Dee sooner. That just shows you what type of person he is and that speaks volumes.

My entire family has been coming to Dr. Dee for almost 20 years now, since I was a kid. And even now that I’m in my 20s and living in Los Angeles, I won’t see anyone other than Uncle Henry (as my siblings and I refer to him). It doesn’t matter that there are other dentists much closer to me in SoCal — I make the trip up to San Mateo twice a year for my checkups. Dr. Dee is the best and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my teeth.
I had pretty messed-​up teeth as a kid. I got braces in the 3rd grade and didn’t have them taken off until high school, and in the midst of that, I needed to have 4 adult teeth extracted (as a 12-​year-​old) to correct my big overbite. I remember how stressed I was beforehand (what 6th grader wouldn’t be?), but Dr. Dee was so patient and gentle throughout, which made the whole experience… not bad at all. And he’s never been anything but that way. I get regular compliments on my smile these days and I owe them all to my regular visits. :)
Everybody at this office is top-​notch. (Auntie) Aimee at the front desk has always been on top of everything — from all of my scheduling difficulties (and I have many!) to helping me navigate dental insurance options after I started my first job.
All of these 5-​star ratings are here for VERY good reason. Best dentist ever!

My favorite dentist… I’ve been coming to Dr. Dee for over 10 years now, I love it here! even when I moved to San Francisco 7 years ago, I would still drive back south to San Mateo to see him. the staff makes me feel very welcome like family. I’ve been coming in to see Dr. Dee for almost 30 years. He and his staff feel like family as they’ve seen me through puberty and on. He is very thorough and clearly passionate about his work. He has a gentle manner and makes you feel at ease while wielding sharp tools in your mouth.

Dr. Dee has been my dentist since the early 90’s. Even after we moved to Southern California, I continue to drive or fly to NCAL to get treated by him. YES! He’s that good. If you’re like me, scared of needles and any dental work, go to Dr. Dee.
He’s the best dentist ever! I tried switching to a couple of dentists based in Southern California who were highly recommended to me by friends. None of them compared to Dr. Dee’s way of injecting anesthesia, etc. One dentist even damaged my bridge, went back to Dr. Dee and he fixed it for me.
If patients like me stay loyal enough to drive over 800 miles round trip to be treated by Dr. Dee, that should say a lot about how goos he is in the field of dentistry. He’s great with kids too!!!

Dr. Dee’s work, professionalism and compassion for his patients is second to none. He has been my dentist since I was a single lady over 25 years ago. My family has since grown to 5. Dr. Dee has been there for my now 3 grown daughters from their first baby tooth to their wisdom tooth. I’ve been going to Dr. Dee for over 20 years and I’ve had nothing but great experiences each time I go for my visit. He explains the procedures clearly and always puts your mind at ease. The best part is he’s very gentle with the tools that honestly you barely feel them in your mouth.
I’ve since moved down to LA but I still make sure to make my yearly trip back up to the bay and schedule an appointment with him. Once you find a great dentist, it’s hard to let go, no matter how far you go. I’m not the only one, I know many others from as far as the east coast still scheduling their appointments with Dr. Dee when they’re in town. He has a lot of long time patients and I think that speaks highly of the service he provides. The staff is the the best, very professional and accommodating. I recommend my friends to his office all the time and they’ve had great experiences as well.
Lastly, I can’t say enough how CLEAN this place is! Seriously, the entire office is spotless and I took a relative with me for my recent appointment and when he checked out the bathroom, he commented that you could sleep in it! It’s that clean!

Dr. Dee is such a kind & gentle dentist. Very understanding and knowledgeable. I’ve been his patient for the last 19yrs! He cares about how patient feels so much during the procedure that I never have to worry about getting tools poking in my mouth and hurting me. I have moved away from Millbrae 18yrs ago but I’m still willing to drive about 25 miles a trip just for general check-​up. I’ve done major procedures and he can also control the time spend pretty well. Seriously, I’ve tried 2 – 3 other dentists through these yrs but none of them is as good as Dr. Dee. I just have to say he & his team is superb and excellent.
Aimee is the admin lady who is REALLY helpful on the appointment scheduling. Make sure to book your appointment as soon as you can because the office is closed on Wed & Sun.

Excellent dentist. Never feel any pain. Dr. Dee explains and checks thoroughly. Very patience and explains every detail and entertains my questions and a very good listener. Me and my family sees him more than 10years. His clinic is punctual with appointments, never have to wait in the waiting area. His staff were friendly even called to remind appointment. Very nice, neat and clean clinic. His clinic even have a spacious and fragrant restroom. ;) I never have any problem of looking for parking. The facility has huge free parking.

Dr. Dee is a wonderful dentist. He is very gentle and knowledgeable and just a nice person in general. My whole family goes to see Dr. Dee and we have been going there for years. His staff is great too. If I’m in any pain they really listen to me and adjust accordingly, but you do have to speak up. They always advise me about what my insurance will cover prior to doing a procedure. I never have trouble getting an appointment. For someone who has had sensitive gums and teeth problems most of her life, Dr. Dee was a great find.
His office is very clean and I never have to wait long to be seen which is great for a working mom. He may not have flat screen TVs all over his office, but I’d rather see someone I trust than someone who spends a ton of money making his office look great. I’m going to send my kids to see him too when they are old enough.

I’ve been going to Dr. Dee for over 10 years. He is absolutely the best! He only recommends treatment that is necessary and provides plenty of options. He is also willing to work with you if you have special requests. He removed my mercury fillings and followed the protocol to do it safely. I highly recommend him if you are looking to have that done.
He is gentle and calming. I rarely experience any pain and never «dread» when it’s time for a check up. The office is immaculate and the staff is competent and friendly. Any time I have had anyone else look at my teeth, I’ve gotten comments on the exceptional skill of the dentist who performed the work. All of my fillings have been done by Dr. Dee. I can’t ever imagine going to anyone else!
