Buster, my mini golden doodle pup, just finished a 6 week Polite Puppy Program with Mandy. Mandy’s training techniques will help build a great foundation for your pup to become a well adjusted and happy dog. We have learned so much in 6 weeks. Buster has learned so many commands which will help him adapt to many situations. The biggest thing Mandy taught me was to let go of my fears and anxieties in raising a puppy since they feed off your energy. This has help me so much.
Mandy is a true professional. She is prompt, knowledgable and always there to answer all your questions via e-​mail or phone. She truly cares in helping dogs reach their full potential and will give you the tools needed to accomplish this. We were lucky to find Mandy. I highly recommend her.

I can’t say enough great things about Mandy! We hired her to help us with our dog Sal, who we thought had separation anxiety. Turns out he’s just a bit of a velcro dog and is unhappy whenever and wherever we are not. Haha! Regardless, upon her first visit, she immediately made changes to Sal’s crate set-​up that made him much happier to spend time in the crate. She gave us homework to do and followed up with us on Sal’s progress. In addition, she promptly answered my endless questions/​emails. And I’m talking multiple times! I give her the highest recommendation!

We adopted our Whippet /​Shepherd mix dog, Holly, in August and hoped that she could be a good «store dog» in our shop in San Mateo. With Mandy’s incredible training Holly now knows «Go to your place» (she runs across the shop to her doggy bed and waits until we tell her to release), «Leave it» (with lots of treats in the shop she’ll stop and look to us rather than grabbing whatever is near her nose). «Wait» which gets her to stay in one area of the shop until we release her. «Bow» Which is her way of saying that she’s done playing with children so that she can go back to her place. «Take it» which she waits to hear before diving into her bowl of food. And «Touch» which makes her stop whatever she’s doing and come over to one of us and gently touch our hand with her nose (great way to stop any behavior we’re not happy with and move to something good).
Mandy is a terrific trainer who truly gets dogs and their humans.

We just had Mandy help us with training our new 10 week old Cavachon puppy. We’ve had dogs before but never a puppy; Mandy was phenomenal with helping guide as through the appropriate commands/​training, dos and don’ts, and general essential information needed to make sure our little guy is getting off to a great start. She has a great ability to work with our dog and figure out his motivations from the get go. She also found the best way to curb his current habit of biting my feet, legs and hands — her solutions and training points on this are like gold… I’m SO appreciative for that alone.
Mandy is professional, prompt, and an excellent communicator in person, via phone, and through email. I look forward to recommending her to any/​all of my friends and family with dogs. No doubt, she’s our new go-​to trainer for all things puppy and dog related… we’re so happy we happened to find her!

We just had Mandy work with our new Golden Mountain Dog puppy (part golden retriever /​part Bernese Mountain Dog), and Mandy was terrific. Her training and techniques just plain make sense, can be used right away and she really gets the dog (and the humans). I especially appreciated her insights about environmental management to keep the little girl out of trouble in the first place. I also appreciated that at the end of each lesson, she gave us a written summary of what she had prepared for the day and how we could reinforce it on our own. She’s great with the dogs and equally good with the two-​legged human kind as well. What a find!

Mandy is the absolute best & a total professional! We needed Mandy to help walk our dog while we were out of town. He’s too excitable for my mom or daughter to walk. She came to meet & learn about our super hyper 3yr old yellow lab ahead of time. She just has so much patience & love for dogs. Mandy was on time every day & would text us to let us know how the walk went & even sent a picture. We knew our dog was in excellent hands & he just loved her! It’s difficult to find someone reliable & trustworthy. We will definitely call upon Mandy again! Thank you Mandy!
