Hi, I’m Phil Rowe. I’ve been a licensed contractor since 1980; and my wife, Judi and I currently own and operate R&R Handyman Services.

We are a local, family-​run business, serving the San Francisco Bay Area. We have service technicians that reside in several communities throughout the Bay Area, so we are never far from you.

Our company provides a wide range of repair, maintenance, and improvement services; for both residential and commercial locations. We do jobs both big and small: from a one hour quick fix, up to full remodels.

Before you decide who gets your business, I’d like to tell you a few things that we strive to deliver with our company:

History

Established in 2012.

After 30 years of building new homes throughout the Valley and Bay Area, I found that there was a growing need for handymen that were capable of doing small jobs as well as large ones. In 2008 decided to purchase an East Bay territory within the Mr. Handyman Franchise. Over the next 4 years our territory continued to grow and expanded to San Francisco and the Peninsula. In 2011 we realized that the franchise fees and other costs associated with the franchise were beginning to add up. When this started to happen we made the decision to leave the Franchise and start our handyman business. We formed R&R Handyman the beginning of 2012 and never looked back. As a small family owned business, we understand that our customers are the bloodline of our company; this is why we have and will continue to provide the best service possible.

Business Owner

I became a licensed contractor in 1980 building homes and duplexes in Sacramento. Over the years I have built about 250 homes both working for myself and others. I have always enjoyed the construction process and in 2008 when the market for new homes slowed I found repairs and remodels provided the same level of satisfaction and would enable me to utilize the experience of the past 30 plus years.

Since then we have grown to have 6+ technicians in the field and do jobs ranging from a simple one hour repair to full bath and kitchen remodels. When not working I enjoy the grand kids, trips with my wife of 43 years and old car related events.
